Point of attraction if you visited Boca Raton. The ice center has two rink in compare to Tampa ice center have five rink. Saturday and Sunday has free skate and bumper car section. We were here for bumper car section. I have never have a bumper car on ice. It definitely a great experience for me. The control is by two handle on both side. If you want to forward, both handle forward and so do backwards both backwards. For turn and spin use one foward and one handle backwards. Since this is ice, you will need to paid attention about spinning. Because it won't stop immediately. For changing directions, you may want it to stop first before changing it. Overall we have good fun. Once it move, it slide on ice very fast. Love the bump. read more

We've consistently had the weirdest experience here. The bartenders are never around and when they are it's so nonchalant they just grab us our drinks and leave. It's filthy to the point where god forbid you order food here and survive. Also we know it was built for an ice skater but the rinks are so garbage for hockey it's hard to watch. I cannot imagine who owns Boca Ice or what their business objective might be. The reviews here all go unanswered with no response from management. Many complain about the same thing which is a huge red flag. The website is poorly organized with conflicting pricing displayed. This creates confusion which is sure to generate a phone call. The phone call is then poorly handled. Booking an event here is impossible without a phone call. If you can get to the right person, you can hear they are untrained and do not care about their job. Why hire people like that? I went from reading mixed reviews to looking at their poorly done website to having a disappointing phone call. I cannot imagine trusting them with an event. My entire interaction with Boca Ice sent me to keep searching for competitors who care about the customer experience. read more

Great ice skating rink with fun activities! There are lots of places to sit and watch too if you decide to not skate.

We were excited to try out the ice rink in Boca, but we didn't dress warm enough for winter. We highly recommend wearing lots of layers and bring gloves to stay warm as it is very cold inside everywhere. The bumper tubes were 10 minutes per ticket and went by super fast. If you get dizzy easily I would not recommend doing this. The free skate probably has the most bang for your buck as it lasts longer. There were some video games to play while the Zamboni cleans the ice or you can get food or go to the second floor to check out the bar and TVs. While it was fun, it is expensive for the amount of time we spent here. read more

the owner was the one from The Rink on the Beach, he let that rink go in disrepair and tried to make it a go at Boca Ice. He lied to his investors Fine Arts Center? Ha there is no fine arts anywhere. The new rinks are too close together and when they played games side by side players from the other rink were stopping due to the horn sounding. They only had one Zam driver so while they cleared the north rink the south rink had to wait even though they had 2 zams on premise. The counter help was definitely rude when guests were trying to decide what sessions they want to purchase. Skate counter didnt know how to size kids and they didnt skate, the food counter couldnt keep up with the 10 people ordering lunch on that day, the one party was in the hallway, when hockey players were walking past them, eating the birthday cake. the 2 owners Hal and Jake were washed up at rink on the beach and screwed up the design of the next big thing coming out. i think they sell coke in the dressing rooms read more

We had a wonderful time here celebrating a birthday. The bumper cars on I was really fun. However, I will say the line were long for them so as they say get here ahead of time otherwise you could end up waiting an hour and a half or more. Also, I think they should keep the free skating open longer to accommodate the people that are waiting in line for the cars. Since you can't have someone hold your space in line it's possible to only end up with half an hour or an hour of skating time after being there for hours. Well, it was a good experience, the kids enjoyed it so it's fine . If they extend the hours I'll probably come back. read more

The staff and managers here are very kind. Not to mention the public skates are often very fun and not too busy.

We never got a chance to experience the rink. I tried for 2 weeks straight to book a party with them. I called for information, was told they would have the party planner call me. No one did-days passed and I called again- I was told the same things and now that I it would be easier to create an account with them (which I did and I even filled out the party form)- still no call back from this so call "Party Planner". I even went in in-person and spoke to who I guess was the manager/owner. He too told me I needed to connect with the party planner even after I explained that NO ONE EVER called me back. He even told me that if no one called me by Monday to callback. I did however finally get an email reply only asking me to repeat all the steps I has already done 2x. Of course, no one called me back so I called again and asked for the manager- I was told that someone would call be back to help with booking within the hour. I emailed the party planner, the manager/owner 3x after my in-person visit. I really did want to book this party for my daughter but no one ever called me back. I was very polite and understanding- they eventually called me 3 days prior to my date and obviously I had already booked with another neighboring ice rink. GOOD LUCK trying to book your party there. Worst party planning experience I have ever had just to book the simplest kids party. read more

