Hostess called the wrong 'Sarah' after waiting 50 minutes for a table, which is fine, mistakes happen, except she forgot to put us back on the waitlist which meant we had to wait even longer for a table. When we finally got seated for breakfast, we were told the kitchen was a little backed up so it would take a little longer than normal for food - we waited over an hour for our food to come, and no one came to provide us with an update until we asked for it. We stopped in for brunch around 10:00 on a Friday morning and didn't leave until almost 1:15 after waiting to be seated then waiting for our food. I will add, the Denver omelet (vegetarian with fried tofu instead of ham) was really good! We also loved the strawberry scones and chocolate chip cookies. Like I said - I would come back to grab some pastries and a coffee, but probably would not recommend this place to eat.

You can enjoy time on the grounds followed by eating outside. On my last visit I came right at opening so I could get seated right away. The menu has a good mix of traditional brunch fare and unique menu items. This visit I ordered the baked oatmeal and a cappuccino. Since it was early and not crowded the food came out quickly. The baked oatmeal was the best oatmeal I have ever had. The coffee was good too. I've been to this location a few times and will continue to revisit in the future.

I got a Marzipan Matcha latte and it was delicious! Our server was very nice and knowledgeable. I'm sure I've had her before. I got the Swedish meatballs which I always get cause I love the sherry cream sauce they out in it. It's so good. My partner got the smoked trout Benedict and he really liked it. Great portion sizes and fun flavors. Not the everyday breakfast Americans are used to. We also shared the Ebelskivers with lemon curd and jam. Those are always good and you have to get them when you go there. The one we went to was in the Scandinavian community center and it has a really nice clean vibe to it. It has large windows so there so much light. They have a little store in the building that you can browse around while you wait. It's a great place if you're down for something different for breakfast.

Located in a strip mall blink and you may miss it-but look for it and go! The interior is simple, comfortable and clean. You order at the counter and they bring it to you. There are books and games for customers. It's not fancy, but the drinks and food are quite good. We had a delicious carnitas taco the meat and pickled onions were delicious. Our lattes were smooth and full of flavor. Their syrups are house made and I wish they would sell them. Especially, the lavender and cardamom ones. I can't wait to try more delicious drinks. There is also beer and wine and a cute little side bar. The owner,Moose is friendly and welcoming. I appreciate how kind and patient he was with my mother. Bakery of fresh baked goods right at the front Piper was our server according to the receipt. She did the basic take our drink order, then brunch order. Runner brought our food and she checked on us about 15 minutes after we've been eating, asked if we wanted a refill on one of the drinks. Then came at the end and asked if we were ready for a check. Didn't upsell anything. She didnt do bad, just did her job and nothing extra, but I still tipped 20%. I came for the tiramisu french toast. $1 add on for caramelized bananas. It DID NOT disappoint. This was good. Not too sweet. Its one huge slab of a loaf. Good portion that I couldnt finish because I was too busy snacking from my daughter plate. Corned beef hash plate.. reel corned beef, cooked perfectly with just enough crispy ends and tasty goodness. Perfectly fried potato hash browns. Sour creme and sunny side up eggs with onions and bell peppers. Soo good! The chef omelette was a good size too. 3 eggs. Avocado wedge on top. My husband stry8ng to eat healthier, so this was great. Good amount of cheese as well. He mopped it up real quick Tatin apple crepes. The young teen had these and shes picky. She said it was okay. I tried it and it was great. Not too sweet. If you like apple anything, this is definitely a need to try. Mimosa flight... 4 drinks. You can choose from a variety of choices. I tried the following: mango, strawberry, guava, and passion fruit. They were more champagne than the fruit infusion. So of the 4, the strawberry had the most flavor but could use more flavor to it. The other 3 needed more fruit flavor according to my taste buds, maybe there was just more champagne instead, so im good with that too, haha. Overall a good experience and will come back again to try some other items and maybe go home with something from the bakery too (the croissant as a side came to the table and it was huge, flakes and moist! Oh! The orange juice was really good. Tasted like it was fresh squeezed!

I will say I found the service a bit off and on, as greeting and getting started was fantastic, but the follow up for after the food comes, was sad to say, nowhere to be seen. Can I get some sauce for these hash browns, nope. It was a weekday, and it was pretty empty, so one would assume the folks working wouldn't be spread so thin. I hope this was just a drop in the otherwise great dinning they are known for. I do also love that they kept the old raccoon lodge fireplace, so cute.

But when our server was with us, they were very nice and patient with my questions and requests. It's a bit loud when the place is on the full side, making it difficult to have a conversation. I wouldn't bring my girlfriend who is hard of hearing, at least with a group. I'd be curious to try more of the menu. I was very much not wowed by the breakfast. The beverages were however very nice, and I recently had the cobbler dessert and it looked amazing and tasted better. We had the coffee (Extracto, love.), I had a really good hef and my mother a very well balanced Bellini that I was very pleasantly surprised with trying. From what I saw, the lunch sounds very good and I'd be more apt to recommend folks give that a shot if they happened to be going there too. I'm not sure if I'd recommend as a must go stop. Vibe wise, the ambience is overall really nice. I think having rolled flatware, even with just upgraded napkins, would better complete the aesthetic you initially see and feel. This would also connect with the price point of the food and quality of the beverages. As a fellow server, on that note I would expect more consistent stronger visual appearance standards with servers. (Sorry guys! But some of you looked great!) Overall, I'd definitely join a friend for coffee and lunch over there in the future. Just wouldn't be my top pick for a celebratory brunch or intimate dinner with a date or friends and fam.
