Salmon Nigiri
Jonnie C.

Amazing gem. I like adventure and I like discovering what the locals already know is amazing. I saw "Raw" and went in. The weather was beautiful so I sat on the back patio. Fresh, thinly sliced salmon nigiri and a delicious burst of flavor dish with Mandarin oranges wrapped inside white fish. It was crunchy, savory, umami and sweet. I Can't remember the name but i took a picture. Next time I will ask my server to bring the same dish...I hope it wasn't just a special.

This is one of the go to sushi spots in Tulsa. They have a few rolls/options that I quite like, but some of the other options, particularly the nigiri options are somewhat underwhelming for me. I think that amongst Tulsa sushi options, this is towards the top, somewhat similar to Yokozuna for me. However, Yokozuna does have better nigiri/sashimi options which makes me prefer it. My go to order here now is a carnival roll (not on the menu but always available if you hahha ask and is $18ish, has a mix of things, tuna, jalapeño, cream cheese, etc. & is tempura fried with a lot of sauces), the ITR salad (the half portion is quite large), and a miso soup. I actually love the miso here. It has a lot of mushrooms which I like. The dressing on the ITR salad is great, and it's very chopped and fresh each time I get it. If you want a roll on the menu and like eel, I also think the nirvana roll is pretty good. If you're with another person or more, the some like it hot combo is also a nice option. Lastly, their lunch bento boxes are a pretty good deal! The ambiance here is fun. It's dim, and feels a little bar-like. Something that knocks down my ranking here is the service. Most times I go it just feels a little disjointed. All of the servers are nice, but sometimes they seem a little confused (maybe there's a lot of new hire turnover?). Also, my main issue is that the food can take forever to come out. On my last trip I waited 40+ minutes in between my appetizer and rolls coming out. This leads me to believe they just don't have enough sushi chefs to keep up with the business of the restaurant. That's not something the servers can control at all, but is something that could be adjusted at the manager/owner level. One final tip is that their catering/pickup orders are pretty good! If you have a larger group definitely look into their catering portions!

Fish tacos

Walking down the street on a nice sunny day. I heard some live music and the patio was calling me out . Sat at the bar and ordered their mule, rainbow roll and fish and man oh man the rainbow roll was huge and delicious! Fish tacos were a huge portion as well as someone that has visited San Diego and lived in Miami I know and love my fish tacos. These were good but not a huge fan of the cornmeal batter personally. The ITR mule was a nice twist on the classic mule. Service was 10/10 the bartender Rachel was attentive, personable, working hard and kept checking on everyone can't say enough good things about her. Overall great outdoor dinning experience that put me in SoCal, Florida vibe. My one advice for the restaurant is install one of those sail sunshades from the end of the container to about the middle of the restaurant, while I enjoy the sun, the orientation of the patio makes it umber for people to set and caused a lot of people to move, the staff can't barely see the POS screen because of it. Also I'd be nice to have some bar only specials aside from the happy hour. For Rachel did we ever into the camera

Food was amazing!! Our server was so nice. Their cocktail was good. We got their seasonal cocktail. The food had great flavor and was filling

Theme and decor hasn't changed in 20 years but guess what neither have the prices! At least second generation on this joint! Good bottles of wine for $40 ...rolls for 10 bucks ...can't beat it! Bar is always full Ask for the VIP tables in the back.

We enjoyed our first time visit here! We were seated outside on a beautiful afternoon. Their miso soup with mushrooms and green onion was super duper tasty! The Diablo shrimp was the bomb!!! It was sweet, salty, and can feel a bit heavy after having a few of them...but what a start! The In The Raw combo came with 3 rolls (one was the High Roller, how can you forget the name??;), the other roll had Eel, cucumber and cream cheese. What a combination!! They were all SO fabulous! And our daughters simple Hello Kitty roll satisfied her simple taste buds. The Hello Kitty roll had a tempura shrimp center and she chose to have fruit for her side. Overall, great visit! Cant wait to come back!!

The Taylor roll. Shashimi tuna, julienned jalapeño, cucumber inside. Spicey crab on top.

Food and service was great as always!!! Try the Taylor roll ...................................................aaaaass

Easily the best ITR location In Tulsa! The service and food were impeccable. The ID Roll was something we had never tried before and it's now in my top 3!

Sushi. Only an hour after ordering. Appetite pretty much gone at this point.

Decent sushi when it finally arrived. Never seen such a disorganized cluster. Server was apologetic. Orders all mixed up for entire table. Drinks as well as food. Probably won't be back to this location anytime soon. Have not had these problems at 61st and Sheridan.

