Nick the Greek was amazingly good! Ordered online- super simple- you are able to customize what you would like with your gyro, or plate! Ordered the Beef/Lamb Gyro, the Gyro plate with Beef/Lamb, Nick Fries, and their Plain Donuts. Everything was fresh, so good! We will be ordering again as it has became one of our fav spots! Last time we ordered the Froyo, which was the Greek Yogurt with Baklava shavings and honey- 10/10 recommend all that I reviewed! We will be back! read more

I'm happy I took a chance and tried Nick the Greek. I had their lamb/beef gyro with a side of Greek fries, and it was exactly what I was craving. The meat was rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, loaded up with all the traditional sauces and fixings. They even Added some fries into the gyro which gave it a nice texture. The baklava was also really good. Sweet, flaky, and not overly heavy. Definitely recommend giving them a try, and don't be shy about loading your gyro up with all the fixings. read more

I am traveling through town and ordered from DoorDash. I considered a chain salad, but took a chance with Nick the Greek. I had the Greek salad...it has english cucumbers, grape tomatoes, red onions, bell peppers, feta cheese tossed in a homemade vinaigrette. It was absolutely delicious! WOW! I added a steak kabob as a side....it was cooked perfectly for me. I will be back in town on Friday and I plan to visit the restaurant in person and explore other menu items. I've been to the other Nick the Greek restaurants in the Peninsula, and this Vacaville location is by far the best. So much more meat in the bowls compared to the other stores, which was a pleasant surprise, and the presentation was much nicer. The location was clean and the staff friendly. Just finished lunch at Nick the Greeks and as usual it was great! I had the lamb and beef Gyro! For some reason they add French Fries to the Gyro, and I just ask them to put them on the side, which they happily do. The pita bread was nice and soft and fresh as were the onions and tomatoes! The lamb and beef meat was delicious! Fries are great too, just prefer them on the side. Service was quick and the restaurant was very clean! The staff was also very nice! Hi-ya! We've been to a couple of Nick the Greeks and they are consistent with service and the food. Both pretty darn solid and it keeps us willing to come back. TBH the pricing is higher than I like from a fast food, but the food is really good, just portions are a little light. We tried the Dubai chocolate desert, it was ok. The baklava was ok (my bad if spelling off), but overall food better than deserts. We typically get the plates with the beef and lamb. Overall good place, and fast service. read more

So it's been three years since I wrote a review. This place has never been bad except for late last night. Sadly, the gal gave the worse customer service. The gyros were greasy like never ever before. Incredibly disappointed!! Woke up this morning still disgusted because I was starving from traveling home and made a pitstop to my favorite place. Maybe I am biased because I love Mediterranean food, but the Gyro Bowl was delicious! My kids shred the Gyro Fries, and they were also top notch. My wife had a wrap, and she enjoyed it as well. First impression is that the service was not good. The man at the register was rude and very hard to hear. When asked if he could repeat something he was irritated. The food was just ok. Might have not been the right choice, but it was underwhelming with blah flavors. The Diet Pepsi was good though. It was a large area, decently clean, but the music was very loud. Not the restaurants fault but a family came and sat right next to us and had brought food from home to eat. Only the "dad?" Of the group got food. It wouldn't have been a big deal, but their children were sitting on the table and misbehaving, being loud and running around the restaurant. Will not be returning here. read more

The staff were nice. The location was clean and welcoming. The food portions here would be what I would like to see them improve on. Compared to other locations that we eat at they seem to be frugal with their portions. Especially their Greek yogurt ice cream, the one we bought barely reached over the lip of the cup and that was just the middle mound. I wish I had taken a picture of it before we ate it. My husband, & I came here Tue around 2pm to meet our friend for a late lunch. The parking lot was totally crowded since it was Veteran's Day. We placed our order up at the register, then sat at one of the high top tables. I went with a Veggie Pita $12.50 and an order of Hummus w/ Pita $7.95 which were both quite yummy. My first time here, I ordered the Beef/Lamb Gyro. It came like a classic gyro, shaved meat, red onions, French fries, tomatoes, and tzatziki sauce. From the aroma that came out of my to-go bag, I was sold. I opened it up and the presents was perfect. A nice, well wrapped Gyro, full of flavor! Every bite was heavenly. I would give 5 stars except for one thing - a very SKIMPY amount of SHREDDED feta cheese. I have never seen shredded feta on a Greek salad in my life!
