So I really like this place and this time I decided to get a main dish . I was sorta disappointed . The Asian Indian noodles were seasoned but I felt 24 bucks was steep for noodles and veggies . I really enjoyed the samosa and the potatoes . I wish there was more options for pescatarians and vegans . I'll be back for chai and samosas. But I def won't be getting any mains unless they add different options . The server was so sweet in answering all my questions . And the ambiance is so beautiful . The bathroom is GORG lol

Service wasn't the best as we weren't really checked on compared to other tables. We ordered the dosa and chicken tikka masala pyaaz which took 25-30 minutes to come out when there were only 4 tables. It also took a while for us to be seated despite there being employees in the restaurant standing there and talking. (This was 1pm on a Sunday). I was surprised to find the potatoes in the dosa being unflavored. Chicken Tikka was fine, not the best I have ever had. Maybe it was an off day and we ordered the wrong things but the service wasn't great.

This is my second visit . I purchased food and drinks. This place has an excellent barista service with delicious tasty and unique drinks. They are super healthy and natural. I had a cardamom latte the first time there. I had saffron type coffee today a lemonade and chicken biryani. The restaurant is nicely decorated with beautiful furniture, nice wall paper and relaxing outdoor seating. I was involved by the barista that inday has brunch on weekends. Everything sounds so tasty. I will be back to try more on the menu. The food and the restaurant are beautiful

Delicious. The server helped me decided on the Aviel, which was perfect for my vegetarian day. It was rainy, so the hot chocolate was a MUST. The restaurant feels like a cove --warm, welcoming and easy.

Inday's Bar & Restaurant is a new Williamsburg gem! This has already become a neighborhood staple and delivers quality food and cocktails along with attentive staff in a wonderful atmosphere. Every bite we had was marvelous - but you definitely cannot miss the honey masala cheese flatbread, chili lamb smashburger, or the spicy mango margarita. This is the kind of place that has you returning again and again, and I cannot wait for my next visit!

We checked out the newly upgraded menu at Inday Brooklyn this Friday and it is for sure an easy Friday dinner recommendation. We started with drinks and went for the Chai Martini and Bombay Mule--both were well-crafted, balanced, and absolutely worth being our "one drink a month" rule drinks. If you're into creative cocktails with a South Asian twist, these are must-tries. For apps, we tried the Tandoori Eggplant Stracciatella (7/10) and Naan con Tomate (8/10). Both were flavorful, leaned into the fusion vibe, and came with warm garlic naan that tied everything together nicely. For mains, we went the sandwich route. The Butter Chicken Parm was a standout (9/10)--rich and satisfying, though the sauce on the side was a bit salty for my taste. The Chili Lamb Burger also hit the spot (9/10)--juicy, flavorful, with just the right amount of heat. We're already planning a return trip to try the Katsu Biryani, which looked amazing at the next table over. Beyond the food, the vibe was relaxed but lively, service was quick, and the server we interacted with was warm and attentive. It's a great pick for an easygoing Friday night dinner--whether you're with friends, a date, or just in the mood for a fun meal with bold flavors.

I really enjoyed the service and food at Inday. The decor is really pleasing to look at and it is within theme of Indian food and culture. The menu is very diverse as there is a variety of options that you can choose from. I like that they have chai drinks because that is very Indian and you can just stop in for a hot or iced one if you wanted it without dining. my lamb burger was well prepared and well seasoned, and the portion size was perfect. the fries I cannot remember what they sprinkle on it, but they were really good and I wanted to be greedy and order another portion, but I had control lol. I would definitely return and suggest to others.

Sometime last year, Inday revamped their menu and space and transformed their fast casual concept into a full service restaurant. They went from serving healthy bowls with Indian inspired flavors and ingredients at their Manhattan locations, to opening this sit down restaurant with many of the Indian comfort dishes many of us know and love like tikka masala and biryani. To my untrained palate, everything here was delicious, and the prices are low enough you won't bat an eye at coming here for a casual dinner on the regular. I really like what they did with their space, which is large enough that it spans multiple rooms. I heard from one of their managers they have a lot of ideas for the space that include private events. There's definitely room for even a DJ and mingling area if they wanted. At least for now, they have it set up so that the seats are really spread out and you aren't seated on top of one another, somewhat of a rarity in NY. Wait, you're telling me you're not trying to optimize every inch of space? Sick. As for the food, I absolutely loved the samosa chaat, which had pomegranate to offer bursts of fruit juice to complement the crispiness of the samosa. Chaat might be the best Indian dish? The biryani and tikka masala had so much flavor and I especially like that they charge just $13-$15 per dish-- a steal! I see that they have a full bar so you can even get mezcal margaritas but I have only tried a few alcohol-free drinks and they hit the spot. I hope they get more business so they can stick around, we need more affordable spots like this in Brooklyn!

I've ordered lunch delivery to the office from @indayallday a few times now but this was the first time that I dined in at their Williamsburg location. The space is airy and comfortable, great for our large group brunch. Their cuisine is more Indian and American fusion than traditional Indian, but tastes very refreshing and yummy. I love having their salad bowls and their chai is also a must order for me!

