I don't come to this In N Out location much unless I'm in the area and it's right when they start serving at 10am. The last couple of time I came here, I didn't have a good experience and today was no different. When I arrived, there was only 1 car in front of me. I ordered a 3X2 animal style with no onion or pickles, add chopped chilies with fries and a cup of ice. The person working the drive thru had to repeat the order to me twice because he messed up. When I pulled up to the window, another worker also repeated the order to me. They took some time but when my burger was handed to me, I saw onion on it. Then the guy give me my receipt and I saw my order on the receipt was wrong. I could've ask them to remake it but I didn't want to wait longer so I just took it as is. The receipt said double double with GR P, chillis patty. The burger I got had no chilis and no tomato in it. When I drive past this In N Out at night, I always see a long line in the street. I think they are just slower compared to other locations. But after this experience, I don't believe I'll come back to this location. I'll go to the one near my house or Porter Ranch. read more

In-N-Out is good but not so consistent... trying to satisfy a late night craving I stopped by for a grilled cheese & some animal style fries. I asked for no tomatoes on my grilled cheese & chopped chilies on my fries, once I got home I noticed that my grilled cheese had tomatoes & my animal fries were missing the chopped chilis. I understand mistakes can happen but it was disappointing after making the drive there and back. I also ordered a #1 with no pickles and you guessed it, it had pickles. Terrible service and unprofessional staff!! I've been coming to this In-N-Out for a long time, but the service has gone downhill. The girl taking orders was extremely rude. She wears a lot makeup so you can't miss her...She yelled, "Hi, what can I get for you?" before my window was even down, and when I rolled it down to respond, she continued to shout at me with attitude. When I asked why she was being rude, she said, "I asked how you were and you didn't answer," even though my window was clearly still going down. When I got to the window, several employees were staring at me like I was the problem, which made the whole experience even more uncomfortable. The staff all seem to have bad attitudes lately, and it's disappointing because this used to be one of my go-to locations. Also, the same girl never wears her name tag visibly it's always covered by her jacket, which seems like a dress code issue. Employees should be identifiable to customers. Don't go here. I know that you will think that it must be better because it is so popular with a long line out the door when McDonald's and Taco Bell across the street have much shorter lines. This isn't because they are better, but because they are incompetent. There is no reason why we should wait an hour in line to get it. It's not just the length of the line, but the people inside are as slow as molasses. They make one basic item, and can't seem to get it out in time. It takes about five minutes per car sometimes. I always think it's gonna be different, then I got stuck in the line and it sucks. Never again. I asked why they were so slow, and the person in the window said they were quite busy". I timed the cars and they were taking over five minutes per vehicle. Who wrote this review I was in mine, and they gave me my animal fries to go in a bag, and said here's your fries and burgers, and I got home and realized it'd only given me the fries. There's no way I am going to go there and stand in line again to try to get this straightened out. Total waste. Other locations are faster and food is good. I will give them five. As a Yelp elite you gotta review everything. Even if you been to the same chain a 100 times to other in and out spots. They do no have an inside side down spot. Outside seating only. Two lanes for drive thru. Very very small parking lot to eat at outside patio. Food: everything is amazing. Ambiance: more of a summer time and fall spot to eat outside here in this spot. The service is good, it's always packed so expect the drive through to take you about 40 mins on average. Something about this In-N-Out just hits different!! Last week my wife and I were in Southern California visiting family. Our flight into Burbank Airport was severely delayed, making it was very late when we landed. I was STARVING. And it was 10pm. So I recommended In-N-Out as a late night option. Neither of us had been to In-N-Out in FOREVER! I'm talking three or four years? Pre-Covid. There isn't one close to us in Midtown Sacramento, as I've noticed they're almost all located in the 'Burbs. This In-N-Out is located at the intersection of Lassen and Balboa in Northridge, California. Northridge is a city within the San Fernando Valley (aka Northern Los Angeles). I have very fond memories of this In-N-Out location. I went to Cal State Northridge for undergrad. And as a former resident of the San Fernando Valley, this location is nostalgic for me. Back when I was a Size 31 waist (lol!), I have fond memories of cramming down In-N-Out burgers and animal-style fries while studying for mid-Term and finals exams! Mostly, I love this location being drive-thru only. I've never seen any other In-N-Out that is completely drive-thru! It reminds me of Sonic. It's very "1950s" and I'm here for the originality and creativity! Because in 2024 I feel nobody wants to sit inside fast food places anyways. I also love that there are two drive thru lanes at this In-N-Out! It's very unique and allows for patrons to get orders in quickly. For those who do insist on eating "here" and not doing "drive thru," this location does have benches. Just be aware that they are completely outdoors. There is also a spot in the back for those who want to "walk up" and order not via automobile. When my wife and I rolled up there were hardly any cars in line (mind you it was 10pm on a Thursday night). My wife and I both ordered a hamburger with banana peppers and one fry. (Unpopular opinion but I think cheeseburgers are pretty mid lol). However, the employee who took our order seemed high or something. He repeated back our order completely incorrectly. To the point where it sounded like he was joking or something. "Two double doubles with no onions." HUH? Not even close! When I corrected him and tried to do so in a humorous way he seemed pretty bothered and annoyed at me. It was a strange interaction. I'm no Karen by any means! The opposite, in fact. But I just ask that if you work somewhere at least be a bare minimum of friendly. Anyhow, we pulled up to the order window and our food was ready FAST! Like incredibly so! $10 for everything in today's world was also a pleasant surprise! We drove to my family's house and devoured everything (ate so quickly I forgot to take pictures for this review lol). The burgers and fries were just so good! I would've given five stars if not for the service being weird. I understand that it was late and that service workers in general are underpaid (these businesses need to stop being cheap!). But the weird interaction unfortunately docks a star in my book. Four out of five stars is still very good!! I live in the valley and I have 3 in&out burgers near me . One in porter ranch and one on Tampa in the Costco center. But the one I'm writing about is the one on Balboa and Lassen. This location has the least tasteless burgers out of the three. And they also skimp on there lettuce they over toast the buns as well . Once the bun are cold they get hard and crunchy when there over toasted. I have a couple of photos of what I'm talking about. It's a little thing but when you waited 20 minutes in line you would be expected to get a burger the same at any location. This location is different frequently. read more

