If I could give this place negative stars I most definitely would. I miss Tommy's burgers, Bakersfield shutdown all locations. As I drove to Target I spotted it and stopped for the epic fries I grew up with. The fries have changed, the cut and seasoning is no longer what once was. I simply ordered fries and a large water with no ice. I was charged for the water as a regular drink and as I stated the fries sucked! The drive thru time to receive my items was ridiculous. I get change is good but this changed worked for the worst. I found parking easily in the private lot this place has. I have never picked up a delivery that took more than 30 minutes for a store to make. I understand that the receipt machine wasn't working, but it should not take that long to make an order as my customer began arguing with me through text and ended up losing two orders. I tried my best to be nice and patient, but really I was very frustrated and there was a group of drivers waiting a while for the orders. The customer service here has always been OK as the workers aren't that friendly to interact with. An example would be today when I asked if the order for the customer was ready, the worker wouldn't even answer me as she shook her head and didn't respond and continued working when I already waited over 20 minutes at that point. I don't appreciate losing half an hour of my night and the lack of communication of when the orders will be ready. Also, they were giving too much help for one customer as he gave multiple requests and asked a lot of questions about what he wanted for his order when I arrived before waiting the 30 minutes. This place is my favorite breakfast spot for a quick (big) bite before work. I would highly recommend the breakfast sandwich with egg. It comes with a a sausage patty, egg, their famous chili with tomato, onion and pickles all wrapped up in a hamburger bun. You can add cheese if you want. I love this location because it is opened 24/7. That means you have access to the best chili cheese fries in Los Angeles County. Coming in a close second is the Hat and third and fourth would be Bobo'd and Johnny's Pastrami but I digress. This chili is best eaten hot, with melted cheese and I like grilled onions. They also have pickles, banana hot peppers and ketchup. I enjoy the chili cheese hamburger as well. They have double and (I think) triple burgers but one layer is plenty for me especially since I add chili and all the fixings (onion, pickles, tomatoes). This location is pretty fast whether you walk inside or go through the drive thru. Good customer service as well. They are also reasonably priced for the portion sizes.
