Parking is free, and there are plenty of spaces when their isn't other events or services going on at the same location. My first visit was for a family kid's birthday party, and we were all pleasantly surprised. The party itself was organized well and had its own area inside one of the buildings. We had our own area decorated (you can bring your own decorations, too), and the food was fantastic for amusement park food. We had pizza, turkey sandwiches, chicken tenders, soda, and punch. We had about an hour for lunch before being released to enjoy the rest of the park. Many of the staff were kind during the party and throughout the park and made the experience that much nicer. The variety of rides here will please most young kids and adults. There are a couple of roller coasters, a carousel, a train that circles once around the park, and many more rides. I'm surprised how much they fit into the park space. There is also an arcade and a petting zoo. For food in the park, you have the standard burgers, pizza, tenders, pretzels, churros, ICEE, ice cream, and more. The prices aren't too bad either. Plenty of snacks and merch to purchase, too. There are also plenty of places to sit and relax, with shaded areas. Especially needed during a warm SoCal day. It was the first time for many guests in our party, and everyone enjoyed the experience. Many of the kids want to go back and have their birthday parties here next year, too.

One thing that surprised me was that the wait times for the rides weren't as bad as I expected, especially considering how busy the park can get. We were able to get on quite a few rides without spending the entire day standing in line, which made the visit much more enjoyable. There's a good mix of rides and attractions for both kids and adults, so everyone in the family was able to find something they enjoyed. We also loved walking around the park and taking in the atmosphere. Even with the heat, there were plenty of places to take a break and cool down. Overall, it was a fun family day and a great way to spend time together. The heat was probably the biggest challenge, but it didn't take away from the experience. We had a lot of fun and would definitely come back again!

Especially Xcelerator. Ghost Rider was a scream-fest also. Calico Mine Ride was more my speed. LOL! We've been to Knott's for Knott's "Scary" Farm during Halloween time and that was way more to our liking. It had scary thrills with very good actors, while keeping our feet firmly on the ground. Thrill seekers, Knott's is def for you. There is no shortage of rides for you. Knott's Scary Farm around Halloween is great too for those who love to be spooked and chased by chainsaw wielding fiends.

I haven't been to Disneyland California since I was a small child, and after all these years, the charm of the original park still makes it THEE Disney experience to beat. There is just something special about Disneyland. The character meet and greets, the food, the beautiful California weather, and the hospitality of all the Cast Members really make the entire experience feel magical. I've visited other Disney parks over the years, but coming back to the original park brought back a feeling that is hard to replicate anywhere else. The newer Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge area was AMAZING to experience. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance was definitely worth the wait, but do yourself a favor and get a Lightning Lane pass if you can so you don't have to wait as long as my friend and I did. The ride is incredibly immersive and absolutely awe inspiring if you're a fan of the series. Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run was also such a fun experience and really makes you feel like you've stepped straight into the Star Wars universe. Also at the top of my list was Tiana's Bayou Adventure. It was absolutely worth the wait, but again, GET THE LIGHTNING LANE PASS! We waited it out, and while I loved the ride, future me will definitely be using Lightning Lane. Everything else, including Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, remains just as fun as ever. These are the nostalgic Disneyland classics that you simply cannot miss. One of my favorite parts of my most recent visit was meeting Tigger and Winnie the Pooh. That instantly brought me back to my childhood. They were both just as sweet as I remembered, and Tigger was super excited and bouncy as always. Looking back at the pictures we took genuinely makes me so happy. I also got to meet Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and Princess Tiana, and they were all absolutely lovely as well. We ended the night watching the parade and fireworks, and it was the perfect ending to such a beautiful day. It was filled with laughter, fun rides, good food, reminders of my childhood, and new memories that I'll cherish forever. Happy 70th Anniversary, Disneyland! See you sooner rather than later, I hope.

All walk through immersive experience of artistic displays to bring out the childhood movies that we all know and love. Each area has a separate theme to discover the portrayed character. This is usually a popular thing during the Bash and lines can be over an hour or two so plan accordingly. Of all the bashes this was the first time we went through cause usually the line was super long all the time we went around 20 mins before closing time and the line was manageable. The lighting is cool and the sounds and the displays are interesting. Overall it's good to see at least one time in my opinion but do plan accordingly.

