Heresy, I'll accept the charge but I still fail to see the allure of waiting in long, slow drive-through lines for such pedestrian fare. If it wasn't for the Secret Menu options to at least make one's order slightly unique I'd have given up on this chain long ago. Riverside's primary (borderline only) location is an older type built for a time when the city had two-thirds less people was slightly retrofitted a few years ago when it should have been razed and rebuilt to accommodate more sit-in dining. The parking situation is also limited and I wish you good luck. What saves the store in question is that the crews are hard workers in cramped quarters with relentless quantities of customers at all hours of operation. For instance, they've never messed up any of my orders (unlike McDonald's). The key to avoiding a soggy mess of a burger is to get the buns toasted, and it seems like some effort was made recently to improve their fries which used to crumble into small chunks even when fresh. read more

Warning- waited in line an extremely long time in the drive thru for fast food . It was worth it though .Everything came out the way I wanted and tasted delicious . They make it to order. My choice was a regular burger fried in mustard with no lettuce or onion and animal style fries . The fries come in their own container labeled animal style with a fork and include their signature spread , cheese ,and grilled onions. There are two lanes at this location . I didn't see anyone using the outdoor seating so I'm not sure if that's available. This is still by far the slowest drive thru in n out line that I have ever been two. I start my stopwatch as soon as I get in line. It's been 15 minutes and only two cars in front me in line have been served. There's like 7 more to go in front of me. Look, we appreciate in and out's freshly made burgers. That's why we're in line at 1 am. But let's face it. You make burgers, not five-course meals. There's no reason that these lines shouldn't be moving. First order, cheese burger. This was my absolute worst experience I've ever had at an in n out. For starters the drive through took a really long time with barely any cars there. The fries were way over cooked, sounded like I was eating potato chips. The girl at the window was lost. Our order was wrong and they messed up just a patty with cheese, onion allergy. First they gave us two cheese less Patties. We told the girl at the window it was wrong. She was lost. Then they remade those and then they made them with grilled onion?! I specifically asked for onion allergy and they put grilled onions on them. It was barely a little but I had to throw the patty away as I can't feed my dogs onions. So they had a chance to redeem themselves and they failed. They also took forever on remaking the patty's and we had to get out of our car to ask for them at the window and once again girl was lost. I grew up eating In-N-Out and they remain consistent with their burgers no matter where you go. Meat was good, sauce was generous but not too much (yay no sogginess) and fries were hot and crispy. Don't forget to make that a meal to wash all this deliciousness down; they have good shakes and lemonades. It's cool how they got the double drive-thru action going on, but the speakers were broken when I went. I had to wait for someone to walk out and take the orders, which help up the line and it took longer than usual to get my food. The lady was on the bigger side of the scale too so you know she took her time. It wasn't too bad after I took a bite of my bomb ass Animal Style Cheeseburger! It's lit! read more

Props to all the In-N-Out places because they never mess up on my orders, big or small, I'm always satisfied with the quality of service and the food. Like any other busy In-N-Out joint, this place has very limited parking and outdoor seating. The drive-thru here is very short so if the line of cars is long, you'll usually be stuck in the middle of the street until the cars move up. Went here on 4/10/23 my gf and I ordered 2 #3's. Over 48 hours this was the only meal we ate that was the same. I mention that because about 1 hour after eating our food, both of us developed food illness like symptoms. She experienced it first and I a little while after. After calling out yesterday and today, I decided to see a doctor. The visit was for myself, and with the symptoms I described they said all were signs of food borne illness. If it were one day, I would have thought it was my stomach acting up, but several days and a doctor confirming, as well as my partner with the exact same symptoms, this can't be a coincidence. I've been here before, I haven't had problems, so this was very disappointing and alarming as I have never had food related illness from an establishment. Im hoping someone else from that day can confirm if they also experienced similar side effects from their visit. read more

This place is always full and for good reason. Although the meat is small the crispy lettuce and fresh tomatoes more than make up for the lack of meat in the basic hamburger. The fry's are cut fresh and consistent in flavor , just the right amount of seasoning. The drinks are pretty standard but the service is excellent and the staff very friendly. I got to my family's place a few hours early. So I did what any good cousin would do: take a bunch of my family members to In N Out. This In N Out location is smaller than other locations, and is serviced mainly by their two drive-thru lanes. There wait here was not long, as the staff were working hard to keep the line moving. They were efficient in their service, and got our orders right, in spite of us ordering very specific items. Parking can be a bit hard to come by, considering they have limited spaces available in this small lot. But this come with the territory. And we didn't have an issue finding parking that day. With friendly and efficient service, I give this place a much deserved 5-stars. read more
