I adored In-N-Out ever since I moved here. This location must have been the most fastest I ever got a order walking in. There seemed to have been 3-5 people who ordered ahead of us already waiting - but after we sat down to wait, a friendly staff asked for our number and told us that he'll grab it for us when we were ready. He came back another time just to confirm our take out order in a box and our preference for ketchup. Within what seemed to be 10 minutes or a really short amount of time- we got our order of double double, cheeseburger and fries. And we were on our way. Used to be a great In&n out and now they leave stuff out of your bag, rush you, then sloppy throw you meal know a box and send you on your way. Tys Burger is just as good for the same price. Food was really good! Cashier did not give me back my change. I handed her a few coins and I asked her twice for the rest of my change and she pretended to not hear me. I asked her again and she ignored me once more. I pulled up to the next window cuz traffic was starting to hold up but I never got my change in the end. Unacceptable. read more

Very quick to take my order. Got my order right and even asked me if I needed ketchup and sauce. I loved that they asked me if it was take out or eat in the car so they could give me little lap paper place mats, very thoughtful. I was on my way to the San Diego area, and I was feeling very famished! I made a quick stop here to In N Out. Fortunately, I came at a time when they were not busy at all. It was almost 10:00 PM, and most people here were local military personnel just getting dinner. I pulled in to the parking lot, and walked in. In a matter of ten minutes, I ordered, made a quick pit stop, got my food, ate, and was out the door. The place was clean, both in the dining area and in the restroom. The staff was super friendly, and the food was great. I'm glad the folks aboard Camp Pendleton have this great place to eat. read more

One of the newest locations in Oceanside and this store is amazing! They have yet to mess up my order. There is a lot of patio space including a nice inside sitting area. Located near the beach a lot of people stop by so it can be packed during times, but it is worth the wait. Something customizable that I do to my burger, I get whole grilled onions instead of prechopped grilled onions. I also order my burger mustard fried which automatically comes with pickles, if you don't like pickles you can still get the meat mustard fried without pickles. Customer service at this location is great, and the drive-through is incredible! If you're in this area near Coast Highway give this new location a try. read more

This is the In-N-Out at the far northwest corner of Oceanside along Coast Highway and close to the main gate for Camp Pendleton. We visited fairly late in the evening. This location seems to be overrun with strange clientele. One "patron" inside ordered no food, had a large dog under the table, and was clearly homeless. Several police cars making their rounds through the parking lot confirmed the area is probably not the greatest. And despite all of that, In-N-Out still delivered consistently delicious food like any other location. Everything we ordered was spectacular as always. read more

Others may disagree, but I think what makes this In-N-Out in particular stand out is its big stand-alone parking lot. Other spots don't always have their own separate lot, and with any In-N-Out it becomes crucial as I have yet to go to one with low traffic. The street to drive into this location's lot is a little shallow coming off from the main street, but that's true for a lot of buildings in the area. As always, the food is consistently good. A hidden bonus with this particular location is that, if you time your visit right, you can see an ocean view sunset, green flash and all. read more

This is a very efficient In N Out. Located right off the freeway, staff are hard working and courteous. The patio dining is huge and perfect if coming from the beach. Parking is tricky though as the drive thru takes up about a quarter of the spots when busy. You never go wrong with In N Out. If you havent had an in n out burger you really haven't had a real burger haha! These burgers are just the right size and they're always made fresh everyday. We come get our burger fix during our bike ride every week and if we want to change it up well take our in n out to the harbor and have a good time there too! I love this location. read more

Replacing the old Carrows location after years of abandonment. This classic In N Out serves a much needed portion of Oceanside, the coast. I mean where I live, I've got 2 In N Outs within 5 minutes drive, but for coastal Oceanside, it's almost faster for them to head to Carlsbad. It's actually windy here, I had $5 blow away while handing to the cashier, but luckily i'm stacked and didn't mind. I actually think that because it's downtown (not necessarily the most historically safe part of Oceanside and the proximity to a Strip club, which is also next to a hotel it sort of makes this unholy trinity of everything you need, amiright). Anyhow it's a great place and well designed with a wide lot to even allow for overlow on the line. You know when you work up an appetite nearby. What can I say the consistency in Walmarts being terrible is the same with all In N Outs being good. Service is good, food is what you think it is, this review won't change it, but I like it. The location lends itself to be seen by passing travelers from the 5, but you gotta be quick to turn off. Carlsbad location is much easier to not miss. Bathroom is clean, no vandalism yet. You are less likely to see youth hanging here on Fridays like at other In N Out locations. read more

I thought it was very clean walking in and my order of a vanilla milkshake was ready in minutes. The milkshake was excellent but the cup is small for over $2.50 making it a below average fast food value. The atmosphere, ambience there is definitely below average even for fast food restaurants as the seating is uncomfortable with mostly hospital looking white walls and decor(this may be the idea though to get people moving out faster; however I like all restaurants to have pleasant atmosphere and seating). So for food I give this location a 5 star but below 2 for atmosphere(also no napkins at each table or main order counter) and 2 star for fast food value(I give extra weight to value when evaluating any fast food establishment) My total score being a 3 star. On the way to San Diego on a Saturday afternoon when traffic on the I-5 is a crawl is making all four of us hungry. At the first opportunity to get off the freeway we saw the In-N-Out Burger sign. Perfect cause we all like the burgers and fries. We drive into the parking lot and wow, no open spaces. That means a long line inside. We decided the drive thru might be better. Oh well many cars in line as well, but some one is taking orders. So we got the cheese burger combos and my favorite chocolate shake. It didn't take too long to get our orders filled at the window. But we needed to find a parking space so we could eat....so lucky that a car pulled out. In-N-Out Burger in this location is very busy, but the food is on par and we would stop here again the next trip to San Diego. read more

Brand new in n out located right by our vacation home. The staff is on point here, every single member went above and beyond in every way possible. For starters we came shortly after 10 am, starving, expecting to have to wait a bit for them to open and were waved inside right away and greeted with huge smiles. Obviously well trained our burgers were perfect and done quickly. Can't beat the prices and quality, hands down the only burger chain I will eat beef at, they are consistent and a family staple for a cheap meal every month or so, great addition to the area!! read more
