My family and I really enjoy eating at Habit, and it's one of our favorite fast-food restaurants. The food is consistently good and meets the quality standards we expect from the brand. The reason I'm leaving this review is because I hope this location can improve in one area: cleanliness in the dining room. I visit frequently, and unfortunately, almost every time I come, many of the tables are dirty, sticky, or have not been wiped down. It has become something I expect whenever I visit this location. I understand the staff always seem busy, and this may be due to staffing shortages or other challenges. Everyone appears to be working hard, so this is not meant as criticism of the employees. However, the dining area could definitely use more attention throughout the day. I still enjoy coming here because the food is great, but it's disappointing that one of my favorite places often has cleanliness issues in the seating area. I hope management can address this, because with a cleaner dining room, this location would be outstanding. This has got to be the slowest fast food restaurant around. I'm currently sitting in line at the drive-through and it's been 14 minutes since I placed my order and there's only three cars in front of me. The same car sitting at the window is still sitting there when I ordered my food. The lady in front of me already got out of her car and is looking ahead trying to figure out what's going on as well. The parking lot is fairly empty and it's 4:20pm. All I ordered was two milkshakes. I hope they didn't start making them yet because if they did I guarantee they're gonna be melted. read more

Not sure why I keep trying this, this is my 3rd try and it just keeps getting worse. I guess I'm hoping it's gonna change because they used to be one of the best but now, they're the worst fast food place in turlock. I hardly ever leave a bad review, even if it was warranted, but somebody has to say something, these people just don't care. First off, I needed to order at the register bc I had to pay with cash. At least 5 minutes went by with staff looking at me as if they were waiting for me to give up and use the kiosk. Not even one fake smile service wise, ordered 2 Korean burgers no tomato and 2 chicken bites, and a salad to go. Food finally done and asked for 2 extra ranch, had to pay .65 cents ea for it. Got home, both burgers had tomato on them. A tiny burnt patty, hardly bigger than a McDonald's cheeseburger for 10 bucks. Korean chicken bites tasted like Tyson frozen soaked in way too much sauce, chicken hard and dry. This place must be losing money hand over foot and their solution is making customers more and more miserable. Don't even try and tell me "but they're short staffed!". If you can't provide the bare minimum in food quality and at least a tiny bit of service that doesn't include you looking like you'd rather be dead than working there, then just close up already. Habit is one of my kids favorite place so when we stopped by when we were out of town. We figured drive through would be easier since there was only about 2 cars in front of us. Boy were we wrong. Took forever just to get to the order screen, about 10 minutes. The screen was broke so we couldnt even ensure the order was coreect. After that another 10-15 minutes to get to the window to pick up our window. Once there we had to wait another 5 minutes to get our food. Not the best experience we had. We got home and kids ate it. Quality of food was not the same standard as we were used to. Chicken nuggets were try and cheeseburger was messy. I would recommend Habit in general, just not the location if your looking for true Habit quality food and fast service. read more

Got my food and my burger had onions. I walked in with my receipt in hand SHOWING NO ONIONS. They proceeded to argue with me and told me that I asked for onions even with my receipt in hand. No tomatoes no pickles. onion rings Fries chicken bites 10 piece. My double char burger was fantastic. These burgers are always well portioned and juicy and fresh. The bacon was crispy and the fries were crispy and fresh as well. We absolutely love their chicken bites. They pair so well with the kaboom sauce they offer. Always hot, crispy and moist. Our favorite side will always be the onion rings. They are great in size crispy and not greasy at all. Best onion rings hands down. We will absolutely come again when we want a burger. Quality is always the top priority at this location and customer service is always impeccable. The staff is always fantastic, they are always friendly and approachable. Went through the drive-through, ordered the charbroil hamburger with no cheese and no fries. I got my burger, It had cheese and fries. The burger had an extra gross amount of mayonnaise that covered up any charbroil flavor that may have been there. It honestly was the worst burger I've had in years. The habit gets a 2 star rating for a few reasons. The first reason is the absolutely terrible drive thru. I don't even know why they offer it. It's so slow, it's ridiculous. The second reason for a low rating is the prices. They are absolutely delusional with these kinds prices when in n out is 30 seconds away, cheaper and 100x better. Just picked up food for our first time. I got the santa Barbara char and onion rings/tempura green beans. Husband got the French onion char, tempura green beans, onion rings and sweet potato fries. The kids got a nugget meal and a burger meal. Kids burger comes with just ketchup, so I had to add cheese, tomato, pickles and mayo. I like the Santa Barbara char. It's a decent size burger and plenty for me with left overs. The sides we're all cold. Tempura green beans, onion rings and sweet potato fries all kinda frozen in the middle, so that was disappointing. Yet, he also got burned fries. Husband said the French onion burger was alright. Normally, I really like the Habit. Today though, I was as annoyed as hell with my experience. We walked in on a Wednesday evening for a quick dinner, or so we thought. The place was empty. Literally 1-2 other customers when we came in, and they were already eating. We ordered and sat down to wait. From the beginning, we could hear all the laughing and socializing going on between all the staff. I'm not against having fun at work, but it was ridiculously loud. Not professional at all. Sure, it's just the Habit but still. While we were waiting, listening to all the goofing off, we also had no choice but to listen to an employee who was on break, sitting two tables away, having a conversation on speaker phone. It's annoying enough to hear one person, but we had to hear both of them. The whole conversation about going to the fair and how the fair in Turlock sucks. Nobody wants to hear someone else's conversation, especially on speakerphone, while they're trying to have dinner. We were relieved then she told her friend that her break was over and she had to go back to work. We waited quite a while for our food, despite the fact it was empty inside. Figured it was all the goofing off that was causing the delay. This was confirmed when our food arrived. Burnt hamburger buns and cold soggy fries. My husband returned it and asked for it to be remade. It was, and it was much better, but suddenly the annoying employee was somehow back on break, back on the phone, and this time it was better. By time we got home about 5 mins away if even that our burgers were cold & soggy, drinks were watered down. Such a disappoint $30 for 2 meals & we didn't even enjoy our food. Food was out of this world. My situationship took me on a date here and I want to get married here. Not only was the food great but so was the customer service . Very quick and easy to order as well especially with the kiosks. Place looks spotless. Will definitely come here more often with baelani. Apparently you can not call and get a person to fix a mistake they made. Mistake was made not happy but trying to fix the issue was an entire issue on its own. You call and you get an automated system telling you to go online and submit the issue. I tried to get there phone order person but they didn't ever Acknowledge the issue or she can not help she kept repeating go online under contact us. So i got a bun with no Meat for lunch, back at work I can not even get it corrected. Went online and tried to submit issue twice and it submitted it before I could finish the form.
