    3. Thai Style Curry Beef
    John S.

First Time Customer Via Uber Eats My First Impression BOGO Egg Fried Rice(Uber Eats) Tasty flavor wise. My issue is the rice could be like Uncle Ben's boil in a bag rice. A bit dry and I felt one of fried rice seemed a bit less portion sized. Good deal in terms of BOGO. Thai Style Curry Beef- More veggies less meat is what I got. Did not come with steamed rice. Entree seemed to be in a warming pot for a long time. Beef tender, veggies good. Evaporated curry sauce(Yellow). I felt that there could be improvements made because there is potential for this business. You cannot cut corners to keep the business. I also felt portions is an issue that needs to be addressed

    Gross

Sucked ass I swear!!! Waited sooooo long for my order only to not get the right items I ordered. The food I got looked gross very sloppy plate and no rice no nothing so whoever ordered this what were they craving??? Plate was leaking everywhere in the bag didn't look appetizing at all didn't want to eat and I know sounds like a waste of food and definitely a waste of my freakin money but I threw that sh*t away cuz nah look at the pic I post it's gross looking come on Wasn't happy at all honestly should have went to like Panda Express or something and the price was stupid too maybe if I got what I ordered would've been better but nah still overpriced coming from a hole in the wall looking ass place like the spot look hella run down never going again that's for sure!!

I used to love this place and I came here many many times and had no major issues other than a side of rice being missing from my order. This time, it seems the chefs have changed. The food, preparation, quality, ingredients, etc are not the same. My egg drop soup was inedible. There was 0 flavor and the next day when I tried to have it again, it was one congealed lump. That has never happened before. The wonton strips were also missing from the order. The meat used I. Mg beef and broccoli was fatty and low quality. The sauce was thicker than normal and it wasn't enjoyable. The cream cheese wontons were lacking filling and the egg roll wasn't the same either. Unfortunately, my local go to spot has changed drastically and not for the better.

Ordered about $80 worth of food via Uber Eats. I received shrimp fried rice instead of pork-- I am severely allergic to shrimp. The bag was filled with some kind of liquid that was all over the styrofoam boxes, so it was unsafe for me to eat anything I ordered. Very disappointed.

The stuff to the right is all breading and they're still breading on the chicken that is soggy. A

do not waste your time at this place. Anything fried has more batter on it than there is chicken. Whenever they have the buy one get one free deal they definitely shorten your portions in your meal and will even add about 75% vegetables to meet ratio. I have photos of all the food and will be uploading them on google reviews. I expected mediocre Chinese food and I didn't expect anything less but man did they prove me wrong. Go here if you want fried orange flour chunks with tiny bits of chicken in the middle and if you like vegan. They should have tons of produce to serve over meat.

Awesome service authentic food. Made me feel at home affordable prices posited attitudes ,good vibes

Dirty floor, dirty tables. Food was tasteless. Spareribs very old. Nice fried shrimp. Server was upbeat and solicitous.

He was enthusiastic and provided a worry free experience. If you had a question, he got an answer. If you needed anything, he got it covered. He provided a very relaxing evening after a long work week. Additionally, all of our food came out in a very timely manner. Now the food. For starters, I opted for the tenderloin chili which was very flavorful. Despite the cheese not looking melted on top of the chili, it was perfectly heated and had a little spicy kick to it as well. The jalapeño honey cornbread was the perfect pairing. For the entree, I went with the filet mignon which was cooked to perfection, medium rare plus. It was flavorful and melted in my mouth. Rarely do I finish a steak in one sitting but I was determined to enjoy every bite. My steak was paired with their parmesan potatoes which was like an elevated au gratin. Both items were very delicious. For drinks I had the copper spur which was a slight riff on a classic gold rush cocktail. For dessert, I had the chocolate mousse which was like chocolate pudding with pizazz. Again, both items were very good. All in all, I would absolutely return. Easy 5/5 for me .

