We have eaten at approx 25 locations and they never disappoint until this location . Our burgers were raw and the location was to busy to take back and wait again as we were pressed for time so we just threw them away . We also ordered onions and neither burger had them . We are so use to consistent good food from IN-N-OUT that we were very disappointed from this location. Sadly, I live on the Right Coast and only occasionally make it West to indulge in the In N Out Cult Worship. Still, I pay homage to the great Burger deity with at least one visit on each trip.. This time, I am in Temecula and found this slider emporium on Yelp. It is a newer facility and it took a few seconds for me to find the Drive Through lane. Once I did, I was in the capable hands of Melinda, who was calm, collected, friendly, and asked a question I had never been asked before on the line; "Will you be eating in your car?" No, was my reply. "Then, we will package it for you to go, rather than auto-ready." I don't know what the bag would have looked like if I said I was eating in my car, but when I got to the hotel, everything was geometrically packed neatly in the bag. That is, except for the fries, which were overflowing the cardboard flat bottom dish and completely filled the bottom. I think she just dumped the entire fry basket into my bag. What a pleasant surprise. The Double Double was great. The Van Shake was a little over sweet, but that is not really a complaint, and the fries kept me company long after everything else was gone. Its a good in-n-out, but not my favorite. This location is the first in Temecula, and is a little bit dated, but is well kept, as is common with in-n-out locations. The food is your good, expected, in-n-out burgers. Not the best burgers in the world, but is no slouch. When combined with their low prices, its always a good idea to eat here. Normally, my experiences here are trouble free, but the last time I got a burger/fries to go, the bag was see-through by the time I got home, and I had a nice oil stain on my car floor mats. (Thank goodness I didnt put them on my seat!!!!!) Normally, in-n-out locations get a 4/5 star rating, but this one doesn't meet the standards other locations have raised the bar to. read more

This is the number one In N Out if you are traveling up the 15N to Riverside/San Bernadino/Palm Springs. It's right past the border check point coming out of the San Diego County area. I've eaten here a dozen times in the five years I've been in southern california. It's always a decently pleasant experience. Consider, if you will, that this In N Out is next door to a freaking arby's and you might begin to have an appreciation for what it represents. Clean, quick, efficient and yummy! Walked here from my hotel room. As a California resident, I already know what to expect when I eat out In-N-Out and my stop at their Temecula location wasn't any different. I'd like recognize one employee in particular (though they're all great and hard-working). Krysta stopped by table while I was waiting for my order. She asked if everything was okay and I said yes. She asked if she could get my order for me and I said sure. I gave her my number and less than a minute later she was back with my food. Several minutes later she checked on me again and refilled my drink for me. Came by once more to make sure everything was going well. As I ate I could see Krysta checking on every guest; taking trays away, getting children paper hats, and offering other guests order pickups / refills just the way she had with me. Doing it all with an authentic smile and warm, friendly personality. She's the embodiment of what In-N-Out (or any customer service oriented company) envisions as their dream employee. I didn't get a chance to thank her for her great service because she was taking care of everyone but I hope someone within the company sees this and gives her the recognition she deserves. Place is good, everything tastes fresh. It's always really crowded but they seem to do a good job getting everyone through in an orderly fashion. If I were you I would go inside as the wait always seems a little shorter and eating in your car blows. Seriously, I see so many people eating in their cars in the parking lot alone.
