What a great find! My husband and I stumbled upon this through yelp search, and what a great find! The sandwiches are large, delicious and served with a nice small lettuce salad! We had the Cuban, by far one of the best Cubans I have had. My husband got the beef tongue reuben and it was done perfectly and had more meat than you would expect. We also got a side of shishito peppers that were so good with a nice lemon flavor! We didn't order pizza but they looked good and definitely would give them a try. The service was great, order at counter and the plates, silverware, food brought to you. Had a few beers on draft and a fair amount of cans to pick from. Also had tea, soda, water etc. Inside is cute plenty of seating, community tables to share with others. We had our dog with us and she was welcomed as well. read more

This was my 3rd time back visiting from LA. All 3x I've dined here did not disappoint! It's definitely my GO TO spot in the Lompoc/Solvang area. Ambiance is laid back with long high top & low top tables. You pay for the order first & then sit to be served. The workers were always friendly & attentive. I liked how their menu had many different options & I noticed it also changed whenever I returned back so you could try something different but at the same time, keep what is delicious! My fav dish which I've ordered all 3x was the miso cod. It's flaky & seasoned to perfection. Husband wanted to try their duck salad this time & I was happy to see Escargot on the menu so we shared all 3 dishes. Everything was enjoyable to eat & the portion size was good for 2 people. The duck was tender & surprisingly blended well with the salad. The Escargot was flavorful. We even had leftovers of the fish & took it with us. The only small complaint I have is I wish the bread was more soft & less burnt. As for drinks, we both ordered a glass of red wine each. The cashier/server was very generous to let us try a few different reds to compare which ones we wanted to order. He even comped us a glass bc he forgot to charge us for one of them. We were visiting Buellton CA for 4 days. On the first day, we went to Industrial Eats for lunch. We had the Banh Mi and the Crispy Fish sandwiches. Both were so delicious! I especially liked the relish and dressing for the Banh Mi. It was so unique and tasty! The sandwiches were enough for our lunch and dinner. We returned the following day for the Fennel Sausage Pizza. It was amazing, the sausage was so tasty (best Italian sausage I've ever had). The next day, we ordered a Caesar Salad to go. The staff were all very friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed and casual. We were so happy to find a place that served innovative dishes, fresh ingredients, and such friendly staff! Seating is in a cafeteria style setting while you wait for your food. The food is the real deal. We just enjoyed a dinner with fillet, mashed potatoes, and spinach. I love this place! The one down side is that dishes come out as they are ready, meaning someone might wait a little. Amazing grilled cheese sandwich with small but delicious side salad. This place is unique. I can say the food is good. My husband had the short rib shepherd pie and is great and a good portion. The tempura asparagus & mushroom bisque soup were also very good. I would have loved to give this place a 5, but service was lacking. They brought my husband's meal out and I was still waiting. He was able to finish his meal and I still didn't get my food. Industrial Eats has such a menu unlike anywhere else - oysters, sandwiches, flatbreads, salads and more! You place your order at the counter and they bring your food to your seat. Depending on the time of day, it could be packed or you might get lucky and not have to wait long. I've been a couple times and have found seating pretty easily. They have local beer and wine available. I've loved all of the food we move tried here except for the flatbreads which always seemed to be burned, and with so many other amazing things on the menu there's plenty of much tastier options. The oysters and caesar salad are always our faves. We love the White Shrimp Garlic Toast too! Definitely a must if you're in the area. Stopped in today after 2pm, long line. Ordered "The BLT" $22 it better be darn good, loaded with quality, thick cut bacon on toasted artisan fresh baked bread. Unfortunately, I was served something akin to a school lunch, classic loaf toasted white bread with thin bacon fragments. Awful. Not to mention it was just a sandwich, no side salad or fries. I should have refused it. Prices are up everywhere and shame on me for paying $22 but shame on Industrial Eats for lack of quality and value. It burns even more that I waited 30 minutes for it. My sister and I had a late lunch on Black Friday. Despite being after peak lunchtime, there was a line to order and the front dining area was packed. We placed our order and took our drinks