I called over the phone and asked for Birria tacos I got there and the young woman at the counter handed me a lemonade that was on the table for 15 mins that had a straw in it with no paper covering the top just a open drink when I asked her to fix a new one got looked at like I crazy. When I got home to eat there was cilantro and onion on my food when I asked for just meat and just. The rice was stale tasting. I've been here about 4 times so far and the food and service has been great everytime. Today I tried a chorizo burrito. It had chorizo, scrambled eggs, chopped onions and chopped tomatoes inside. The onions and tomatoes were very tiny and hardly noticable. It is served with their special sauce and melted cheese. I dont usually have a wet burrito but I said lets try it. You know I was surprised. I liked it. The sauce was very mild and with the cheese all melted into it. It was very tasty. I asked if they could add potatoes, but the waitress said no. The chorizo was a good quality because it was not greasy with lots oil dripping out. I would order it again. read more

It was a long wait. Our table of 10 waited about 1/2 hour to put in our orders. The food was fine, but nothing special. We had to ask a waiter passing by our table for our tickets. Then we waited to have our payments taken. After some more waiting some of us who had paid, had to leave. I don't know if this kind of waiting is normal for Inca or if this was an off day. Since it may take an hour and a half for lunch, just plan on it. read more

This was a good Mexican food restaurant. The service was ok, they weren't very attentive, as I would have liked a refill on my soda, but our waitress never came back after bringing us our food. As for the food it was very tasty. I had a chili relleno with a cheese enchilada. It wasn't over spicy. They don't have green chili unfortunately. My husband had a chicken chimichanga. There was pico de guillo on his chimichanga, which was different. Both of our dinners came with Spanish rice and refried beans. The rice was dry but we have definitely had worse. It was kind of pricey. For 2 sodas and 2 entrees our bill came to 32.00. read more

The service was good, no complaints on that end. Really nice restaurant ambience and good chips and salsa. For the food...the rice was plain and dry. The beans almost tasted like canned beans, I sure hope they weren't. The ground beef was not great either. Everything lacked flavor and authentic spice. For a sit down restaurant where the menu items are around $15, Im surprised that they don't even make their own tortillas! The tacos were Taco Bell style taco shells. Maybe I'm spoiled since Im from CA, but if this white boy can make better Mexican food at home using Walmart ingredients, there's room for improvement. read more

Hungry for Mexican and in a new, unfamiliar city more known for burgers and steaks. Thanks to Yelp, found this really wonderful establishment. Serving at 75% capacity due to Covid restrictions felt normal for someone coming from an area that is still at less than 50%. But. I digress. The food. Absolutely delicious. Impressive seafood selection beyond shrimp. Whole fish, raw oysters, ceviche, shrimp, raw oyster and octopus cocktail! We had the scallops with mushrooms and a baked seafood (crab, shrimp and scallops) dish in cream sauce. Both really delicious. His scallops? Large, sweet, perfectly prepared..and TEN OF THEM!! We've neither one of us ordered scallops and gotten so many. Oh. And the margaritas are good, too! Server had lots of great recommendations and was a little disappointed I got the baked seafood in cream sauce that she didn't recommend, but it was still wonderful! The protein portions are slim, we'll blame inflation but the prices are adjusted for it so I am not sure whats going on here. The main thing I did not like, small but significant was that if you ask for a straw they'll give you one but it is not covered in paper. The straw is provided already exposed in a napkin. read more

Inca delivered exactly what I was looking for on a cold night in Sioux Falls - inexpensive, delicious Mexican! I consider myself a queso connoisseur and this place delivered with a massive bowl of white cheese dip with a kick of jalapenos. I opted for one of the combination meals for my dinner and the chimichanga had a nice crunch while the enchilada was lathered in more delicious cheese. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in town. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, the food always comes quickly, their chips are light and crispy and I love the heat in the salsa. I almost always get the number 31 which is two enchiladas (I get chicken), and they are always a great, traditional pair of enchiladas. read more