As excited as I was to finally make my way back to Disneyland and see just how much the park has…read morechanged since my last visit, I was even more excited to finally check out Disney California Adventure. After all, the last time I was out this way, the whole park was still being built! While I understand DCA is quite different now from it when it first opened as California Adventure, I doubt anyone would argue that's a bad thing. Not only are there still plenty of remnants and fixtures in place (or just rethemed) from when it first opened, but the park is both bigger and better than it used to be, especially now that it incorporates Disney's movies/properties, like with Pixar Pier, Cars Land, Avengers Campus, and San Fransokyo. What's more, some of the rides here, like Web Slingers and Midway Mania, are among my favorites at either of the two parks. If we were able to get on it, I imagine Radiator Springs Racer would be up there as well! Compared to Disneyland, one thing that DCA feels comparatively lighter on are table service dining options. Instead, the majority of the eateries here are either quick service or food stands that are spread throughout the park. Of course, their Sip & Savor festivals more than make up for it, too, as both their Food & Wine event and the one for Lunar New Year were fantastic! One pass is also enough to split between two people and gives you a chance to eat or drink a little bit of a bunch of different things. Although it does add another expense to how much it already costs to come here, one thing I would recommend, if you can swing it, is to get Lightning Lane. Essentially, it's an investment to make better use of your time and to make it that much more enjoyable. Even if you don't maximize it to its full potential, the two to three hours you'll save by not waiting in the standby lines means having that much more time to see/do other things and to make more memories. Plus, that time is even more valuable at DCA than Disneyland, as it typically closes earlier than its sister park. If walking isn't an issue, one way to save a bit of money is to park over at the Anaheim Gardenwalk a few blocks over. Not only is the rate cheaper, but it's a garage, so it's sheltered from the elements, and there are a bunch of restaurants there, too, in the event you want to pick up something before or after your day at the park. Best of all, they'll often have deals that shave the parking rate even further. Most recently, we stopped at the Paris Baguette, spend $20 on our breakfast and coffee, mentioned to them a Disney parking deal, and ended up getting free parking! In large part because I had such a good time here, there's no question that I very much regret taking so long to finally visit DCA. I may not ever become a Disney Adult (or at least the obnoxious kind), but I'll definitely be coming back again a whole lot sooner than later. In fact, given how it has two of my favorite rides and how good some of the food is, I might even try to come back here over Disneyland! Before hopping back over to end the night...

We were able to get a decent deal with a grand bear suite, water park passes, kid wolf pass, and breakfast Buffett. They put a bracelet on you and that's all you need to get in room, water park, pay for food, gifts, snacks, etc. Nice not having to carry stuff. Room was clean, bed bug free (I check thoroughly), and the AC works well. We had a toilet that wouldn't flush they sent someone immediately, he used the room ice bucket to pour tap water into the back of tank which was odd to us but whatever we didn't plan on using it (we had a mini cooler with us). The indoor water park is super fun, bring goggles and eye drops because the chlorine is strong. Really strong!!! Lazy creek is the only ride that wasn't the clearest. Especially by the end of the day. Outdoor pool is lovely. Really refreshing. We were there during the week and it wasn't crowded at all. They have fun little kid activities afternoons and evenings. Food was great in the restaurant, pizza place, Buffett, and ice cream place. Free cups of ice water everywhere I asked for one. Mini golf was geared towards young kids(7 and under), adults don't waste your money. The kids enjoyed jungle climbing thing, and the obstacle course in the sky! It's a cashless resort but staff will accept cash tips if your service is exceptional and you feel generous. I'm not sure but I think tips are included with package deal at least they were with ours. The Fireside restaurant was good, however if you have dietary restrictions I wouldn't trust them, the chef came out discussed restriction with us, and when food came out and after asking confirming 3 separate times yes it was gluten free only to have the waiter come back to the table and take it away because it was not gluten free. Lucky for us our friend had only a small bite and knew it wasn't gluten free. They brought out another they assured us was but by that point we didn't trust. The pizza place and breakfast buffet were fabulous and were able to accommodate restriction easily. Arcade super fun ask the workers about deals they were pretty generous and we won a couple of jackpots! Great ticket/prize set up not like chuckechese nightmare! Lazer tag kids had fun. Parking is ridiculously expensive $35 a day self park even if you are staying overnight. Still super good time was had by all, and no one got sick so that's great!