However we ordered the prime rib for 2 and the meat left much to be desired. It was not as tender as a steak restaurant would usually serve. The portion was very generous for the price but some areas of the serving were hard to cut through. Maybe I'm just spoiled with the quality of the prime rib served at Lawry's. In any event I plan on returning to Stockyards to sample some of the steaks served there.

Say hello to your new favorite downtown restaurant! Wow, where to begin?…read more Service was amazing - they even printed out a small card with our reservation name on it which was presented on our table. Such a cute touch and very thoughtful. Our waitress was super knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. The spot is small and chic. It's very intimate dining so you'll be sitting close to the table next to you. Luckily, it's a quiet and calm space, so no need to worry about noise. The food was incredible. The salmon crudo was possibly the best crudo I have ever had in my entire life. So fresh and the flavors were balanced to perfection. The risotto changed my life... it was so delicious I couldn't even believe it. The only thing I would recommend skipping was the octopus tostada - not my favorite and a little fishy for my liking. Personal preference of course! The duck tasted great and was beautifully presented, but it wasn't my favorite. Again, I'm not a huge meat eater so take my advice on this one with a grain of salt. Overall an extremely romantic and special meal.

To start, the menu is a bit puzzling. It's kind of like a handful of Asian-inspired dishes, a handful of Mexican/South American, and a handful of French or New American. But there's not enough of each to chart a course through one type of cuisine. So, basically you're gonna have a cultural melange meal. Hamachi crudo was really good and fairly unique. The halibut was excellently prepared but not particularly innovative in any way I could tell. Zucchini had goat cheese, which wasn't immediately clear from the description, so I didn't enjoy the rude surprise I got when I took my first bite, and didn't eat anymore, as I really despise the stuff. So that was a waste. Not a dig on the dish, just a personal thing I wish I had more notice of. There were other issues though. The wine list was exceptionally small, They were out of the bread, which is supposedly a must-try. And then we were going to get the steak but the folks next to us advised against it, showing their cut that had zero fat. They said it was leather. On that point, the tables are SUPER CLOSE. Like, a couple inches apart. You hear everything and almost can't avoid getting entwined into others' conversation. We liked the people we were next to, but be aware that it's an unintentionally awkward communal experience that's not well-suited to a date night. The service was pretty good, they put out a nice printed greeting with the reservation name, and give you a sparkling wine toast. But considering the price and overall experience we had, I'd pass and not come back.

UPDATE 2026…read more Bluewater is our new favorite seafood restaurant. We went last Wednesday for HH and the bartenders are a fantastic team. They run a very professional bar. The service we received from them was next level. The kitchen did a great job too. I got the fish and chips with walleye. It was flaky goodness paired with crisp and salty fries. I washed it down with a couple smoked old fashoineds. We left with a satisfied smile.

The Spanish octopus was alright. The clam chowder was flavorful and not too salty; definitely made it into the top three clam chowders I've had in the state so far. For our main entrees we ordered the New England lobster roll and the gemelli pasta with shrimp and scallops. The lobster roll was flavorful but felt like it was missing something. The gemelli pasta tasted a bit bland for my taste buds, but the family member I went with really enjoyed it. Since we always have room for dessert, we ordered a crème brulee to share. The crème brulee was nice and not overly sweet. Overall, service was professional, knowledgeable, attentive, and the food arrived in a timely manner. The restaurant itself is quite spacious with nautical décor throughout which gives off a comfortable and relaxing vibe.

The cauliflower and golden beets were incredible too. The chef told us that the Japanese sweet potato was one of the popular dishes, but out of everything we ordered, it was surprisingly my least favorite. Main dish, my favorite, was the Sauteed N'Awlins BBQ Shrimp. I've been getting this dish for years. This time, the shrimp seemed maybe a little overcooked, or something. The meat of the shrimp was becoming a little stringy, but they were still very tender. So, I still enjoyed it.
