We went here because it was in the area and I wanted to try them out. It is a true dive. And I'm not sure if it recently changed hands because nobody there seems to know what they're doing. Three people trying to do the same jobs at different times, and the same 3 people constantly coming to the table to see if we needed anything when all of our food wasn't even out yet My companion and I ordered our food at the same time. First came our soup which needed a little salt, but I would much rather have it like that than too salty. My companion ordered Mongolian beef lunch special. His came right away. However, mine came about 10 minutes later. ( in my experience if there's two people sitting at a table you bring their food out together and not 10 minutes apart) I ordered lunch special shrimp with snow peas and asked for it to be cooked with the white sauce. What I received instead was shrimp and peas in brown sauce. Even as they dropped it off I said this is wrong sauce although there were a lot of shrimp but the gentleman turned around and walked away. The woman came back out, and I flagged her down and told her. She looked at me and said do you want it with white sauce? And I said yes that's what I ordered. So she took it in the back and had them remake my meal. This a completely different meal came out. This was definitely moo guy Pan and not shrimp with snow peas on top of that there was only three shrimp. Now I personally have to really be in the mood for moo goo guy Pan. Because I don't like some of the vegetables that's in it. So that meal was an epic fail. I don't understand why canned soda is so expensive when they don't even give you a cup of ice to pour it into. And I don't understand why they brought my lunch special accoutrements eggroll, etc. separate from my guest. Normally, these things should be served at the beginning of the meal with the soup. But they really came at the end of the meal instead. And this young woman kept coming out and checking on us every four minutes or so. It got frustrating when I'm trying to have a conversation with my guest and she kept interrupting unnecessarily So in the end, I would say it might be worth going back to this place one more time to see if they can get their service corrected. And get a better flow of getting the food out at the appropriate times and in the appropriate order. I would make sure I have plenty of time to waste, because if they keep bringing out one dish at a time, it's silly that one person can be finishing up their meal when the other person is just getting theirs. Whenever they have the buy one get one free deal they definitely shorten your portions in your meal and will even add about 75% vegetables to meet ratio. It came with: Choice of Soup (LARGE BOWL, about 6 cups worth) - We got Egg Flower 2 eggrolls and 2 crab wontons 1 large order of sweet and sour chicken (not my fav, the breading was a little thick for my liking) 1 large order of beef with broccoli (INCREDIBLE flavor) 1 large order of BBQ fried rice (MY FAVORITE!) Um, can you say feast?! The sweet guy working encouraged us to move to a larger table because we would have so many dishes. ha! It is safe to say that we went home with pounds of leftovers. So, I had a flyer for this place and decided to get spoiled for a lunch delivery. I ordered a Number 13 lunch special. which is Pepper Steak. The lunch deal is pretty good and cheap. I had enough food for three meals. It comes with a Crab Puff, and an Egg Roll. Of course I also ordered a large container of the hot and sour soup. I have to say the person I spoke with on the phone was pretty amazing. The nicest man ever. Sorry not sure if he was the owner or a manager but whomever he was he was very personable and kind. He threw in a free soda since my coupon was not good for delivery and also agreed to give me a lot of extra hot mustards to help me get me through the illness days. I have been using it on pretty much everything. I am shocked I have not burned a hole in my stomach yet. Ha Just kidding. Love the hot mustard. As far as delivery goes, all was great. It was packed well and the food was delivered in half the time they quoted. Having food delivered to my complex is a bit of a pain but she/driver was a pro about it. She found me right away with no delays nor problems at all. I have to say this is the first time since living here that has ever happened. I even stopped getting any type of deliveries because it is so problematic here. I am for sure going to order from them again. Also, bonus points for nothing being missing from my order. The food was actually pretty good. The only thing I might add is the soup is not spicy at all but advertised as such. That was weird but maybe they make it to mainstream taste or the batch I got was more on the mild side. Easy fix since I just added a lot of the hot mustard to it to make it more spicy. Traditional Cantonese Chinese Food like the type I used to eat with my parents in San Francisco Chinatown in the 1970's even the plates they serve food on are the same type in SF. I ordered the Chicken Low Mein was made perfectly with not too much sauce and the right texture of the noodles not too soft but not too firm. The family style fried tofu was the right touch of veggies and tofu in a brown sauce. The people here are really nice and remind me a lot of the family run restaurants with a home style touch. A gem in the desert. Frequented by the locals and regulars. I was happy I found this place tonight during by business travels. I will be back.
