We've tried many of their dishes and each one has been delightful - Incredible flavors, well balanced and delicious. I usually like their Chicken 65 being crisp, soft inside and their quantity. To my expectation nothing met today. Today I felt like tandoori Chicken converted into a 65 and its chewy, every piece of it. Smaller box and less quantity and not crispy at all. I had similar experience with schezwan fried rice 3 weeks before. Either their chef changed or their cooking strategy either way I wouldn't order Chicken 65 again here. I was visiting my daughter and we ate here. Although I live an hour away, I would happily drive back just to eat here again. The food surpassed expectation and was incredible! Between the three of us, we had chicken tikka masala, lamb korma, shrimp biriyani, samosas, cheese naan, and mango lassi. our waiter was knowledgeable and made suggestions that were helpful and informative. Food was good but service was sub standard. Starting with not accommodating extra chair for fifth person, the reason being busy Saturday night. Well it was hour and half before closing and only five out of 20 or so were occupied, did not make any sense. Secondly, there were out of salt lassi, only lasso my wife wanted. After running a half marathon, looking for something and found this place full of goodness. Lunch is buffet style and deeeelicious! Full of flavor and a plethora of options. Service was great and got a chance to chat with the owners who were very personable. My friend and I ate (more than our bellies allowed) and each had a glass of wine for under $40-$20 each. Went in with wife for Saturday evening dinner. The food was good. Almost great, but the experience was overshadowed by the absolutely crappy service. The food was brought to table, and no one ever checked in once the food was dumped in front of us. It was slightly spicier than anticipated and we both drank not only our ordered drinks but our water as well and like I mentioned, no one ever stopped by. It's not like they were that busy, the staff had plenty of time to joke and fool around together at the bar. We gave up eating, paid, and left. And went elsewhere to buy cold drinks. We picked this place based on reviews. I'd say that their reputation is more myth than reality. They answered any questions we had about the food and were prompt with food and check delivery. My sister took her leftovers home and they even gave her an additional full serving of rice! SO MANY OPTIONS FOR NAAN. Holy balls, I've never seen this many different kinds. We ordered garlic and it was great. The dal makhani was excellent and flavorful, but could have been a little spicier (I opted for medium heat). The samosa was outstanding and if I lived in town, I'd go here every day to pick up am order--filling, great flavor and texture, everything I was looking for. I don't remember exactly what my dad and sister got, but I tried some of each. My dad had a lamb dish which was very tender and rich and my sister had a chicken dish which was seasoned excellently. Food is good but comes out with no heat - medium is actually very mild. Pakoras are excellent and they have a nice mix of appetizers. I've been there several times and they have struggled with service. Dinners go for two hours and waiters seem to forget out you. I stopped in for the lunch buffet with my husband. They have a ton of options from chutney's to curries. Three types of rice from white (jasmine) to a spicy mix are available as well. I found that I really liked all the offerings the eggplant/potato dish being one of my favorites. All of the chicken served was extremely dry and the service was still mediocre at best. For lunch you want to be in and out quickly and it took a while to pay. We had that awkward feeling we should go up to the bar to pay but then did not know if that was a thing we should do or not. Four of us, two couples, stopped in for the first time, and we were absolutely delighted! Inside, the restaurant is very nicely set up. We had a corner, window table, perfect for conversation. We had vegetable fritters for an appetizer, and they were amazing: crunchy and flavorful. We ordered two styles of naan bread, regular and garlic. I prefer the regular, but the others seemed to enjoy the garlic as well. We each ordered something different. I had Chana masala. I ordered "medium" spiciness, and that's exactly what I received. The curry was flavorful and aromatic, and it's consistency was perfect. The others in my party ordered a lamb dish and two different chicken dishes. They all raved about the quality of their meals. My first time coming here and it certainly won't be my last. As soon as you walk in the door, you can smell all the amazing spices. The place was very clean with beautiful ambiance. The servers were very tentative without being overbearing. The tandoori chicken was extremely flavorful and delicious. They have an appetizer called spinach pakgoda that was crispy and lite in flavor but still yummy. The naan was crispy, light and chewy at the same time. I also tried the lamb vindaloo and lamb masala, both very delicious with tender chunks of lamb all throughout. In my opinion, the food is very reasonably priced for what you get. i always love getting malai kafta from here but tonight i got it and it was very sweet (normally isn't) and i didn't enjoy it as much. i get medium spice and there was no spice at all which was a bummer. need consistency in the spice level forsure since other times i've got in medium and it was too hot. will continue to go back but hope the malai kafta isn't sweet next time. i recommend them all the time read more

The waiter/server was quite rude to my husband and spoke to him in a manner that no customer should have to experience. We were not expecting much from an Indian restaurant in Green Bay when in town for a visit. We were hoping it would be ok. It was actually wonderful. Service was attentive and gave us a few extras. The appetizers were fantastic the entrees and sides great and the mixed naan basket was stuffed full of different breads. The malai kofta was one of the best I have had and the Manchuria cauliflower was great as well. Overall on par with the best Indian restaurants we frequent in the Chicago area. My wife and I eat here fairly regularly and it is standard, middle of the road Indian food. Not going to win a Michelin star but good food for the most part. They also have a nice mix of North and South dishes which you don't always see at one place. Their naan bread is excellent, same with the spiced basmati rice. Good rice is critical with curry and so is the spice level. Newcomers will want a milder curry but to get the full flavors you need to sweat a bit and I think some people are missing that at the buffet because the buffet food is made mild to appeal to a mid west style diet. What a great idea my husband had to try Indian food instead of sushi for our anniversary!' I was a little hesitant at first walking in at 6 pm and only one other table there, so not sure if we made a good decision! Wow did we ever! Everything was great! Our entries came fast and very hot and just the right heat( spice) that we wanted!! Mine was a veggitarian meal with spinach and mushrooms in a cream sauce with rice! My husband had a goat and veggie stew that has a strange name I don't remember. , but I did try it and it was delicious as well!! After a while eating drinking and laughing, our server offered us a mango moose for dessert as a complimentary dessert! How great was that!! We will be back for sure!! My latest few experiences at this restaurant have not been very positive. The food has been, generally, average to very good but the service has been terrible. Having good food isn't enough to pull me or my wife back into a restaurant repeatedly as we go out for the whole experience and we have repeatedly gotten bad, slow, impolite service and there have been consistent order screw ups. Onto the good parts - they have some really good food. The naan is top notch, the chicken 65 is very good, the masala is amazing and the vindaloo can be quite tasty when not made to thick. Looking for an Indian restaurant for late lunch. Usually go to Taste of India, but saw this in the old Hooters Restaurant. Thought my daughter and I would give it a try, so we stopped. Watch the times, as the close between lunch and dinner. Wow, what a selection of Indian dishes. There were twice as many options as Taste of India. The containers were smaller, well labeled and constantly refilled. Toward the end of lunch, they stop refilling, so get your favorites before then run out. Needless to say, there were still plenty of options right before closing. The food was fresh and tasty. The curries were predominant and with a nice subtle heat. There are a few rice choices, plenty of vegetarian options and a nice batch of dessert items to finish the meal off. The mango lassi was great. Ambiance is good and the place was very clean. The manager was delightful and friendly. The waitstaff were helpful and courteous. Overall, this is my new choice for Indian food in Green Bay! read more
