clean, self-order kiosks, and nice attentive employees! Got the crunchwrap supreme which will always be our go-to, gordita, grilled cheese burrito, and nacho fries. The nacho fries in the avocado mayo will sit up there amongst my faves - freshly fried, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside... Diablo sauce is also my fave. Stopping by here on our way to Vegas hit the spot.

Never failed in giving me the satisfaction on eating anything I've ordered here! Born line, one of the my to-go-to Taco Bell stores amongst a few close to home.

This has been our go to since it's the closest one to us and they're usually pretty good about our orders. We always go through the drive thru and since I'm the driver, I usually have my passenger maker sure the order is all there. We went the other night to try the Enchirito finally and it was amazing! Unfortunately they messed out my other item. It was actually the first thing I ordered and it wasn't the right one. I ordered a Mexican pizza which I don't normally order but wanted to give it a try again and they gave us nachos instead. Luckily the nachos were good but wish I could've gotten the Mexican pizza. Not sure how that was mistaken. I guess I'll have to thoroughly check it next time before I drive off. IG: @ammysalamii

I stopped by this Taco Bell location today to take advantage of their happy hour freezes. I never been to this location before but I was in the area since I went to buy girls scout cookies from my niece who was selling nearby. This taco bell location was on the way back so I figure I would come here to try it. The lot that this Taco Bell is in is small like the other locations. When I walked in, I was going to order from the kiosk but I was confuse on the price because it was still happy hour but the prices were different. I haven't been to a Taco bell in a while so I think the prices just went up so I ordered at the cashier. I got the Blue Raspberry Electric Strawberry freeze because I never had this flavor. I thought it was pretty good so I got 2 of it. This location seem pretty cleaned and they can fit a decent size of people inside for dining.

Was feeling a bit hungry since it's lunch time. I have two children in the car, both under the age of two and didn't want to get them out of the car just to order food so I decided drive-thru it was and Taco Bell was the closest option I could think of near home. I've been here before previously, and I typically don't write reviews on fast food chains, but today hit differently. In a good way. I enjoy Taco Bell's food in general, but I just want to say to whoever it was that made my order today, THANK YOU!! It was stuffed like never before. It got me thinking, "now this is a TACO" (and a burrito, because I ordered that too). Drive-thru is always quick at this location and service is very quick as well. The team members I've interacted with were friendly even if it was for a short moment. As for the ambiance, unfortunately I haven't dined in since I always have children in the car and it's usually around their nap time so I can't say, but by far this location is the best I've visited/come across. Once again, thank you to whoever made my order. It was delicious. Taco Bell/Manager of this location, if you see this, please send the the team my thanks and appreciation.

The manager who works there in the mornings is so nice. She greets every customer and is very cheerful. The breakfast burritos are good. The egg actually tastes like egg! I also get some of their classic bean burritos.

    Why would you serve this?!?

The decor is standard for a SoCal taco place, despite how far it is from the actual beach. The food itself is excellent. I had the two chicken tacos (standard and jerk sauce) as well as a gourmet beef taco. My favorite was the jerk sauce taco as it had a great assortment of toppings, with a good balance of sweet and savory. I had the other chicken taco spicy, and it was surprisingly potent.

I haven't been there since they changed owners and decided to give it a try. Apparently, the chef and the waitresses are the same so I was thinking the food would be the same as before. This time when I went, I ordered the chicken taco and shrimp taco. The chicken taco was cold and contained small pieces of dark meat thrown into a taco. Usually tacos use shredded or stewed chicken so this was not the norm for me. The minute I bit into it, I could taste the chicken was old and gamey. I bit into a large piece of grissle from the bone and almost threw up. I took one bite of the shrimp taco and could not identify the flavor. It definitely wasn't cilantro, but some other kind of herb I didn't recognize. I ended up throwing it away. I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately, I will never go back. I'm sorry, but I cannot recommend this place

In a city where Mexican food is probably the primary dining option; one might think that it is all…read morethe same: that a taco here is the same as a taco there. This line of thinking is completely false as each region and state in Mexico has distinct flavors, cultural preparations and unique ingredients. Luckily in the City of Angels; we have access to all of these styles whereas everyone can pick and choose their favorite! I was in the North Hills/Mission Hills area and decided Mexican was going to be the meal of the day - and thanks to the trusty Yelp app: Tacos al Tijuanense was the winner to satisfy my hunger pang. If you are a longtime LA resident or born-and-raised within the city limits and can swear to Tacos al Tijuanense sounding familiar/remembering that it was a food truck... Then your memory doesn't deceive you. Tacos al Tijuanense birthed as a food truck in 1987 quickly gaining popularity for its smoked meats and Tijuana-inspired flavors serving tacos, vampiros, quesadillas, birria tacos, etc; loaded with fresh toppings and offering a variety of meats for the protein selection. The LA love for Tacos al Tijuanense caused such popularity that the food truck expanded into brick-and-mortar locations with several now spread throughout the city. The North Hills location of Tacos al Tijuanense holds real estate near the Woodly/Nordhoff intersection in a small strip plaza shopping center that seems half sleepy and half eyebrow-raising. But, as most of us know, the hidden gems are usual the best spots so don't be deterred by such businesses like the sketchy massage parlor next door. In fact, diners will be pleasantly surprised when crossing the threshold of the entrance to find an airy interior with high ceilings, natural light, wooden accents and the combination of a trendy- almost gastropub sticking to the food truck theme (there is even a food truck motif behind the order counter) that feels like a party. Tacos al Tijuanense is not what you would expect from the outside! Tacos al Tijuanense is fast-casual meaning you order behind the counter and take a number to the table of your choice. After browsing the menu, my boyfriend chose a Quesadilla (13" tortilla filled with protein of your choice, jack cheese, cilantro and salsa with my boyfriend picking chicken - $13) and a Vampiro (toasted corn tortilla layered with jack cheese, choice of meat, onions, cilantro and salsa with al pastor - $3). For my order, I also went with a Vampiro but with chicken while also ordering Nachos to share with carne asada. When our plates arrived, we were surprised to see the size of the portions. Everything at Tacos al Tijuanense is large and in charge and they most certainly do not skimp! The fillings are overflowing with bright, fresh ingredients, toppings are numerous and the size overall makes everything shareable. My Vampiro was crisp with delicious guacamole that added a refreshing element and tender, tasty chicken. My favorite was my boyfriend's Quesadilla which was gooey, warm and perfect. You can't go wrong with a quesadilla! But we have to talk about the nachos because these nachos are HUGE! This is party size and could generously feed three people. The carne asada was heavenly and the chips tasted homemade. The only slightly "meh" factor was that the cheese atop the nachos was canned cheese and we would have preferred melted shredded cheese. This wouldn't have been such an issue had the canned cheese been in a rational amount but it seemed like a Costco-sized can poured onto these chips! These nachos were hidden under cheese glop! Regardless, they were still delicious. Tacos al Tijuanense holds true to its almost 40-year-old fame with affordable prices, delicious food, large portions giving you a bang for your buck and a surprisingly inviting ambiance. Tacos al Tijuanense is definitely recommended and the North Hills location is much recommended despite its odd plaza placement.
