In-N-Out is a very consistent establishment. No matter the store, you can count on quality food, great service, and an affordable meal! Seal Beach Store is one of my regular stops. It's very clean, and kept clean. Staff makes the food as ordered. I ordered my usual today, #1 with Fries Light well. Fries were perfect, justvas I ordered! Staff is very friendly and you can tell.theybare treated well. It's not a secret (like some of the menu items!) that In-N-Out pays their staff well! People actually want to.work there (usually many younger ones in school). They stand out from other fast food places yet their prices and food are better. The one thing I can say about In-N-Out is that the food is consistently fresh and of superior quality, no matter the location. This location is no exception. I usually order a Double-Double with cheese and no onions, and a chocolate shake. The prices are reasonable and actually cheaper than McDonald's. Imagine that! The service is fast and friendly, even though they can get very busy, especially during lunch hour. Most of the time, I order take out, and wait no longer than 10 minutes, if that. Just one time they didn't get my order exactly right, but I just let it go and attributed it to a fluke. Mistakes happen. The restaurant facility itself is very clean. I never saw any litter or mess anywhere each time I've gone there. I've never used the restroom but I have no doubt that it's immaculate. If there's a downside to this location, it's how they direct the queue of cars going through the drive-thru. If the line is long, it can affect the row of parking spaces immediately adjacent, and anyone trying to leave may not be able to, unless a courteous driver in the drive-thru line allows it. Overall, even though this particular location can get really busy, the service and food quality remain consistently high. read more

Made a night time stop while in the area after taking care of my dad in a nearby hospital. I hadn't been in this area for a few years, and didn't know there was an In-N-Out in Los Al until I drove past it. Of course, since I was hungry I just had to make a u-turn to get some food. Parking was easy to find; there's a large parking lot around the restaurant. However, I suggest not parking in any of the spaces near the lanes that lead to the drive thru area. In peak times, you'll have a difficult time leaving the parking space unless a courteous driver gives you room to get out. I had a difficult time leaving my parking space as I was trying to leave because a group of about 7 cars queued themselves up to the drive thru speaker and wouldn't let me get out. I decided I was going to eat inside, so I stood in a short line for what I thought was going to take a short time time for me to place my order. Apparently, the ten teens in line ahead of me were all friends of the one employee taking their orders. The employee wanted to know all about the party that his friends in line had attended while casually taking their orders. It seemed that the other three employees that I saw at the time working in the kitchen were also not in any hurry. I do have to note that the employee was friendly and efficient as he took my order. The restaurant was clean and the lighting was bright. Ordered a #1: Double-Double with onions, French fries and a medium drink. Got my empty cup and went to the self serve fountain drink dispensers to fill it up. It took about 10 minutes for me to get my order, picking it up at the counter after my number was called. The food was as I expected. Hot in temperature, fresh tasting, hamburger was delicious, and fries were partly crispy and partly soggy in textures. Good and filling! read more

We ordered supper to go last night now in n out is one of my favorites! I got the Flying Dutchman whole gr onions add pickles that was successful yum! Chz fries NO spread also success! Unfortunately my order was the only order that was correct except the fries weren't well done at all more a light fry the other two orders were a mess! In N Out still always satisfies. Continued warm, efficient service. The drive through lines can get long but they move more quickly thanks to employees assisting you with their order. They've added a few drinks to the menu, like pink lemonade and sugar free pink lemonade. I rarely order off the secret menu. Pro tip: if you get Animal Fries, they get soggy pretty fast. read more

ordered a burger with a whole GRILLED onion from this location and have basically gotten a raw onion put on my burger. Maybe try a different location if you like grilled onions because this location won't take the time to grill the onions. read more

They allow drive through customers to impede traffic on PCH. Orders takers literally will stand in the street to take orders while blocking traffic and Long Beach Transit busses. How many safety violations could that be? Employees get hit by moving vehicles abd or a bus can result in injury including death costing Liability to the City, In & Out. Hate to leave. Bad review for such a great company. But maybe by writing this upper management will look into this location and its process'. I went here at 10:30am to just get a plain cheese burger combo for my daughter before her swim class. With three cars in front of us it 25 minutes to get to drive up window. And then it took another almost 10 minutes to get the order. I can completely understand if this was the lunch rush or evening. Lines get long. But at 10 am I don't understand. To top it off the employee was not very friendly at all. Again, I hate to write this, my family has been going to in n out for over 20yrs and love the company and the family. And this is why they will continue to have my business. Literally the only fast food restaurant I've had in over 10 years. They use real beef, fresh cut fries, and they have the best customer service in the world as far as fast food goes!! So I went to pick up my normal order double meat no cheese spread only for Avalon. But when we got home there was cheese on it . She won't eat cheese lol but we had swim class in less than 45 minutes so there was no time to go back and have it fixed. I decided to call just to see what would happen and boom ! They apologized profusely and arranged for an upgrade to be sent out to me. They also gave me the option to return immediately to the restaurant but like I said I had not time for that. Once I got the mail (only 2 days later) instead of one meal upgrade there were two!! While I understand that it's popular, this seemed a little slow for a non-peak meal time. So much for being "fast food". Make sure you don't park near the drive thru so you don't get stuck in your space. Luckily this place is located in a shopping center, so there are plenty of places to park. In-N-Out doesn't ever disappoint however this was a little out of character. We ordered just after opening and I'm thinking the staff wasn't awake yet (all teenagers). No catchup in the dispensers and napkins were stuffed so full in the holder I had so take way way more than needed. We ordered animal fries and maybe had 5 bites. The cheese wasn't melted and fries were soggy. My daughter and I ordered cheese burgers with lite onions and instead the burgers had full onions. Honestly I don't know what happened with this location they use to be good but lately they have been lacking a lot I try to give them the benefit of the doubt but its not worth it. I went through the drive thru waited a good 20 min only for them to tell me my order wasn't in the system so I had to go park and wait other 10- 15 min for my order and I saw 4 cars drive off with there food. The lettuce and tomatoes are always a very high quality. For condiments I get catsup and a side of spread . There is truly not a more consistent , quality burger and fry's on the planet. This location has always been very clean inside and out, food is great and we always get our order fairly fast, even when they are busy. Sometimes the fries do not meet my satisfaction, sometimes to raw and sometimes to crispy, but we have experienced this at other locations also. Not the same burger of yore. Smaller, drier and less tasty. Like all others before them, progress means less for more. No fast food restaurant would survive without employing that tactic. But alas, Jack In The Box, our savior, has come to our rescue by creating the Jack Smashed burger. In all its iterations, it is clearly superior to what In N Out is offering.
