    The sandwich combo

Our oldest got a gift card for Raising Cane's from his volunteer work with a program, and we decided to try it with him. We ordered our food online so it would be ready when we got there. It was very busy and a bit hectic when we walked in, but that can be expected on a weekend. We were able to snag a booth that had just had the table cleaned, but they failed to clean the bench, which had food all over it. After cleaning it ourselves, we had to still wait a while for our order. This was frustrating because we purposely chose to order online and chose a time so we wouldn't have a long wait. Once we finally got our order, we were hungry. My husband and oldest both got the box combo, which comes with 4 chicken fingers, fries, Texas toast, and coleslaw. My husband said everything should've had more crisp to it. Even the toast wasn't toasty. Our youngest got the kids meal and he said it was pretty good. I got the chicken sandwich meal. The chicken was very tender which was good, but the bun should've been toasted or something. It was very soggy once I got it, and I don't like soggy food. As for their famous sauce, we all thought it was pretty good, our oldest loved it. We will return again in the future but probably not as often as other places.

Excellent tenders and toast - fries ok - special sauce is different - but its usually so busy that its impossible to find a parking spot unless its a midweek afternoon. Nut Tree area is a regular stop for me between Laguna West and the bay - this is the perfect mid point to fuel up or eat or take a rest - usually I avoid Raising Canes as the drive through line and lack of parking but today I happened to come in during a midweek afternoon. Tenders and sauce and toast are all outstanding. The sauce is different. People go crazy over the sauce - same way they do about the toast. My mind wandered as to what was in this special sauce. I love sauce - at home I don't think I could live without my Pliny Sauce and I think the sauce here is outstanding. Outdoor seating also special here. There is tons of it. Very comfortable places to consume your meal. The dining room is filled with upbeat music and disco balls and larger than life image billboard cutouts of a popular country singer with his charitable work partnering with this restaurant. I loved my experience today - it was fast and delicious and if it wasn't for the odd mid week afternoon - it wouldn't have been what it was. Interior was spotless and cashier was friendly. This particular visit was 5 stars but when its especially busy - its not as pleasant and I usually go next door to In N Out. Lots of clean air vehicle parking and very close to the highway exit. If you haven't even tried it once yet I think you should... Get the tenders - not the sandwich so you can taste the French toast. Sat in a comfortable booth next to Elvis. Very nice.

"The Box" 4 piece chicken crispers, fries, coleslaw, Texas toast and sweet tea!

First time having Raising Cane's and let me just say... I GET THE HYPE! (I wholeheartedly loved my first visit) a few things... Cane's drive-thru system: Think In-N-Out meets Chick-fil-A! What looks like organized chaos that moves faster than your favorite playlist. Don't be fooled by the line; blink and you're at the window with hot food in hand. Now let's talk about dem CHICKEN CRISPERS: crispy, flavorful, and somehow not as greasy as anticipated m?! This had me questioning everything I thought I knew about fast food. Siiiiiiiides... come out to slayyyy! - Coleslaw? Cool and creamy--perfect contrast - Crinkle cut fries? Yes please, with extra "mmm." - That Texas toast?? Game changer, GAWD DAMN. ...and the sweet tea--yes, the Ice-T sweet tea (because apparently he's the spokesperson??)--was peak refreshment. Just the right level of sweet without giving me a sugar coma. Moral of the story: Raising Cane's is not just hype--it's a whole lifestyle. Pull up, trust the process, and sip that tea like an OG.

It's been a while since I've gotten Cane's freshly fried (~2 years). I frequented several of their locations in SoCal during undergrad. This is my first time going to one of their Northern California locations. I've heard Cane's is so much better in SoCal but I decided to put that to the test. This was a smaller location but definitely mighty. It is right next to an In-N-Out and about .4 miles from the outlets. My boyfriend was excited as it was his first time trying Cane's. We went on Saturday at around 3:30pm and there weren't too many people. We both ordered the Box Combo and for our drinks went for their classic sweet tea. It was so much sweeter than I remembered. A little too sweet. We sat at a 2-person booth and there was always one of their team members eager to tidy up tables as people leave. We received our food ~10-15 minutes after ordering. Both fresh out of the fryer. The sauce was just as amazing as I remembered. It seems like the portion for fries was much smaller than I recalled. It was delicious (OF COURSE) though not a lot of batter on my chicken tenders. My boyfriend gives it a 4/5 stars. Cane's is a pretty solid chain in general. I recommend going if you haven't. This location's rating: 3.5.