next door to the "Grand Room" dining area to wait for our food. We had my 2 large greyhounds with us, and they were welcomed inside as long as they were quiet and well-behaved (pretty much a definition of the breed ). It was much quieter in the Grand Room than the main room, and my hounds settled down quickly at my feet. The food was excellent. I couldn't believe the huge portions, too. Very mid. We were visiting for a wine tasting weekend and were recommended this place for a bite to eat from one of the local winery servers and it wasn't anything special. Definitely wish we stopped at a fast food place instead for a burger fr lol. The fries are just frozen fries heated up and the bbq brisket was not good and definitely heated up as well. The brisket is all chunks of fat, so gross! Cafeteria food vibes for sure. We were just desperate for some food before our next winery so ate it all but it was painful lol McDonald's woulda been better and that's saying a lotttttt. A HIDDEN GEM tucked in a repurposed warehouse decorated with artwork and hanging neon signs in Buellton, CA. If a friend had not recommended me, I would have zoomed past this Central Coast neighborhood to my destination. Menus are hand-written on a butcher paper. Make sure to get here before the busy hours. Luckily, we found a table upon arrival, but after five minutes, a mass was waiting outside to be seated. Service was a little slow but expected since it was a packed house. Make sure to check out their unique bathroom signs. It made me giggle for creativity. What we ordered: WHITE SHRIMP (white shrimp, pancetta, chile, garlic, toast) - I wish the toast were larger. Instead, it was two bruschetta toast with a jumbo shrimps on top. For the price, it wasn't enough. REUBEN (beef tongue pastrami) - My favorite entree. I am all about exploring the wild side of food, and making a Reuben sandwich using cow's tongue (or lengua in Spanish) is no exception. This taste was spot on, like a typical Reuben pastrami sandwich. The only variation is the meat used to cure the meat. WHITE PIZZA (sheep's ricotta, provolone, mozz, parm) - Quite cheesy, using four different types of cheese. I love cheese, and using variations to make cheese pizza is the best way to eat. SAUSAGE PIZZA (fennel sausage, tomato, mozz, basil) - Kinda like a margherita pizza with sausage on top. I liked it and appreciated that they made all their pizzas in the clay oven pizza oven. This place is simply magical. I've been coming here for years and everything here is not only the sum of is it's parts but a union of flavors that you just can't get anywhere else. The guys at the fire oven have their game perfected as every thing that goes in is simple but when it emerges as a pizza or a sandwich is truly incredible. Don't skip the pastrami tongue sandwich. Janet has carried the torch since its inception. She and her team offer up their standard fare such as memorable pizzas ( i .e. house made fennel sausage ), extraordinary sandwiches ( their turkey sandwich made with house baked bread and 1 sauce & one oil drizzle are absolute heaven ) and delectable salads ( Caesar salad, beet salad or the smoked duck salad that just can't be beat ). Industrial Eats also offers daily specials such as their salmon with asparagus and mash or rabbit for the adventurous. A couple of nights ago I ordered their rack of lamb. The side dish and gremolata that accompanied the lamb were both indescribably scrumptious and the perfect compliment to the entrée . Industrial Eats continues to provide our valley with Michelin - level gastronomy. This is no hype, rather an observation from a patron who's eaten here a couple hundred times. What in the Industrial Eats has happened?! I have loved and raved about this place for so long. I would even say , 'one of my favorite places to eat in California' - but when I went recently that sadly changed. Imagine if your favorite rom-com like , When Harry Met Sally , was suddenly a Hallmark movie - you'd be disappointed! Upon ordering the woman at the counter could care less what we had to order - was it because there was a long line? No , we were the only ones there. So we asked about oysters - a staple at Industrial Eats- none. They stopped ordering them we were told. Ok, ok no problem let's order the fennel salad, grilled cheese and soup and miso cod. My friend and I are big foodies so we wanted to start with that and add more if we wanted to. The salad came , but to our surprise an addition was in the salad, arugula. That wasn't on the menu. It was a weird addition and over dressed. Ok ok so let's see about the soup and grilled cheese that came out about 20 mins later. As we watched dish after dish come out to a group who ordered after us we were thinking this is 'hanger' - we are hangery but also why is it that our food is coming after? Let's see how this goes. Oh my gosh! The soup came out in a water glass! And the grilled