Ambiance: it's a small burger place, located near the freeway, parking lot is so crowded to handle the volume of visitors, cars are often piled up on the street Service: friendly staff but slow in service during peak hours, it took quite a while to have the food ready Food: standard in-n-out menu Double-Double - **** two beef patties and two slices of cheese, paired with lettuce, tomato, onions, and signature spread on a toasted bun, fresh ingredients and solid quality, recommend Price: standard in-n-out food quality and price, expect about $10 per person for a quick meal

I've been visiting this location since it opened, though I've probably eaten inside fewer than 10 times. Today was a typical Saturday lunch rush. Service at the register was exactly what you expect from a solid chain friendly, professional, and efficient. The food was delicious and fresh, as always. The ambiance, however, was a bit of a zoo today. I nearly got into an altercation with an entitled customer at the register who was standing far outside the normal waiting area. After accidentally bumping into him, he responded with unnecessary attitude while waiting for his food. Nearby, another young beachgoing customer was walking barefoot throughout the dining room and using a water cup for flavored drinks, the footwear issue felt unsanitary. Parking is a nightmare here but that's expected at almost any California location. Overall, I'm giving 4 stars today, mainly due to factors outside the restaurant's direct control. That said, the lack of any enforced dress code and the consistently unpleasant smell in the men's restroom are concerns especially since employees also use it. Despite all that, I'll continue visiting this Oceanside location. The food and staff keep me coming back

It's the quality of it all! Service and food is always on point.

Food quality was great per usual and arrived fairly quick. Of course, the atmosphere was lovely and buzzing with people. The service provided by Alyssa was great! Now to the con...their drive thru is uniquely set up and inconvenient. And let's be honest most can be described as such, but this one was most difficult as we had issues parking and leaving.

This was honestly one of the best In-N-Out Burger experiences I've ever had. Even though there were quite a few people, the staff worked so efficiently that there were no lines, and my order was ready within just a couple of minutes. The tables and floors were spotless, and I was impressed to see employees walking around the dining area, checking in with guests and asking how everything was going. I've never experienced that at any other In-N-Out before! The restroom was also very clean -- and for me, that's often one of the most important indicators of how well a restaurant is maintained. After all, if the staff can't keep a customer restroom clean, how can you trust the kitchen? All in all, highly recommend this location.

Pulling into In-N-Out always feels like stepping into California tradition. The red-and-white vibe, the palm tree logo, the energy buzzing around the counter--it never gets old. We rolled in mid-afternoon and were greeted by one of the friendliest guys behind the register. He had that genuine "happy to see you" attitude, which instantly set the tone. I went for my usual Combo #2 (double-double cheeseburger) but couldn't resist dipping into the secret menu--yes, the legendary Animal Style Fries and a Tomato Wrap burger. The food didn't disappoint: juicy patties stacked with fresh lettuce and tomato, that melted cheese stretch, and fries drowned in grilled onions and their signature spread. It's messy, but that's the point. My girlfriend gave it a straight 5/5--she's obsessed. I'm leaning 4.5-5 only because the restroom wasn't exactly sparkling. Still, for $19.38 total for both of us, that's hard to beat in California. The dining room had that classic throwback feel--white tiles, neon sign glowing, and a mix of families, locals, and road-trippers like us. Even with the rush, food came out quick, fresh, and hot. Honestly, this place nails consistency. No matter which In-N-Out you land in, you get the same flavors that made it iconic. Final Take: Between the killer food, great service, and unbeatable price point, it's basically a 5-star stop. If you know, you know--and if you don't, order Animal Style next time and thank me later.

Our first stop when we land in California is always In-N-Out Burger! Gotta have that double double animal style! This location was very crowded when we arrived at lunch time. It took us a while to find a parking spot, but once we did we went inside to order where the staff quickly took care of us and our food was ready in just a few minutes. I was impressed with the number of employees working to make that happen. Our lunch was delicious.

    Burgers! Perfection.

The worst part about In-N-Out burger is....we don't have them in Washington! These burgers are fantastically delicious. The simple menu with endless options for personalization is so fun - you really can get whatever you want. I'm glad I did my research first so I knew what to order without looking like a total rookie. I had the double cheese burger, animal style, with extra cheese, and I haven't even bothered to try another burger somewhere else since because it was that good. The place was packed but the service was fast and everything was clean. The people working there all seemed genuinely happy. Overall it was a delightful experience for all of us.

Line always goes by fast, this spot is delicious. This location often puts cheese on my burger when I ask for no cheese, and they always forget my onions. It is okay because there are worse things but food is not cheap and next time I order will be extra specific.

