This was an ok place. The pricing is a bit too high for my taste and the portions are too low. If you're really looking for good sushi, this isn't really the place to go. The staff was ok, but they tended to my needs. They were more service than hospitality and the service was mediocre. I have had better for 1/4 of the price. ($50 for two!) read more

Met some friends here. I knew this was going to be awful--we're in Oklahoma, 500 miles from the nearest saltwater fish, after all--but I was in for a huge surprise. It was so, SO much worse than I could've ever imagined... I've eaten sushi on five different continents: from both upscale and quick-and-dirty across Japan, to whale sushi in Norway. The cocktails here? Really not too shabby. The food, though--from start to finish--was an abomination. The gyoza were fatty and greasy, tasteless, and terribly overcooked. The shoyu sauce tasted like it may have been collected in the men's room. The edamame have some terrible "chef's creation" spice...please, just give me some sea salt. I knew nigiri or sashimi was going to be a mistake here, so we split three rolls: the volcano, the SC something-or-other, and the Rose District. The Rose District was so heavily spiced with Five Spice that I could taste literally nothing else. I'd bet my firstborn the volcano was covered in nacho cheese...swear to God. The SC was just barely edible, but only when placed in relief next to the other two. I ate about $5 of this supposed $50 worth of sushi, barely avoided sicking all over the table, and went running back to the sushi in southwest Virginia...something i swore wasn't possible... Sorry to write. But this is pretty dissapointing sushi. And the well known ITR salad was also a huge let down. Oily and the chicken was definitely not of good quality. The crunchies werent very good either. I had a sushi roll, real sushi thats raw and it was not very good quakity. The fish itself was adequate but the rice was not properly cooked. Unless you're ready to drop 100 bucks on dinner I'd say go to another sushi place. Not that this is bad but all the really good stuff is so expensive. $15 for crab cakes, oh so good but stupid price. Meh. For the price and the atmosphere, the sushi was pretty cheap. When ordering chef's choice dishes, the business shouldn't take the opportunity to put the cheapest stuff (fake crab, cooked shrimp, egg, tough octopus, etc) on the plate. If you've never had sushi before, you might not notice, and probably won't crave it again. We visit Broken Arrow/Tulsa occasionally and definitely will need to find a different sushi place. read more

Don't like the fried rice! But the Nirvana Role is bomb! And so is the BOK Roll, took a while to make and serve the sushi, but it is a delicacy. The tacos and chicken is a little bland. But overall 8/10! read more

I LOVE In The Raw and eat often at their two Tulsa locations. Will never return to the Broken Arrow restaurant. The itr salad was watered down and tasteless. The 6151, my favorite at their Sheridan "on the hill", was ghastly. It was as if they had thrown the ingredients into a bowl of water, drained it, and dumped it cold on my plate. Zero service. It took an hour exactly to get our first entree. Our first drink was our last, as our glasses sat empty on the table throughout the rest of the meal. Food was decent but I was unhappy with how thru charged me for both sauces and both hot green teas without letting me know it would cost extra. It also took over an hour to be seated, while over 6 smaller tables were seated right away. Disappointed. We were excited to try the new sushi place, but they were already closed and locked, at 7pm on a Thursday. Hours on the door say open until 9, and the sandwich board inside the shop welcomes you to "join us for new years 2015!" So they weren't closed for the holiday. Although my family loves sushi, I have always gagged over it! Janessa educated me so well about how to order! Anything can be cooked or raw and the awful seaweed can be replaced with soy paper!!! We had reservations on a Wednesday evening for 14 adults and 3 children. It was a birthday dinner. It took an hour an a half to get our food after we ordered. Our waiter never asked to refill our drinks, we had to get him. The food was unremarkable. No one finished their food. Everyone only ate a small amount. Everyone ordered a variety of items on the menu, from sushi, tacos, fried shrimp and blackened salmon. We all agreed we wouldn't be back there to eat. We didn't complain to the waiter because we don't do that, we just don't come back. It wasn't a waste because we enjoyed each other's company. Maybe it was a bad night for the cook, I don't know. read more

Disappointed, to say the least. The ITR salad with thai peanut dressing is my favorite thing ever at ITR. This location, however, has a terrible version of that. There is too much oil and not enough peanutty goodness, so it's really bitter and bland. The atmosphere is fine. The wait staff is pretty sad. They're slow, inattentive, and too busy chatting each other up or fighting in the kitchen instead of paying attention to their customers. Also, don't waste your time writing a review of their restaurant on Facebook unless you give it 5 stars. They will block you from being able to be on their page at all and try to make your review not visible to others. Sad when a restaurant can't take constructive criticism from those who frequent their establishment. The way they handle themselves both in the building and on social media are appalling, so don't bother being unhappy with anything if you do visit this location. Skip the Rose District if you are only going there for ITR-BA. Go to the original location (ITR - On the Hill) at 61st and Sheridan, or go to the Brookside location, which is equally as amazing as the location on the hill. You will be treated better, the quality of food is better, and the view from the On the Hill location is pretty spectacular. I know I won't be going back... I'll stick to the good ones in Tulsa instead. read more

3 servers in a 30 minute window. The service was subpar and the sushi and sashimi is the most costly I have ever seen. My wife and I travel often and have had sushi all over the U.S., and this by far was the most expensive and most bland tasting sushi ever. 1 rainbow roll at 23 dollars, when an expensive rainbow roll usually costs 15 dollars.... The sushi there is fairly mediocre and not really to my tastes, however, their fusion fried rice and chocolate gateau cannot be beat!

My wife and I went here once on a date night and ordered 3 rolls. It was good, but there are other sushi places around that are just as good or better at lower prices. I feel that you are paying extra for the location. We ordered the Lobster roll (most expensive roll we've ever ordered) and we're not impressed, so I'd recommend passing on that one. read more
