The paths are concrete surrounded by green grass and rolling hills. some paths are flat throughout. I took a pathway along the river, which turned into a lake. The birds were plentiful. It was hopping with people; folks getting their steps in, like me. Moms, toddlers and strollers, and people walking dogs. The grounds were well tended. Healthy and lush grass. The trees are mature and plentiful. I read there is fishing, including catfish. There are several play areas for the kiddos.

There's a playground, splash pad area with outdoor shower, giant tree house with slide, waterslide, and ziplining. You need to make reservations for the weekends but parking is free. When I came, the waterslide and splash pad area were closed for maintenance. But it was still pretty crowded for a Tuesday! Will definitely come back to check out the rest of the amenities.

In the summer, there's a splash pad and even a water slide. There are different sections to play in, including a small baseball area, swings and a zip line. The perimeter is fenced in so kids can't run off out of the area. The bathrooms are clean and spacious, with plenty of room to change after the water play. It is adjacent to another park, so there is plenty of parking nearby. If you've got kids, this park is definitely worth a visit! Note : Their hours can be tricky in the summer, due to YL summer camp that takes place, so check their website for more info.

There's so many places…read moreto go explore, people are really respectful for the most part so there's not trash on the trails, even people who bring their kids don't let them run around screaming like in some places. Nature is very much respected. It's also absolutely gorgeous! There's little Creeks, tiny waterfalls, the nature preserve itself is stunning, they have an area set up just for little birds to come visit that is beyond adorable, the birds you can come up to you! Well at least they did with us. I've also been to several weddings here, it's a really nice venue. Especially if people put lights up and have a dusk wedding OMG Parking is free, cheaper than therapy, wonderful break from the rat race. This is by far my favorite place in Orange County to just unplug.

The court is nice and not too slippery but rims are okay because it has issues sometimes going up and down. We come after volleyball and they would lower it down for us but last time it had some issues. Been coming here for some time now and it's a great deal especially being able to rent it for a month and having a bunch of people to chip in. This location is across from the football field of Bolsa Grande HS. Parking can be hectic depending on the time you would go or if there's a high school game. But no issues for me since we play so late.

The registration process is simple and the counter with computers is straight forward. The 11 laps don't go too quick so it offers a chance to learn the track and do your best. My adult daughters and I had a great time returning here after many years and would come back. It's a little pricey so it would be a bi-annual visit for me personally.

Also there was tons of food trucks for those hungry bellies. We got 2 lanterns to decorate. The kit comes with 1 marker and a lantern with battery powered electric candle to put inside. It was fun decorating it. They gave a 1 hour window to place the lantern in the lake and that was so beautiful. With the lights and reflections in the water. Beautiful experience!