I came into this place trying to escape the hottest Florida day after coming from the considerably less humid New York City. I've always wanted to learn to ice skate but never had the time while trying to become a physicist at NYU. And I'm telling you, I could barely move even when I wasn't on the ice. And when I stepped on the actual ice? My feet were literally facing down entirely in a triangle/pizza as if I was skiing. Thankfully, a great employee was there to teach me, David, and I'm telling you I was flying across the ice! I even learned how to stop! He was a great teacher and his ice skating was incredible, I think he could go pro! But after all that learning I was exhausted, so I went to get a snack. I ordered my favorite--chicken tenders with honey mustard. They were so delicious, the tenders were perfectly fried and the honey mustard had the perfect amount of sweetness it should! David must've been cooking too! So much talent in this establishment, what a great place. If there's 1 reason I'd move to Florida it's to come back here every day. Amazing place! Really don't like giving such a bad review but feel like we have given so many extra chances to make things right and now it's time to move on. This process has been on going for over 3.5 weeks of trying to book a ski lesson for my friend and I. We called several times, left messages trying to book an appointment. After almost a week we got a hold of someone who told us we needed to reach the person by email. So we sent an email which said a response would be given with 48 hours. 4 days go by still no reply back. Called again and was told that person only comes in on the weekends. So we wait again. Then after almost 2 weeks of waiting, finally told that bookings will only be done via the website which just launched 4 days ago. Ok fine, book our date and time, received a confirmation email and text. For only the next day to get another text our booking is canceled. Called in spoke to the manager who explained they have 2 systems for booking and it's an oversight on their end. She promised to call back after speaking to the contractor they hire for the lessons to see if they can accommodate us schedule. Surprise surprise ... no follow up call. Save yourself the frustration.... Look up the one in Miami, way very easy to book and did not go thru so many issues to book!!!!! Horrible customer service !!!! read more

Had an amazing time here today on their first weekend. There are two large rinks here, one of them was used for ice bumper cars. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and a place for games and food. We drove from Miami to do the bumper car ice skating, and was told we didn't have to make a reservation. When we got there at 6 (they close at 7) they told us they were closed. I talked to manager, and she explained they were packed beyond what they thought all day because they had just opened. She was so nice and understanding about how far we drove, they let us buy tickets and go onto the bumper cars. The staff was friendly despite being tired, and let us play twice on the bumper cars due to the complications. This place is decent on the inside, but the owner and security staff are absurd. There is only a single entrance to get in and out, and the people that work here are not friendly. There are lines that lead outside of the building because the activities inside are poorly structured in terms of pacing and design of the waiting spaces. Overall, I think that they should improve their system of entering and exiting the building, as well as making a better use of the interior space for the activities. read more

They need to get their act together. They've been open for more than two months so you would think they could have worked out the kinks. The building is fine, not as big as I expected but fine. Their website will test your patience whether you want to prepay or are looking for information. If you want to prepay for multiple people you need time and patience. I tried to get accurate information on skating lessons and that was impossible. They eventually gave me the name of someone to call who is only there Monday-Friday. Today I took three children there. They never asked for names or checked to see if they had signed waivers. You need to stand outside in line waiting to get in. I attempted to get information on lessons but there was no one there who could talk to me about it. I went to my car to get something and the kid at the door said I couldn't come in unless I paid. I am not a skater and had paid for the three children. I had to argue my way back in. They have a retail store that sells skates and all kinds of related goods. It was locked and closed on a Sunday even though the place was jammed. Strange Speaking of being jammed,the rink sure looked to me like it was over-crowded. Since skill levels on the rink vary from toddlers who can't skate all the way to proficient and fast skaters it seemed dangerously crowded. For years we drove to Lake Worth for skating. It's an older but much larger building and is extremely well run. Boca Ice has a ton of work to do if they want to draw that business. read more

We are seniors trying to have fun in our lives. I recommend calling ahead and knowing the public skating times. In addition, buy tickets online. Bring warm clothes, socks, gloves and a hat it's cold. Price point is ok, it's Boca. Skates and entrance fee about $22.00 (roller skating at Xtreme w skates only 16.00) Security check upon entering, lockers available. Snack bar, however we didn't buy, we had other plans. I had so much fun, and will go back. It was a great place, clean, not too crowded for a holiday week. They also had skate helpers to lean on to adjust to ice skating. They are $8.00, however people shared so I didn't pay. Great time, recommend and will go again!! read more

Avoid!!! First off, don't buy tickets online. Lots of steps and waivers, meanwhile, when you get there, they'll just treat you like any other person and shove you in the same line. I've also seen people who bought tickets ahead be told they can't come in because they're at capacity. So what's the point of buying tickets ahead of time? Security is a bottleneck and they even have a Boca PD officer there... What is any of that going to do for real? Just slows everything down. The trainer-walker things run out quickly... so if your kid needs one, good luck. Everyone in staff is rude. Guys on the ice are rude, girls at the rentals are rude... No one here seems like they care about their job or you having a good time. The end result is easy 4x the number of people that should be allowed on the ice at a time. They have two massive rinks and they're so busy worrying about "bumper cars" that they're missing the real solution: one rink for beginners and training, the other for people who can skate... then honor your online tickets and limit how many people can come in at half whatever number they're doing now. It's just very clear the owner doesn't care because he's making about $25 per person, so the more the merrier (for him!) read more
