I showed up late one night after seeing their menu at the holiday Inn Hotel and of the recommendation of the front desk. The ladies were very nice and helpful. I received a senior discount, which I so appreciate . The teriyaki chicken was superb. When I'm in town I'll definitely be back.

First Time Customer Via Uber Eats My First Impression BOGO Egg Fried Rice(Uber Eats) Tasty flavor wise. My issue is the rice could be like Uncle Ben's boil in a bag rice. A bit dry and I felt one of fried rice seemed a bit less portion sized. Good deal in terms of BOGO. Thai Style Curry Beef- More veggies less meat is what I got. Did not come with steamed rice. Entree seemed to be in a warming pot for a long time. Beef tender, veggies good. Evaporated curry sauce(Yellow). I felt that there could be improvements made because there is potential for this business. You cannot cut corners to keep the business. I also felt portions is an issue that needs to be addressed

    Gross

Sucked ass I swear!!! Waited sooooo long for my order only to not get the right items I ordered. The food I got looked gross very sloppy plate and no rice no nothing so whoever ordered this what were they craving??? Plate was leaking everywhere in the bag didn't look appetizing at all didn't want to eat and I know sounds like a waste of food and definitely a waste of my freakin money but I threw that sh*t away cuz nah look at the pic I post it's gross looking come on Wasn't happy at all honestly should have went to like Panda Express or something and the price was stupid too maybe if I got what I ordered would've been better but nah still overpriced coming from a hole in the wall looking ass place like the spot look hella run down never going again that's for sure!!

I used to love this place and I came here many many times and had no major issues other than a side of rice being missing from my order. This time, it seems the chefs have changed. The food, preparation, quality, ingredients, etc are not the same. My egg drop soup was inedible. There was 0 flavor and the next day when I tried to have it again, it was one congealed lump. That has never happened before. The wonton strips were also missing from the order. The meat used I. Mg beef and broccoli was fatty and low quality. The sauce was thicker than normal and it wasn't enjoyable. The cream cheese wontons were lacking filling and the egg roll wasn't the same either. Unfortunately, my local go to spot has changed drastically and not for the better.

Ordered about $80 worth of food via Uber Eats. I received shrimp fried rice instead of pork-- I am severely allergic to shrimp. The bag was filled with some kind of liquid that was all over the styrofoam boxes, so it was unsafe for me to eat anything I ordered. Very disappointed.

The stuff to the right is all breading and they're still breading on the chicken that is soggy. A

do not waste your time at this place. Anything fried has more batter on it than there is chicken. Whenever they have the buy one get one free deal they definitely shorten your portions in your meal and will even add about 75% vegetables to meet ratio. I have photos of all the food and will be uploading them on google reviews. I expected mediocre Chinese food and I didn't expect anything less but man did they prove me wrong. Go here if you want fried orange flour chunks with tiny bits of chicken in the middle and if you like vegan. They should have tons of produce to serve over meat.

Awesome service authentic food. Made me feel at home affordable prices posited attitudes ,good vibes

They have their own farm with their animals and they actually have a slaughterhouse up the street as well so everything is always fresh! This place has been there since before any of the industrial stuff went up. That's why it is kind of the oddball out in this area! It is extremely large inside the decorations in there are very fitting for a steakhouse! Fun fact John Wayne used to eat there. They have his booth with his pictures up, so that's a pretty cool fact to know! The staff was absolutely amazing so informative. The waiter was probably one of the best I've ever had. He suggested different items on the menu, He told us about the restaurant, and was so helpful and so friendly all the employees were great! Timely on refilling your water and taking the food plates that were empty. It was nice how quickly they took care of everything. They had some amazing jalapeño corn cornbread the 8 ounce sirloin with the Parmesan potatoes and the 8 ounce fillet with Parmesan potatoes were divine! My husband got the house salad that he liked, I got their soup of the day, which was the hatch green chili and chicken soup, which was so hearty and delicious full of flavor. Everything about this restaurant was great. I would highly recommend going here.

However we ordered the prime rib for 2 and the meat left much to be desired. It was not as tender as a steak restaurant would usually serve. The portion was very generous for the price but some areas of the serving were hard to cut through. Only downside is that…read morefor some reason Apple maps was not accurate to finding the location and parking was a challenge as it is right on Roosevelt Row. However as soon as I found it and immediately after entering Pretty Penny I was transformed to the cutest little restaurant. I was greeted immediately and had made a reservation so even though my friend hadn't arrived yet, they sat me down. They instantly offered water and menus (food and cocktail). I noticed that the menu seemed very small and the dishes were shareable -- I don't eat meat so I was hoping my friend wouldn't mind sticking with fish and seafood (which she didn't). As soon as I got to my table there was the cutest sign that said welcome to Sarah Sherman and guest -- it was such an adorable and personal touch, I loved that! As soon as my friend got there we immediately both ordered the cold brew old fashioned -- we thought about the espresso martini but this just sounded too good to pass up -- and we were not disappointed! This drink was so tasty and strong. We immediately ordered the bread (sourdough boule) to soak up some of the alcohol as well as some oysters and the salsa. The oysters were so well spiced and were absolutely delicious. But the bread, the bread, the bread -- the server mentioned that it took almost 9 months to develop the bread recipe and it served. It was the best bread and butter that I think I have ever had! The salsa was good but probably was my least favorite of everything and it was still super yummy. We then moved on to the octopus tostadas. Sometimes octopus is not my fav -- it can be too chewy but this was so amazing and incredibly flavorful. It was starting to be my favorite dish until we ordered the Hamachi -- OMG!! Talk about a mouth orgasm-- both my friend and I were yummming it up -- but seriously this bite was so complex with different flavors coming up with every chew -- it has coriander candied peanuts, fermented pineapple, avocado, pickled fresno, toasted coconut and aji amarillo yogurt -- The server mentioned that this was the chef's least favorite dish which I totally do not understand because this was off the charts in my book. We also tried the earl gray whiskey sour, which was light and delicious, and ended with the shrimp toast and the espresso martini. By the way the toast on the shrimp toast was like a little fried dough triangle -- sooooo gooood! The martini was good but the cold brew old fashioned really stole the spotlight for me. Other details I loved that just elevated the experience: Purse hook (very important to me), the little trays for your utensils, metal coasters, incredibly attentive servers, fantastic music, great ambiance and the cutest was the penny they put on top of your check. So cute -- was not expecting such an enjoyable all around experience!! Will be back 1000%!!!

Normally their lunch sandwich special comes with fries but you can sub it out for the 3 main sides of the day. Options were corn, mashed potatoes, or broccolini. I was craving asparagus or broccolini so it was perfect for me. The greens were lightly charred but crunchy and soft at the same time. Lunch portions of the sandwich also weren't massive. The sandwich had a white fish breaded and fried. The patty was decent without being thick or oily. Good amount of tartar sauce spread on it as well. If the sandwich was any bigger then work afterwards wouldn't have been fun. Oh, also got a delicious dirty martini to pair with the food. Gin served down and it was made to perfection! Including the drink and an $8 tip the total for lunch was $48. Which isn't horrible. Been craving oysters recently so probably will be back for dinner and get an appetizer and dessert too. Good service, fresh seafood, and clean restaurant. I'll be back!
