India Oven is a Tucson staple, come try a local favorite. Their lunch buffet is a great way to warm your belly with a variety of flavors. It features vegetarian and meat options, tons of sauces, salad, naan and samosas. This family run business is casual and relaxed, suitable for families, solo experiences, business meetings and dates.

There are many places this week that I got to visit that were new, including India oven. Although I've heard about it and seen it many times before, I've never stopped in and enjoyed anything from this place. It's quite a unique visit. It wasn't very busy when we got there, in fact, we only ate with two other groups at separate times for a moment. There's lots of seating and it's got a beautiful unique India inspired decor, with posters all around. It smells really great when you enter. We ordered the lamb tikka masala and the yellow Taka doll, both came with rice. We also ordered the onion Bughagi , naan and roti. Everything was absolutely delicious and flavored so incredibly well. Well, I don't drink soda often, I like to have a spicy drink to wash down my food on occasion and so we got a spray that we slowly slipped. Although the service was very kind, and the woman were great, the one thing that I will say is, it took us quite a long time to get service for things and we often found ourselves getting up and walking over to ask for help.

I have gone to several indian food places in tucson but this one is by far the best. I ordered tikka massala for my wife and I and fell in love everything they make is super tasty soft and has amazing taste and portions. The picture i took was from the next day cause i ordered extra from door dash never disaapoints. The naan is huge and delicious! 5/5 always great!

Naan, saag, butter chicken, tandoori chicken, some I forgot.

I went because this is the only Indian restaurant I know has a lunch buffet in the area in Tucson. The service is good. It is a family cooking family style restaurant. The butter chicken is by far my favorite. The samosas are way different than any samosa I have ever had. In the past I never liked samosas despite giving it many tries. This one suits me the most in taste. The price is very reasonable. I will come again. The owner is very down to earth and works very hard.

Tikka Masala was the best from the buffet

We went here because I heard good reviews and my son was craving Indian food and because I heard from their buffet. The ambiance was a little too dark and outdated. Carpet was dirty, and not very well organized. Their service was great and quick. The few items on the buffet were good but not outstanding. The Tikka Masala was our favorite and the naan was hard but with good flavor.

When my wife and I first walked in we were greeted by the friendliest little girl and lady. The service was great and the food was to die for! The food had the perfect amount of spice! We were treated like family and we will be back. I highly suggest coming here! I love this place!

A wonderfully run gem of a restaurant in Tucson. The restaurant staff are very accommodating-- they helped me put some tables together for my group before my friends got there. We were there for the lunch special which is all you can eat! I am a big fan of all you can eat deals and I was able to try a little bit of everything at first, and then go back for seconds of my favorites. Everything was flavorful and I especially loved all the chicken dishes. This is a Tucson staple and I will most definitely becoming back, most likely for the lunch special!

My favorite Indian food in Tucson so far! India Oven has a huge menu with a wide variety of authentic Indian dishes. I highly recommend going with a small group and splitting a couple of things. It's family-owned and they are so friendly and appreciative of you being there. One of my Indian friends took me to here because he loves it and wanted to show me a taste of home. I'm so glad he did. It doesn't seem the most put together on the inside, but trust the love that they clearly put into their service and their food and you won't be disappointed. It's fun to try some of their less common dishes, but their Tikka Masala is among the best I've ever had so it's certainly a safe option.

The meal was great and was served very fast. The aloo samosa was amazing. I liked their tamarind sauce and mango lassi a lot as well.

We waited 15 minutes for food and then they charged 1/2 price for my 2 yr old. Kids less than 3 is free at other million places we visited.

When I lived in Pakistan as a child, there was a street vendor who sold French fries and Afghani mint chutney. Dipping the fries here into the chutney was very nostalgic and brought back a lot of memories. The Qabuli Palaw and Chapli Kabob are so good. The meat is tender, flavorful, and has that fall apart consistency that makes every bite enjoyable. We also tried Jalebi, Firni, Doogh, and Saffron Tea. Everything tasted good. The Firni was more liquid this time and we were hoping for the thicker consistency we had before. The Saffron Tea is enjoyable, but I wish the flavor was a little stronger, which is more of a personal preference. The ambiance is nice. They moved things around to create more space for the restaurant and it really opened up the place. The shoppable items are now on the far wall, giving diners more room. Service was kind. Our waiter spent time talking with another family, and to be thoughtful he brought us complimentary soup. It was delicious and very appreciated. Overall, very kind service and very authentic Afghan food. Comfort in every bite!