The staff was very nice. They constantly came to the table to make sure everyone was taken care of. As for the food, I had the Vallarta Seafood burrito. I enjoyed it. It was somewhat salty, but I tend to be salt sensitive. There was plenty of seafood in the burrito although I would have like to have the seafood taste throughout the burrito and not just in the meat pieces. My SO had chimichungas and enjoyed it. Very rarely do I complain, but I intend to write a letter to management about my experience. I ordered a to go order today at 12:09 and was told on the phone it would be 15 mins. I got there at 12:20, paid and waited. I paid a tip, which I frequently do not do on to-go order but being in a hurry I thought it would make them hurry or at least be attentive to my order - I was wrong. My order was below. Chicken taco salad (no onion or tomato) side of beans and rice chili rellano lunch combo side of sour cream extra hot sauce guacamole The bill was $24.35 (before tip) and once I finally got my food at 12:38, I verified with the hostess that there was in fact extra hot sauce and gauc she answered is broken English - Yes. The problems: 1. There was no guacamole. 2. There was no hot sauce AT ALL....I received a small stirofoam box filled to the brim with pice de gallo. I'm still scratching my head how a Mexican restaurant can confuse pico de gallo with hot sauce. Heck my Norwegian mother would not make that mistake. 3. A chilo rellano is not meant to be wrapped in egg. It was basically an omellete with a pepper inside of it - DISGUSTING. The refried beans were actually good. I am writing a letter to management (since it was a to go order) and will also stop by and talk in person later today. read more

This is one of those Sioux Falls institutions. It's always busy and really has a nice big selection of meals. The chips and house made salsa are very good and better than a lot of other restaurants. My last meal was Chicken Enchiladas with special mole sauce. So very good. I love that rich mole flavor and Inca was able to deliver. Inca looks like almost every Mexican restaurant you've ever visited. That's a bit of a conundrum isn't it? Americans expect a Mexican restaurant to appear a certain way but that decor has become dreadfully cliche. In any case, Inca has that comforting feeling of Mexican restaurants, with tile-like table tops and salsa placed in front of you within minutes of sitting down. The server was very friendly and I was very pleased with my chimichanga/enchilada plate. The food was nothing to blow your socks off but quite well made and tasty for a place like Sioux Falls, which, nothing against it, it's not the cuisine capital of the world suffice it to say. Overall, Inca is plenty satisfying. Word to the wise: if you're trying to take advantage of one of their convoluted BOGO specials that are taped on the outside door, run it by your server that that's what you intend to utilize. We had a group of five and ran into a little bit of confusion with the daily specials offered and the prices billed. No big deal, but Inca could stand to incorporate a point-of-sale computerized system so that everything would be better tracked. As it is, I can see how the server/kitchen can mess things up accidentally, especially if customers don't mention ahead of time that they plan to execute a special taped up on the outside door. With some better organization, Inca would run more smoothly. read more

We do have several good Mexican options in Sioux Falls but this is our go to place! We always have the tamales meal and my husband has the fajitas - so good!! Sometimes I get the chile rellenos which are also excellent as are the enchiladas. The chips and salsa are great! Their chips are thinner and crispier than most and the salsa is great on everything - especially love it on the beans. I used to live in Burbank California for a few years and this is just as good and authentic as anything I ate in the L. A. area! read more

I went with a large tour group passing through Sioux Falls, and we pre-ordered our dishes. Not sure if what we got is on the regular menu, but it was good. We had fajitas, with mixed chicken and steak. peppers and onions. The tortilla chips were a little thin for my taste, so I didn't eat many of them. The dish came with rice and refried beans on the side of the plate, and everything was very tasty and well prepared. I can't speak for the rest of the menu, but what I had was good. Being new to town, I was referred here by a friend and I am so glad I checked it out! The chips and salsa were delicious! The chips are a thinner texture and the salsa is so so good. We had to get a refill on it after we demolished it all before our meal was out. My meal was also good. I did one of the combo plates. My boyfriend got one of the burritos and really liked the meat inside it, but did think the sauce was too sweet. It seemed to be a family run business and everyone was very attentive and kind.
