Galaxy skate had a whole system in place, with payment to picking skates to people helping in the skate rink. Fun lights and definitely temperature controlled so it was cool inside. This is a big plus since you work up a sweat sometimes going fast. Entrance feels not the happiest and a little unwelcoming - would suggest the front security person and register person have a little training in customer service and a smile. Its OK to be tough and be kind. The 1st encounter should always feel welcoming. Price was very clear online so what i expected to pay was accurate. And the skates and tables were nicely spread out. Food spread to another area as well. Lots of tables to hang and eat and talk. We skated for an hour + enjoyed the music. Thanks for an easy activity for kids and adults.

The teachers are patient and take time with students to help them learn the elements. Prices for 5 week lessons are fair and include unlimited free skate sessions to practice during each term. I want to share a special shout out to the Skate Guards. They're very kind and helpful. Always there if someone falls and providing assistance and guidance to those who ask. I'm happy to see more rinks coming to the area and skating have a larger presence in South Florida. This is a great neighborhood rink that deserves more love. Plus, it's a nice reprieve from the oppressive heat outside.

Skating during that several-hour session, the dj played fantastic 90's music. All 90's Everything....90's Hip-Hop, Reggae, Soca, Pop, R & B - you name it, & that dj played it. Skating to 90's "Oldies But Goodies" while singing was a good way to spend out on a Saturday Night. There are lockers for your belongings. There are snacks, food for purchase. Clean Bathrooms. There are also some Arcade Games. Seating space is on the sidelines for those that want to sit, to hang out w/ out skating, or to rest in-between skating. What I did like was there spring break schedule for kids and even a skate & prayer session. Seems like management really likes to involve all ages and activities for the community and that's amazing. NO SWEATING TODAY…read more.. Took some quiet time in Loggers Run Park today. Definitely a park with a strong soccer influence. An open soccer field and a covered soccer field. Not sure why they had two portapottys in front of the gender assigned bathroom gazebo. We watched a guy practicing soccer on the open field. Thought I found a good fishing spot at the front canal, but as I got closer I noticed an alligator warning sign. It was green and murky so perfect place for a gator attack. (See Pic). The Loggers Run Pavilion can be rented out by scanning the QR Code. During a picnic the kids can play on the nearby jungle gym. Love these parks during the day when not packed.

There is a pavilion and there was a party going on there. There are also massive soccer fields. But that's about it. No trees or trails or anything. I've visited twice as a teacher chaperone with my school and once as a parent, for a birthday…read moreparty. As a teacher chaperone, we had the entire place to ourselves. Everything was very well planned and coordinated. Students, parents, and staff had a great time. Fun activies for the kids were planned and executed, which included students with rollerblading experience and those without. All felt included and enjoyed their time skating. As a parent of a child attending a birthday party on a weekend night, I was able to enjoy myself and felt the kiddos enjoy themselves on a off the rollerblading floor! We love their games, music, and the fact that they have pizza and other food items available for a decent price. You're welcome to bring your own skates or rollerblades if you have them. They also have skate trainers available for beginners for a small price.

Soooooo, my daughter had some tickets for free entry that she got when her summer camp visited…read moreAstro. On the bottom of the card it CLEARLY states that it is valid until the last Sunday of August. We get there on the last Saturday (yesterday) of August with her and her friends and we're told we cannot use the tickets because school already started...I told the young lady that the ticket is very clear and she proceeded to tell me that it's no longer summer since school already started. (The ticket should have said it is valid until school starts) I said okay and she continued to tell me that her boss said.. I told her it wasn't even worth explaining but it is false advertising. I was aggravated but wasn't going to penalize the children because of it. You have to do better, Astro!