"This is so good!" That ^^^^^^^^^^^^ was the theme for the meal! Every time I put a bite in my mouth "This is so good!" "This is so good!" "This is so good!" "This is so good!" I'm a big sushi fan!! It is probably my all time favorite food! I like sashimi! Hunks of raw bait, errr I mean fish! They had some excellent fish!! I'm picky too so, I will say they could have been sliced better but that would be gilding the lily!! It's very much a tiny technicality in an otherwise stellar meal!!! Delicious! Divine!! Delightful!! We had the DUCK - crispy duck GET IT!! Seriously!! Just - get it! Ask to have it sautéed (they do fried too but I hear it's not as good). Tender, juicy! Steak like! And don't miss the tiny lettuce pieces underneath (I may ask for more next time - coz duck-fat-slathered, wilted greens are SO good!!)! It comes with a sauce/dip/dressing kind of like a remoulade sauce (if you're into Cajun you know what I mean, if your not, think spicy mayonnaise) 11 piece sashimi!! It's chef's choice and their choices were spot on!! Fabulous mix of very fresh, raw fish AND a delish seaweed salad and cucumber slices too! A couple of kinds of roe, micro greens, gronions. (Aka green onions), and it even had a flower! Jeepers! It was a piece of ART!!!! Edible art! Very yummy art!! Our waiter was a delight! Great suggestions and very attentive!! Not intrusive but kept an eye on us, refills were prompt, dishes cleared quickly. Very personable and professional! Oh and how could I forget - the fish (yellowtail?) carpaccio with jalapeño!! Oh my!! "This is so good!!!! If you're looking for great sushi (or DUCK) near Trader Joe's! Go HERE!!!! I hear they have other locations and that their salad is good and dressing is ridiculously good! So.... I must go back!! I mush have more Sushi In The Raw!!! Oh really nice decor too! Huge mural type sea scapes and it's dark, cozy and cool! Outdoor space looks great too! Why are you still reading this?!! You know you've got to go try the duck!! Just GO!!

I get sushi cravings in all states. In the Raw was good sushi at an affordable price. They offered a squid salad and other favorites of mine. There is alcohol. The restaurant had the sushi bar ambiance where one can watch the chefs at work. Our server was friendly and knowledgable. She got us to buy a 27 layer matcha cake slice for eighteen dollars. I didn't know what matcha tasted like and I hated it. However, if you don't try new food items; you will never know what you like. It was the most beautiful piece of cake as green is my favorite color but not for me. Brian and our host (Amber) ate it. She didn't look thrilled either. Parking is in a lot and bathrooms were clean. Overall, it was a good experience.

We started off with cocktails and both were fantastic. We hit the flow state with fries and the Caesar salad and immediately yes to both. For 7 bucks you get a ton of fries and the Caesar was the perfect touch. We paired these two items with their Savy Blanc and it was crispy and refreshing. Moving on to the mains, the burger (dare I say) might give Tina's a run for their money. It was cooked perfectly and with all the elements of a perfect smash burger. The salmon was fantastic but my greedy self wished it was bigger cause it was that good. As a whole, vintage wine bar is becoming one of my favorite spots in Tulsa. The wine and cocktail list is thoughtfully put together, and there are some interesting choices worth exploring. Service was friendly and knowledgeable when engaged, but at times it took a bit longer to get attention than expected. Still, its a nice spot to unwind, especially if youre in the mood to try something a little different without too much pressure.

I will be trying to recreate this at home for sure. Not sweet but lots of flavor. The espresso here is excellent, not sour or bitter, very smooth. The blueberry muffin was truly the best muffin I've had in my life, and I do not say this lightly, I am quite picky about muffins. Fluffy and moist, the blueberries were not mushy. And the jalapeno scones was shockingly good and it was even gluten free. It was more similar to a shortbread in texture, which I preferred over a scone actually. Very buttery and tasty, not spicy if you're sensitive to that. It was $17 for these items, so higher than expected, but spot on for unparalleled quality. Friendly service, and very fast. If you are a vegan, then this place is without a doubt heaven on Earth. What I love most about this restaurant are originalities and intricacies of the food. I can see the passion in the food at this restaurant. The Strawberry Love smoothie was very refreshing. I think the drinks would be perfect for the summer. I was told that everything is made fresh daily in the morning and the popular juices will be sold out by the evening. Presentation of the food was striking. It maybe difficult to see but the salad was coated with a very thin layer of avocado/guacamole and topped with grated cheese. The avocado/guacamole made the salad taste amazingly delicious. Lasagna is a favorite entree at the restaurant. Composed of multiple layers of vegetables and sauces, this was one of the best vegan dishes I've ever had. At one point, I almost forgot that there were no meat in the lasagna. I must disclose I love tomato sauce and this entree had plenty of it. So to address the elephant in room, would I recommend Pure Food and Juice? Absolutely, if you are into plant based vegan diet. If you are not, you may prefer to spend your money elsewhere because $22 for a vegan lasagna may not be worth it. I just cannot recommend a vegan diet to someone who doesn't like vegan food. However, as a foodie, I appreciate the love and passion reflected in the food from this restaurant, from the small details to the bigger presentation and FOR THAT REASON I AM GIVING THIS RESTAURANT A 5 STARS.