Hands down in n out is my favorite fast food restaurant that has always quality and consistent food. Last night my dog and I went on an in n out run, I love how they implement food for the doggos and got him a puppy patty. Love taking my dog through the drive thru because he loves to interact with the workers and the people in line always try to get his attention and say hi to him. This in n out has two drive through lanes which helps flow the traffic, but the lines can get crazy long going halfway down the street. No indoor seating, however they have some outdoor seating which is amazing ambiance so it's really nice to enjoy fresh air and eat your amazing food. read more

Good In-N-Out, they have two drive through lines and only outdoor seating. Meat grilled perfectly and fries are seasoned perfectly. There are times where the lines are hella long, but that is very reasonable being that the lines go down the street. They make my orders correct 99% of the time and provide the best service possible. This In-N-Out location is quite difficult to access, and I can't imagine how much traffic it may cause during peak hours. The photos may be deceiving because there is no interior seating - this is a drive-thru location. There is seating outdoors, but parking is scarce and limited to 20 minutes. I visited around 10pm for some late night munchies, and they delivered! The staff were super friendly, and the food came out a little slower than other In-N-Outs during rush hour, but not slow enough to leave one hangry. I will admit they aren't the most generous with fries, but other than that, a decent location to satisfy late night cravings if you don't mind navigating the drive-thru traffic. read more

Usually never have an issue with this location other than the fact that the line flows to the street so people get confused thinking they're making a right turn at the light but really they're just in line for some burgers! It's on the corner of a stop light so it can easily confuse for the right turn lane because of how busy it gets. I definitely like this location over others because of their ice! If you have had Sonic or Coffee Bean, they have that good ice. Almost like crushed? It's so satisfying! The burgers are always good but that's just in n out in general. Normally I'm the driver so I have my bf or someone else in the car check to make sure we have everything before driving off. This time, my mom picked it up for us for dinner and they didn't even give us any straws! We had 3 drinks, she said that the cashier guy said the straws were in the bag but she got home and they weren't. There were also no condiments? Normally we ask for spread but you would think that some ketchup would be in there for the fries at least. It felt so incomplete and the burger buns were also a bit harder than usual?
