My experience here could not have been better. I was a little skeptical because I was worried it was going to be too pretentious. (High end salons make me nervous) Jessi totally put me at ease. I felt so comfortable and loved the chill vibe from everyone there. My haircut was amazing! Jessi took my unmanageable mane and turned it into a fun bubbly cut. Seconding the last reviewer in that I found my new hair care home. Gaby was incredibly detailed with finding out exactly what I wanted. The color turned out great and she was the most thorough person I've seen with cutting my hair, she went layer by layer with the scissors after it was dry to make sure the cut was absolutely perfect. She even walked me through tips as she styled it so I could re-create the look at home. All the other stylists in the salon were very friendly as well. 10/10. read more

Okay, so, you're probably wondering if these 5-stars are legit. . . I thought the same thing when I was scrolling to find a hair salon. I'm a big skeptic: hair is something that can be a hit or a miss. Seeing 5 stars, I thought, hmm, let's see if this is legit. 1) Location: I'm old-school: I like a building with it's own parking lot. But, street parking is plenty. 2) Decor: love it! It's eclectic, it's fun, colorful, cool. 3) Products: KEVING MURPHY!!! I am so excited that they carry KM line, one of my favorite lines! 4) Staff: Brandon greeted me kindly, leaving me with the impression that your presence is honored. I've been to $$$-$$$$ salons before where I check-in and greeted by an unhappy teenager who hates the world who doesn't even smile. If I'm paying $$$-$$$$ for my haircut, I damn well expect to receive at least a smile (fake it, for all I care)! Everyone who works here is super friendly, nice, and accommodating. 5) My hair stylist: Jessi. I. Love. Her. My hair colorist rarely commends hair stylists but even he was in awe of the cut she gave my hair..yeah! BIG DEAL! Naturally, when I sat in the chair, my overly particular "if-you-dare-cut-a-millimeter-more-i-will-kill-you" self, I was scared. I'm no hair stylist: so explaining how I like my hair to be cut to a professional is like an elephant talking to an ant: I speak a different language lol. The previous hair stylist I went to did not listen to what I wanted and gave me layers that was more like a mullet, and less like layers. So, since I had a horrendous experience, I was nervous. After seeing remnants of my hair scattered on the floor, I was nervous.. until, I noticed... Holy Shnikies! She blew dry my hair straight and it actually looks good! I NEVER HAVE GOOD HAIR EVEN WHEN BLOWN STRAIGHT!!! NEVER! I never owned a straightener because my layers would look so off, flat, and uneven! The fact that my hair looked amazing straight, I was excited to see how it would look curled (my go to look as it was the only way to make my irregular layers look somewhat socially acceptable). Overall experience: 5 STARS! Jessi's a keeper, the staffs a keeper, the salon's a keeper. I agree that In The Loop deserves to be a 5 Star business! You will not be disappointed! read more

Brandon is awesome. I hate getting my hair cut/highlighted bc it usually takes me about 4 hours (my hair is super thick, and heavy enough to cause headaches). This dude was able to get me in and out in less than 2 hours! ...but most importantly, I had no idea my hair could look so natural and light (not heavy). Even after washing, my hair is easier to do, and keep it's style. I highly recommend! Also, he had my 6 yo son done in less than 10 min and looking like a gentleman. This dude has a gift. read more

It's been about 3 weeks since Jessi cut my hair and I could NOT be happier. I went into the salon w/a pretty bad cut (overly thinned out & texturized). I told Jessi I like my hair long and full. I had a full set of highlights done at "In The Loop" salon and I paid $150. After the colorist finished I told him that it was pretty, but it wasn't quite right because it needed another highlight shade for a little more depth. I went back exactly 1 week later for a few scattered additional highlights and they charged me another $50! That is outrageous. When a client is not satisfied, any other salon would have made it right without an additional charge. I paid the extra $50. After I left, I called the salon and told them that I would never go back. Rather than to apologize, the receptionist made a snide remark. Brandon, the owner never bothered to contact me to find out what he could do to retain me as a customer. These people have a lot to learn about customer service. I wouldn't recommend this salon. read more

I highly recommend this Salon from their super friendly staff to the amazing work they do, this place deserves more than the 5 stars listed. I put off getting my hair cut for about two months because of bad experiences at other salons. It finally got to the point that I couldn't put it off any longer because my hair was becoming unruly so I took to yelp to find a salon near me. After reading the various reviews for In The Loop Salon I decided to give it a try and booked an appointment with Jessi. When I showed up I was immediately greeted by Brandon and offered a beverage while I waited so that made a great impression right off the bat. As for my cut, Jessi sat me down and after looking at my hair she was able to immediately diagnose the various problems and came up with a solution to fix it. She was incredibly friendly and I felt completely at ease the entire time. She spent a lot of time on my cut (I have a lot of hair) and the end result was phenomenal.
