That would have been nice to know before I spent $10 on a guest pass. You pay to park inside, or you can park off State College and just walk in, plenty of parking either way. Very dog and kid friendly, ample space to run around for both. Beyond that, the park also features a zip line, splash pad, water slide, whiffle ball area, turf field where kids were playing soccer, shaded picnic tables, and clean bathrooms. The only downside is the layout--it can be tough to keep an eye on younger kids or even older, less adventurous ones unless you're willing to climb the structures yourself. Thankfully, my kids are pretty athletic and independent, but I did notice some kids getting scared or stuck and needing help. Wouldn't hurt to bring an extra pair of hands or eyes to help watch the kids. Don't forget to make a reservation online!

Well at least they did with us. I've also been to several weddings here, it's a really nice venue. Especially if people put lights up and have a dusk wedding OMG Parking is free, cheaper than therapy, wonderful break from the rat race. This location is across from the football field of Bolsa Grande HS. Parking can be hectic depending on the time you would go or if there's a high school game. Also there was tons of food trucks for those hungry bellies. We got 2 lanterns to decorate. The kit comes with 1 marker and a lantern with battery powered electric candle to put inside. Walkways are narrow and windy which means it can be tricky to move around on busy days. If you're in a large group, please be mindful of this and don't stop in the middle to check a map or talk or something. Move to the side to let people move through more easily. The crowds aside, I think this area has some great attractions. From the classic (& admittedly hokey) Tiki Room to the thrill filled Indiana Jones ride. This area really has a little something for everyone. And don't sleep on the food! Beyond the iconic Dole Whip, places like Bangal Barbecue offer treats unlike anything else at the park. Be sure to spend some time in Adventureland. Don't just use it as your way to get in to New Orleans Square. It's worthy of spending a few hours in on your trip to Disneyland.