I often stop at In N Out Burger wherever I might happen to be. Their burgers are exceptionally good and the prices are very reasonable. I found this particular location to be pretty typical of the chain. There always seems to be a steady stream of cars lining up at the drive thru and also the restaurant inside was going strong. This location was clean and neat and the food was consistent as you will find anywhere else throughout the chain.

Late night savior - after a long late night ride from LAX- Late hours worked to our advantage. We had some burgers ,fries and a drink all were absolutely the best. Extremely clean inside and the workers were very friendly and knowledgeable. Rylee R was a great cashier. Coming from the east coast we don't have any locations. So when available we go. Simply the best burger joint in the planet!! The bathrooms were a bit messy.

The burgers were phenomenal! The blue cheese was sooo good! The truffle burger was incredible! I thought the Better Mac would have been my favorite, and it was still good, but surprisingly, it wasn't my fave over the three. The chicken sandwiches are HUGE but I wished the tenders were tossed in the sauce/seasoning. They add the garlic parm on top of the tenders as they're assembled on top of the bun, so it doesn't completely coat the tender. IMO, it would be more flavorful tossed. However, the aioli sauces are just so delicious and to kill for! Even though this is also a smash burger leave, their burgers aren't thin and had a lot of bite to them! They're so worth it and hands down much better than across the street!

Such a fun, laid-back beachy vibe and the location is perfect. You can kind of see the water, but more importantly you can FEEL it. We walked along the pier afterward which was a great way to end the night. We were both pretty jet-lagged and I wasn't feeling my best, so we unfortunately couldn't eat as much as we wanted. The birria tacos were definitely the standout! Tender beef, cheesy, crispy on the outside and SO good. I would 100% get those again. I got the pollo asado taco bowl with cheese. The chicken and grilled veggies were fresh and good, but I found myself wishing it had something a little more substantial like rice. Nuzz got the carne asada mulitas and loved them. Very cheesy and he'd definitely order them again. We also got chips and guac, which was fresh and definitely worth ordering. The salsa wasn't really our favorite since we prefer it chunkier. You scan a QR code at the table to order and pay, which was pretty cool, and the food came out FAST. The staff was really friendly too, especially the guy who helped wrap everything up when he realized we weren't eating much. Bonus points for the Cokes in big glass bottles! The tap water, however... not so much It was kind of warm and definitely not my favorite. My only real disappointment? NO FISH TACOS! At the beach!! Definitely somewhere I'd go back to when I'm feeling 100% and really hungry. And those birria tacos are happening again!

This is by far one of my favorite places for Mexican food in SoCal. As a Cali Native now living in…read morethe great state of Texas, sometimes it's refreshing to step outside the land of Tex‑Mex and get the real deal again. Colima's hits that spot every single time. When you walk in, the person behind the counter greets you immediately -- and not the dry "hi, what can I get you?" type of greeting. You get a full "¡Buenos días, mija!" with that warm, almost‑grito energy that makes you feel like you just walked into your tío's spot instead of a restaurant. Super friendly, super natural, and very SoCal. I ordered the rolled tacos plate and wow... esa porción estaba gigante. I couldn't finish it. What I loved most was the meat; this is what meat is supposed to taste like. The beef was seasoned the way we grew up eating it: a little salty, a little savory, with that slow‑cooked tenderness that lets you know it didn't come from some pre‑bagged, mystery‑meat situation. You get hints of garlic, a little cumin, and that warm, almost toasty flavor that comes from meat that's actually been browned, not steamed. It tasted like someone's abuela was in the back saying, "No, no, déjalo dorar un poquito más. And the corn tortillas? Perfect. Thin enough to get that crisp roll, thick enough not to shatter. None of that flour‑tortilla‑trying‑to‑be‑crispy nonsense. These were crunchy, flavorful, and loaded. The toppings were just as good. The guacamole tasted fresh. You could taste the real avocado which was creamy, a little chunky, with lime that actually tasted like lime and not concentrate. The red salsa had a legit kick to it. It had hints of roasted chiles, was smoky and had a slightly bitter edge that tells you they actually roasted them instead of just tossing raw peppers into a blender. It wasn't tourist spicy; it was SoCal Mexican‑restaurant spicy, which is a whole different category. My partner ordered a breakfast burrito and honestly? That thing could've fed three people. It was massive, stuffed to the brim with cheese, egg, potatoes, and fresh bacon and exactly what a SoCal breakfast burrito should be: simple, hearty, and no shortcuts. Between the portions, the flavor, and the service that feels like home, this spot stays on my list every time I'm in Oceanside. If you're craving real Mexican food and not Tex‑Mex, pull up. You'll leave full and happy. #supportlocal
