They now serve brunch! I got their Maryland Benny. Two garlic butter biscuits, topped with spinach, poached eggs & crab legs with hollandaise sauce. Very savory & tasteful. The biscuits play a major role compared to the crab legs. Everything was well put together & I would recommend it to anyone! Their drink selection stepped up as well. They have $3 (glass) mimosas. Their glasses are a pretty good size as well. You can choose between wine or sake, so why not get the sake! You can also choose between orange, mango, pineapple, pomegranate & cranberry juice. Oh dear, oh dear....what happened to In The Raw on Brookside?! I haven't been there in quite some time and decided to stop by at about 2 o'clock on Saturday, 10/1. I walked in and literally not a single staff member said anything to me. I stood there at the hostess stand for about five minutes and still no one said anything. Two servers made eye contact, said nothing and walked by me. A girl in a flowerEd dress that I presume was the hostess or a server was standing and leaning against the wall...I thought she was a customer waiting for the bathroom. Finally the bartender asked me if I had been helped and he seated me in the bar area. I watched a blonde waitress with a nose ring and braids walk by the bar twice and eat olives from the bar condiment area. I was served a very good drink but the sushi was just ok and on-par with any sushi restauran at a whopping $18 for five tiny slices of sushi. What was worse is that I ate my meal and did not once have anyone check in or say anything to me the entire time I was there. I normally come here and the service and food is pretty good for the most part. I came on a Thursday during the lunch "rush" and just experienced really sub par service. I ordered a philly roll with jalapeño. The server brought out the incorrect roll and told me he would fix it. He took the plate back inside and brought out the same incorrect roll but with sliced jalapeño on the top of the roll. I guess I should've specified that I wanted the jalapeño inside of the philly roll which has always been how's it come in the past. I also ordered the pan seared pork gyoza with ponzu sauce. The sauce was super watered down and had zero flavor. Not sure if it was just a bad batch or if they just don't care about the quality of their service/food. Probably won't be coming back. read more

I hate to be disappointed but I was. The location is super cute, the restaurant is nice and the service was on point. I honestly wasn't impressed with the food. I had the avacado roll and it was cool, but the chicken bowl, eh...not a fan. It felt like the rice wasn't cooked all the way...like it had a crunch when it shouldn't have. It was an Asian fusion spot I think as they didn't use jasmine rice either. Maybe if I had something else, like the sushi I would've been able to give more love but I was not loving my rice bowl. We had guests from out of town and made reservations for outdoor seating. When we got there none of the cooks were wearing masks while preparing the food. Then after waiting 10 minutes to get seated we were told they only had indoor seating. When we told them we had called and reserved outdoor seating, their response was "Oh, sorry, we only have a inside table for you." When I decided to go inside and get my takeout. The entire service staff was on there phone and no one greeted me when I was at the door. The cheff was making rolls and tried to get the staffs attention when he wasn't able to get anyone to look up from there phone I decided to sit down and wait by the door. I liked the décor. The waitstaff and chefs were very nice and fast. That said...that I think is the only thing keeping this from getting a 1. The fish was not tasty. It wasn't that it had gone bad, it just hadn't survived the freezing and unfreezing process well and had no flavor. The roll I ordered was seriously over priced for the quality. The salad came unmixed, very odd for a Kani salad. The shrimp in it was...mediocre. All in all I felt I spent a bunch of money on pretty mediocre food. Not fun. After spotting mice running around the bar area, I informed the host and our server and ask to speak with a manager. People mention a hipsterish vibe, but honestly these people must not have traveled to Austin or San Francisco in the past few years. Trendy might be a better word. Started with fried goyoza dumplings. Standard but good. Nothing WOW about it, but it was tasty and started things up well. The Volcano roll was pretty much mayo/siracha with scallops poured on sushi. Very overpowering and covers up the taste of scallops, masking one of the main reasons to order this roll. The tempura shrimp roll was stuffed with a large, battered shrimp. It was salty, crispy and had a nice crunch. It's kinda odd to stuff such a good piece of fried shrimp into a more or less standard sushi roll, but it works. I always enjoy eel, and I ordered the Rock and Roll. It was certainly a highlight. A lot of places use an overly sweet sauce with eel. In the Raw did a great job of keeping the focus on the freshness. A great sushi roll. Finally was a pretty average run of the mill, tuna type roll. It wasn't bad, but the next time I want to try a nice piece of fish I'll order it Sashimi/Nagiri style. The bar seating looks pretty fun, you get to look at some pretty pieces of colorful fish and watch the chefs slice and dice up your dinner. We didn't order drinks but I hear they are pretty good. Overall, In the Raw is a good choice for Sushi in Tulsa. Certainly a top choice if you want to eat before/after enjoying some of Tulsa's drinking scene. read more

I was excited to take my fiance out to lunch here for her birthday. We walked in and noticed a sign that said masks are required. Great! What was not so great is apparently the mask requirement does not apply to servers. While waiting to be seated, we watched the server deliver food with her mask pulled below her mouth. In town on business, someone else was buying - what could be better? My photos of the ID roll I ordered are VERY YELLOW due to the yellow curtains in the window of the corner where we were sitting. The dinner napkins were purple, but looked brown in the yellow light. I thought the waitress was exceptionally helpful, and very pleasant. I've had some great experiences here and some so-so experiences. However, the food is always good, it's the waitstaff that brings this review down. This is my go to for sushi. My favorites are a half ITR salad, volcano roll, and Keaton roll. Not the healthiest, but man they are good. I would recommend this place for a night out with girlfriends or a great date night spot. At dinner the lighting is dim. Also, if you want the delicious chocolate cake that takes 20 minutes to cook as for it MONKEY STYLE, it makes it a ton better!! read more

Me and my wife went on our trip to Tulsa a couple weeks ago, and it not only meet our expectations that we've come to enjoy from our experiences with the OKC location, but surpassed them. My friend knew someone who was already sitting down so we sat down to chat with them while we waited for our table. He had the audacity to come and ask me to move (just me, not my friend) even though we were clearly invited to be there. Tulsa is so limited with great sushi options so I was disappointed when I tried In the Raw. I know it's a local favorite but not for me. Sushi is pretty basic and does not taste very fresh to me. Some of the cooked food is pretty greasy. I prefer the location in Broken Arrow a bit more. Sushi Hana still remains the best spot in town in my opinion. read more