NOTE: I initially posted this review under Kolkata Chai, which is a company located INSIDE Inday. I was contacted by the owner who kindly informed me of the mistake and told me to definitely try the chai soft serve. So this is for the correct business. The thing I love about New York is that you can walk out your door and have no plan, but trip upon all sorts of culinary and cultural adventures. I had already had some amazing pizza at Frank Pinello's "Best Pizza" and was on my way to Domino Park when I passed this spot with a "happy hour" sign out. So I stopped! Since I had eaten earlier, I mainly focused on cocktails. Sunny Leone seems to be the staff favorite. Made with vanilla-infused vodka, passion fruit, and lime Prosecco, it was refreshing and velvety, and the vanilla wasn't overpowering (which was my primary concern). The capital nashpati, made with jin jiji gin, homemade lavender syrup, lemon juice, and coconut, it was a little more tart and clean, yet refreshing. And I finished with the hibiscus mezcal margarita, made with mezcal, homemade hibiscus syrup, pineapple, and masala honey. A beautiful shade of purple, and not too sweet, it was a nice closer. I also couldn't resist the sweet chili cauliflower, which was light, deliciously spicy (it really did have a nice kick), with a hint of coconut. They also have small plates (samosas, eggplant dip, flatbread, wings). They have salads and bowls as well as Indian fusion smash burgers, butter chicken parm, and the Bombay hot honey chicken sandwich. They have a masala dosa as well, but I'm sorry, my heart will always belong to Thiru, the amazing man behind NY Dosas in Washington Square Park. They also have tandoori kebabs, curries, breads, sides, and desserts. Service was great. Super attentive and welcoming. I spend a lot of time on the LES of Manhattan, but next month I'm spending some time in Brooklyn. Going to swing by this place again on an empty stomach.

If you're looking for a "healthy" and modern twist on indian food, run don't walk to inday! Sometimes I'm craving a detox meal and still want flavor, so this checks all the boxes. I recommend the cheese naan and kale crispy salad! Their chai was good too and I love how it comes default with oat milk which is what I usually get anyways.

It's been a year I have come to this place & I am so glad I got to visit again. Customer service is always on point, food is too good . And did I mention I loveee the decor so much ! They have the most amazing dosa which you guys definitely gonna try . This time I tried their cauliflower, Salmon Tikka Masala . My favorite was the cauliflower, yumm. Never got to try tikka masala with salmon before, so it was delightful. Only thing I didn't appreciate the hard rice, I had really hard time chewing! As an Asian person who eat rice 3 times a day complaining about rice isn't a small thing. I so wanted to give 5 stars but I am sorry ! Thank you for all the hard work you guys are doing, will be visiting soon to try the other options!

Always walked by this place in Williamsburg and decided to stop in on a Saturday afternoon-was not too terribly busy and was able to get seated. The chicken tikka masala was soooo good, I will say that the side of rice was a little bit small for my liking as I wish there were more but the garlic naan made up for it. The service was a bit slow which was surprising since there weren't too many people there. I also didn't really like the hot chai cocktail I got as the top layer disconnected me from the drink with how cold it was. Maybe if it was melted more, it would've been a better drink experience.

The entire time it was being prepared, he argued with a man in the kitchen. It was an unpleasant experience, though the restaurant itself was clean and inviting. As an actual Indian, I find myself increasingly frustrated browsing through reviews of Indian…read morerestaurants, most of which seem to be written by people with little firsthand familiarity with the cuisine. So take this from someone who grew up eating the real thing. There are restaurants that play it safe with Indian cuisine, dialing back the spice, softening the edges for a broader audience, and then there are restaurants that simply miss the mark entirely. Unfortunately, this establishment falls into the latter category. I came with high expectations and left deeply underwhelmed, starting with the Chicken Korma. A korma lives and dies by its sauce, that slow built richness of cream, cashew, and warm spice that should coat every piece of chicken with intention. What arrived was something far more anemic: a sauce so lacking in depth that it read as little more than colored cream. Worse, the chicken itself bore all the hallmarks of having been grilled separately and dropped into the sauce as an afterthought. There was none of that tender, sauce permeated quality you get when protein and masala are cooked together properly. It tasted like two dishes that had only just met on the plate. The Malai Kofta compounded the disappointment. The kofta balls, which should be pillowy, yielding dumplings with a delicate spiced interior, arrived with the texture of compressed gravel. The density suggested these had been frozen and reheated rather than prepared fresh, a suspicion difficult to shake with every labored bite. Again, the sauce offered little salvation, essentially a thinner echo of the same flavorless base. There were, to be fair, two bright spots. The naan arrived properly blistered and soft, and the chai was competently spiced, small mercies that demonstrated the kitchen is capable of getting things right when it wants to. It makes the failures elsewhere all the more puzzling. The service was attentive and the dining room reasonably pleasant. Your server won't let you down. The room won't offend you. But ambiance and adequate bread cannot rescue cooking this careless. Indian cuisine is one of the world's great culinary traditions, complex, layered, and deeply satisfying when executed with even modest care. What was served here felt like a faint photocopy of that tradition. For those of us who know what the real thing tastes like, that gap is simply too large to overlook. The naan and chai suggest potential. The mains suggest a kitchen not yet living up to it.

The (impossible burger patty) lahori felt quite bland. Maybe because the burger patty was so thick, but it just kind of was overwhelmed by generic beef patty taste which wasn't what I was expecting. The nihari had some really good flavor, but I found the bread was somehow both quite dry and soggy at the same time. It's hard to describe, but I felt like it was working against the actual nihari flavor. Sadly I do think something like naan or basmati rice would've been better. The fries were pretty unremarkable, too. Just tasted like fries you'd get at your local bodega. I don't expect the wheel to be reinvented when it comes to fusion restaurants, but I just felt nothing actually balanced themselves well (at least for what we ordered).
