Please don't judge me...cooking is definitely not my forte! I'm at this In-N-Out at least 3 times a week. I must say that most of the time there is a bit of a long line, but it does go fast. I always go through the drive thru and out of the like 250 times I've been there I've only had 1 issue. It was a minor thing too, I made a large order and they forgot 1 order of my fries. Other than that, the employees have always been friendly and the food has been good! Oh and by the way...I asked my teenage daughter to take a picture of the food but to make sure it looked good. Great place to grab a bite when you get the munchies when you're drunk! Im surprise its a full house of employees at this time, and yet the bathroom isn't that tidy upon walking in at first to wash my delicate hands before falling in line to order something off of the menu. Excuse my thought process if Im all over the place... But I'll give this thorough review a shot before I forget tomorrow morning, oh wait, today is tomorrow morning its 12:13am. LOLOL! OK.... So, I was greeted by Jessica, I think thats her name. Omg, she has the most amazing-est accent ever... She even told me I have a great accent too that captivated her soul and made her day better. Omgeee! IM flattered now. Joey's hella blushing... I asked her if I can tip her for such a great service, and she said no. OMG! :'( Feelings hurt.... Fast forward 3min later... I asked for a Double Double with hella onions mixed with raw and grilled onions too, with hella tomatoes, 2 leaves of lettuce... And thats how I like my crabby patty made, with my fries crispy too... Oh, make that a meal, because I want soda with it... And she laughed at me, since what i ordered is considered a meal already instead of ordering it at individual items to save me $$... What a darling! She thought of me... Anyways, as I sat down, about 5-8min later, she called my name like a guardian angel. It was the most softest, yet loudest captivating voice I have ever heard which definitely caught my attention. To top it off, she even offered me her spread. I'll show you what it looks like on the pics... Its so heavenly. OMG! Foodgasm to the max in my mouth.... As I sat down, I magically devoured my burger like it was nothing. This was a mistake to come here. Should've drove to Modesto or gone anywhere else. Our order was given to the car in front of us and we had special requests. They remade ours without the request and we had waited so long to get it that we just took off. It was such a madhouse and you could feel the frustration with all the people and cars. Born and raised in Boston and never experienced an In-N-Out Burger. Very clean inside and fantastic operation. The burgers are so cheap and tasty, and they offer lettuce wraps which are healthier and keto friendly. The customer service is very friendly and personable. I went there the other day and had my dog with me. Long story short, I'm moving and he was in my car, all day, with me. I have always loved their food, but when I ordered for my pup the kind worker immediately told me about a meat patty for my dog. Disclaimer: it isn't free like puppachinos are, just so Karens can't harass the staff. She was so kind and sweet, even told me what the ingredients are, unprompted. OK... so, I am from the East coast... we don't have In-n-Out there. The closest one to me is probably in Austin, TX... about 1,000 miles away from home. As such, I have never had the experience that is ordering and eating at one of these establishments. However, this past month I took a road trip across the country, and of course as soon as I got into the West, these restaurants started to show up here and there. Now, when I travel, I try to avoid chain stores like the plague... I want to experience the local flavor of wherever I happen to be. In this case I conceded that In-n-Out IS the local flavor, since we do not have them anywhere close to where I live (at least, not yet... come on In-n-Out... you can expand into the I-75 or I-95 corridor!) So a lunch in the middle of California it was for me. Now, by this time (and by the rating I have given) you can guess that I was quite impressed with this place. I mean, when a person who prefers local places over chains is quietly demanding that a chain invade their area, you know it must be good. I walked in, and was impressed with the simplicity of the menu. I know, all you West coasters are accustomed to it, but out here on the East coast, where people have not seen the menu, it needs to be explained. There are, effectively, four items on the menu: Burgers, Fries, Shakes, and drinks. That is it. Now, the burgers are somewhat customizable, with double burgers, triple burgers, etc. but that is about it. A simple menu, a great meal. I ordered a pair of Double-Double's, some fries, and a drink. The order came out relatively quickly, and I sat down outside (bless California weather... in Florida I would have stayed inside away from 90 degree temperatures and 90% humidity) to eat... and it was wonderful. Really, if you have a chance, stop at one of these and have a burger... it is the way to go! read more