Came with a group of 4 on a Sunday afternoon, ordered two 3 finger combos and two sandwich combos, barely any wait to order (just one person in front of us), the order process was quick and easy thanks to the short and simple menu, and our food was ready in about 10-12 minutes. Not bad. We found a table inside to sit at, no problem, though there was lots of outdoor seating available as well. And the drive thru line didn't look horrendous like at some other RC locations in the bay area. The chicken was juicy and delicious, consistent with what this chain usually serves, Iight on the salt/seasoning, which I think is perfect, especially with the cane's sauce for dipping, with its slightly creamy yet tangy flavor. The texas toast was light and airy, and buttery! The fries were nothing too special, but tasty and made just right. A satisfying meal, and positive experience overall. I'm a fan of RC and have nothing but good things to say about this particular restaurant location in Vacaville.

My husband and I stopped by here for food. One restroom out of order but no big deal they have 3 total. My husband didn't like his food. He waited also while the order sat there and other patrons were getting their food before him. He had ordered before these patrons. He had to go and ask for his order and it was ready. Lightning great and clean inside and outside. Staff nice and they were busy. So I do have to point that out. The tea was delicious to me but for some reason my husband didn't like it. UPDATE: my husband went back today 2/22 and said the Food was 100% better!

    The Carniac

Shared an order of the Carniac meal. Love the plump portions of chicken which was lightly seasoned letting the chicken flavor shine. The fries slightly crispy looked seem factory precut. Overall everything wasn't too greasy. With sauce this order reaches close to 1900 calories without drink. Service was quick on a weekday at 1 pm.

Quality/Quantity - One of my daughter's favorite brands. She insisted we stop by here for a snack and ended up buying the Caniac Combo (6 chicken strips)! I wonder if she plans to share, lol. Then she added an extra toast... Personally I felt that the strips got smaller...? Atmosphere - Consistent decor, see pictures. Indoor/outdoor seating. See pictures. Self service drinks, see picture. 3 unisex bathrooms. An extremely long line today?!?! Plenty of parking. Service - 5 stars. Greeted when we walked in. Greetings to everyone. Joked with everyone. The team seemed very happy to work. Price - $21, reasonably priced. Well not for one little girl, lol. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1996 and with your 600+ locations. And thanks for the first responder discounts! Your "Restaurant Partner" program is interesting. A millionaire in 15 years, amazing.

This was my first time ever trying Cane's so I wanted to order something small to test it out. I got the kids meal with two chicken tenders, fries and a drink. I went through drive thru and they two lines (one for cash one for card) I was greeting by someone taking the order by the menu and they were super nice and didn't rush me to order while I was looking at the menu. I came during Super Bowl Sunday so I thought they were going to take long but I wasn't waiting too long. I order an extra sauce since the order only came with but when I got to the window they mentioned the honey mustard was out so I got two of their signature sauces. The tenders were cook perfectly and I loved how the batter wasn't thick and oily. I would say it might need some more seasoning but the sauce made up for the flavor. The fries tasted fresh too with perfect amount of salt. I liked the heart decor they had on the wall everything was clean from what I could see. I would come back and try their slaw and hopefully the honey mustard.

Great late night bite! This Vacaville location is always packed but the team of workers do a great job of making orders and making sure they're correct. Passing thru Vacaville after a day in the bay to Sacramento this Raising Cane's always gets our business. Drive thru can be a bit of a mess but the food is so worth it. Love getting their fries and cane's sauce. Of course the main attraction is the chicken! And it's the bomb! As more locations pop up around California in constantly repping team Cane's and telling people to try it before they knock it.

In n out is one of our favorites. We love the burgers and animal style fries…read more Service and ambiance similar across locations, and setup for a good experience regardless of which spot you stop at. This location can get super busy and long drive through lines. That is my only reason for a 4 star. Nothing bad to say about the food or quality - just can be a bit longer wait time here than the other locations in woodland and Davis. Recommend in n out!

Sorry to say I am reluctantly done eating at In-N-Out restaurants…read more After a lengthy drive and stopping for a hopefully pleasant casual lunch it turned into an absolutely awful experience. Finding parking at this location was a nightmare. It's similar to other In-N-Out locations. Not enough and the layout is impossible to navigate. Plus the line for the drive up window blocks many of the available spaces. We, like others, had to park in a parking lot across the street... no doubt that business loves that spillover??? First using the restroom was disgusting. It was filthy, not maintained and way too small for the volume of people. As a model they should know better by now. Does any staff check it occassionally? It was 1:30 on a weekday and they just couldn't keep up with the orders and the lines didn't move and it got incredibly backed up. Folks were getting super irritated. Then the bedlam of finding a place to sit and eat. People hovered over tables waiting for that last bite to grab a place. Children ran around unruly, screaming and yelling (OK, that's a parent issue, but staff should be trained as they walk around to tell them that's not acceptable). Then, the most disappointing part- the food. I'm sorry it's not what it used to be. The volume is apparently sacrificing quality. What happened? Even the fries were soggy and greasy. I should give it one star, but this has been a long standing mainstay for quick quality fast food. Sorry, no more. I left this experience upset and with a lump in my stomach. They had a model that worked but didn't expand the corporate 'mold' to meet the demand.
