The place was a madhouse, first off, it is expected for a lunch rush. However, watching them, they dish out the entire line lickity-split, so the wait didn't even feel that long. My stomach couldn't even get to complain! The food was actually pretty stellar, especially for a fast food joint where most of the time it is a sad, sad experience. Anyone rating a Canes less than a 5 is having a horrible time with the staff. Personally, Popeyes is far worse and I've had raw chicken from them, but when those chicken strips come out right they hit hard and Canes is no different. Even though its a fast food joint, I still come to find I can't get enough of it. This past week my husband and I have been twice...woops. Trust us, we are trying to support our locals, but this chicken hits home. Every time we have been this week I've been so immersed in the smell I can't stop to take a picture. Hence why I only have a picture of the drive thru! I want to commend the team at the Raising Cane's in Broomfield for their service. They are extremely quick even during the dinner rush. It took a total of 11 mins for the entire drive thru line, AMAZING. Yes like I said I know they are fast food, but I do appreciate when I burn my mouth on the first bite I take. Something I wish they had, and have jokingly suggested to every employee is to make a "spicy" version. My husband and I are on two different sides of the spectrum, he is a total sweet tooth and likes his chicken on a sweeter end (like chick-fil-a) whereas I like a punch of heat! The chicken is also fresh and piping hot the minute we get it. The fries are your typical crinkle cut and not special, but what stands out: TEXAS TOAST! I'm not a huge fan of coleslaw so my husband and I sub it out for an extra toast so each of us gets one. 100% worth it. Depending on how we feel; we usually get the Caniac Combo! It comes with 6 strips, a large drink, and three sides: it is pre-chosen as a texas toast, fries, and coleslaw (look above for what we do) + 2 sauces If not the "Box" combo is their most popular and still filling with 4 strips, three prechosen sides, and a medium drink + one sauce The reason my husband and I get the Caniac Combo is because of the extras, but in reality its also so we can have our own sauce!!! The sauce makes everything amazing and perfect and I feel like I could live off of it. If you only get one in your combo, get an extra if you are sharing with a partner, it's worth it and you'll thank me later. The drinks are standard, but lets be honest; get the SWEET TEA! I still don't think it's the best chicken, and I wish I could get ranch or another sauce with less/no sugar. Thankfully, I did discover they also have hot sauce! Louisiana Hot Sauce, no less. Of all the common chicken finger joints, especially the numerous chains found in the Southeast, Raising Cane's is at the bottom of the list for service, taste and quality. The only reason they seem to do "well" in Colorado is because they don't have the GOOD chicken finger chains to compete with them. Bring in some Zaxby's or Foosackly's to the area, and you'll soon find out what good chicken fingers are and how the concept and service should be done. Raising Cane's is a joke. Every time we visit here, it takes forever to get our food. Again, this is most likely just the sheer number of people in Westminster/Broomfield and surrounding areas coming to eat here that pushes the clock against them to get food out quickly. When our food does arrive to us, it's greasy as hell and isn't seasoned worth a hoot. Salt & pepper packets and that Cane sauce are your BFFs here. It's kind of a bummer when it's easily $20-$25 for lunch for two, and the food is subpar at best while the staff you have to interact with is even worse. They seem to have no regard for cleanliness or good customer service. I'm happy to spend my money elsewhere as Raising Cane's doesn't deserve it. read more

I got a sweet tea that was flipping fantastic! I haven't had good sweet tea in a whole and now I was a gallon of this stuff. Do they sell it inside by the gallon or half gallon? I didn't go in. I went through the drive through that looked really long. It was probably the fastest I've ever been through a drive through! The girl was very nice and said something really fast about their chicken packing a punch like Chuck Norris KaPow! (she said KaPow and it was EVERYTHING in me not to laugh hysterically!) the only times I stopped moving in the drive through were to pay and get my food. Other than that my car had to keep moving! They would be really good either way some type of optional seasoning on them. My o my complaint is the sauce is mayonnaise based and I absolutely hate mayonnaise . Please off another sauce that is not made from mayo and you'd have my business more often and get a 5 star. Last, the menu is very basic. It's only chicken fingers, fries, coke flaw and bread. That's it. No grilled chicken, no salads, no healthy options. Don't go here expecting to feel like you just did your body good - you won't. It's crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I don't do cole slaw so I can't judge it either, but the Texas toast slightly grilled is a highlight of the meal for me. The crinkle cut fries are also delicious and perfectly salted. I prefer my fries a bit crisper but it's not so bad that I don't still enjoy them. My beverage was sweet tea that tasted fresh and well sweetened. This location has decent parking but they definitely get busy during peak hours so plan to wait or go during slower times. The dining room was open, very clean, employees were masked and I observed also executing proper cleaning/safety procedures while going about their work. It's always backed up and you can just walk in, order and get out by the time you'd even make it to the ordering window. If you don't even know what a Caniac is, still go inside. Canes only serves like 5 things - chicken tenders, fries, Texas toast, coleslaw, sweet tea and SAUCE. Yes, sauce is it's own menu item (especially when you pay extra for it). Canes food is all really a vehicle for their peppery sauce. Its delicious. Pro-tip: order 2 sauces with the three finger combo so you don't run out. The tenders themselves are the second star of the show; always juicy and taste fresh - none of this heat lamp stuff. Crinkle cut fries have just the right ratio of crisp to fluff. Don't skip the toast, but definitely eat it last to soak up the remainder of the sauce.