cheese wasn't warm. It had clearly been forgotten and left out. It was gross - and again the soup in a water glass?! So we asked for a bowl. They gave us what they had as a bowl , but no matter what the soup came in it still wasn't good. Now, the miso cod , let's see how this goes... it did not go well. The cod was burnt. Like so burnt and it was swimming in sauce and nothing else was cooked. It was such a bummer. We didn't even eat it. So for a meal that cost nearly $70 dollars it felt like a disappointment on money not well spent, a meal that was so gross , cold and a place I loved for so long. It didn't ruin our road trip but now I know I won't be going back. And that is a bummer. I will say, they seemed under staffed and maybe that affected the evening. Really chill place with good food. For a small place, they have a good selections of food- sandwiches, pizza, seafood, and some Asian options. We opted for sandwiches and pizza to go with the beer and cider. Brisket sandwich- really tender meat and very well seasoned. The coleslaw was a perfect pairing. Margherita Pizza- the dough was good and toppings average Reuben sandwich- they had a little twist that the meat was lengua which was really soft and tasty but I wish it had more sauerkraut Cuban- loved this sandwich! Got two recommendations for IEats and checked out their Yelp for ideas. Wow, so many mixed reviews. Some love, many do not. The place had a cool rustic, very open space. Two XL communal high tops seat a dozen. 3 or 4 smaller low boys. We lunched on a Monday, busy but not packed, good energy. We ordered a Banh mi to share. $17. it took a while to get, but looks like pork cutlet is fresh to order. Sammy looked incredible: well charred bread/roll, piled high with veg, good size portion. My first bite was nice, fresh mint popping through the slaw and shredded carrot. The pork was tasting a bit bland. I flipped it over to see if more flavor would register, it did. Some sauce, maybe spiced mayo, Hoisin. It was slightly underdressed for me but not sloppy, refined. Later bites some sauce was coming on strong, improving. Enjoyable to the last Last bite, but not great. Very Good. Saw a pizza in the oven and it looked very small 9-10". Great looking options for toppings though. Service at the counter was friendly, plenty of staff dropping plates, napkins& flatware. Another asking my needs at the condiment station. The beer fridge caught my eye with a Chimay Blue but didn't see much local stuff. Diverse. I did see a couple of Goleta beers from down the road, so there was some representation. I almost don't want to write this because I don't want to expose more folks to the unbelievable GREATNESS that is Industrial Eats! I drove about 30 miles for their Caesar salad. It is garlicky and delicious. I also beyond highly recommend the white shrimp. Why I love IE: I solo dine a LOT and the dining room here is family style so sitting with strangers is to be expected. You are never alone! Even though you wait in line to order, the servers continually check on you throughout your entire experience. Visited Industrial Eats Monday night 4/21/25. We showed up 20 minutes before closing and we're greeted by Kevin. He welcome us if it had just opened up. Young lady at the counter answered our questions regarding some menu items. We decided both on the filet mignon served with a medley of mushrooms and mashed potatoes. The potatoes provided a smooth and creamy canvas for the steak that fell apart with a tug of the fork. The the mushrooms and sauce with chard, delicious. Hip place! It's mostly communal seating (order first and then find a seat). During the evening, it may get a bit busy with large parties. It seems like a spot where a lot of the locals come to (everyone seemed to know each other). Apparently you can bring dogs inside too. Menu had variety and options. For the banh mi, I loved it. It was very flavorful and I enjoyed the fries. They also have a pizza oven, but unfortunately we didn't order it. You can grab a drink from the mini fridge and pay at the line. Parking is shared with other stores around, but it's a huge lot so you shouldn't have issues finding parking. read more

This is one of those restaurants that I will always stop at if I am passing through the area. I've tried the Caesar salad, pizza, Shepards pie, escargot, French dip, pulled pork sandwich, and their chanterelle mushroom soup. Everything was delicious! I love the unique menu they have and always make a point to try something new. The one thing I have gotten every time is the Caesar salad. I'm not a huge salad person at restaurants since I can make a pretty good one at home but there is just something special about it that always hits the spot. The general seating and decorations make it a fun and casual environment to enjoy their food. Service has always been very nice and they are always helpful in recommending delicious new things to try.