I've eaten at several In-N-Out burgers in my time, and they're all pretty much the same. This one had the usual long line in the drive thru (it was 2:00pm), but they had someone taking orders outside, so that sped it up quite a bit. I always get my burger animal style and (just an opinion) the fries are only good if they're done animals style too. I appreciate that the fries are fresh, but they're terrible without some cheese, grilled onions, and spread. This location had friendly staff and was located in a pretty big shopping center so there was plenty of places to park and eat. I also liked that they weren't stingy with the spread on my fries! I usually have to ask for extra packets, but not here! Overall, it's In-N-Out burger. You can't really go wrong with it. read more

I've been to many In-N-Outs but this store always impresses. The fact that there is a line where people fight to have an advantage to receive their burgers before others says a lot. Folks will try to sneak in line and a flurry of 50 cars at the other stop sign will honk to make the wrongdoer find another way to get to their burger sooner. I used to work for this location and it has not changed a bit in the last twenty years. The manager is still super friendly and the staff are as well. The food of course is absolutely hot, fresh and delicious. I love Susana and how she always greets everyone and is constantly making sure the dining area is stocked and clean. Just before 10 p.m., there are few places to go to get a bite to eat, unless you want to use a drive-thru, and eat in your car. This In-N-Out is open until 1:30 a.m. Just across from Target, this is an easy location, especially if you're coming from Safeway, Old Navy, or Bed, Bath, & Beyond. The service was friendly. There weren't many customers inside the dining room, but they were really pushing to get the drive-thru orders out. The soda fountain worked fine, and we waited quite a while for the food. The food was lukewarm. The taste was fine, but it seemed as though they prepared it a while back, and left it to sit before calling our order number. read more

Obviously the food is awesome but I'm very upset on the fact that we had been in line for 20 plus min. & if you been here you know there a huge drive thru line we'll when the line moved a van pulled in from the lights and cut the line with at least 10 cars or more. All the cars started to honk I called a worker to informed him and the other worker came to say " sorry we don't enforce the line we can't do anything about it but to hope they don't do that" they went to apologize to the other cars instead of removing the vehicle? Every since covid the drive-thru has been packed at this location. Every time I drive by I see a long line going down the block. I have been one of those people waiting in the long line to satisfy my craving for In n out. Even though they have a long line it moves pretty quickly. What's going on at this Turlock location? We have been coming here for years but have noticed things slipping in the last six months. Maybe they are too busy? I guess the new Ceres location might remedy that. The line is long but was usually been worth the wait. Not lately. I will say that staff taking orders outside are efficient and amazing, but staff at the payment and pickup window are hit and miss. No one repeats the order back anymore so there is no confirmation of our order. It's almost like they just want us out of there. Food has been inconsistent. Fries have been cold. On our last trip we asked that two orders of fries be bagged up when we arrived at the pickup window (so they would be hot). The bag was hot but staff put the tray of nice, long golden crispy fries on top and the bottom tray was filled with end pieces that were discolored and soaked with oil. They were disgusting. Cheap shot. Also, our burgers were cold. Honestly, I don't think this review will make a difference, but wanting to share to validate any other cases where people have paid hard earned money only to be served inconsistent and poor quality product. Just rolled thru at 6:03 pm New Years Eve. I got my order and specifically asked if the fries were in the bag. I did not want to take up time to sort thru and hold up the mile long line. The young man smiled sweetly and said they were. I got home and of course they weren't. Not a big deal but after waiting a half hour in that line, it was disappointing. Chocolate shake had no flavor. Eh. It's okay. I mean, when it first opened up here in this location in Turlock, it was great! Probably because I was bored of McDonald's, Wendy's and Burger King. My son loves it so when he begs to go, I order my usual hamburger (or cheeseburger, depending on my mood ), fries & a soda. Last two times we went, fries were cold and bland. Hamburgers/cheeseburgers always fall apart and it seems like there's more bun than meat. I can make this crap better at home - or better off @ Chili's next door. Employees who take our order are always friendly. This place is so popular though, so expect about the same wait you would at a restaurant like Chili's. Also... used to LOVE the shakes - however, both vanilla and strawberry tasted weird last time we got them as if they didn't fully flush out the cleaner out of the machine? My husband and I are from Texas, all of the Cali locals have been raving to us about In-N-Out burgers. They hyped it up so much that we decided to check it out. The restaurant itself was clean and well maintained. Let me start off by saying that the food was fresh and the service was great. Unfortunately, we were not the least bit impressed with the taste of the food. It was underwhelming even having it "animal style" and all. I appreciated the fact that the fries were freshly made on site but there just wasn't anything special about them. I'm sorry but I just don't get what the hype is all about. Am I missing something?
