Nice little place tucked away in Richardson. I walked in to order something small, saw the garlic bread for $4.99 and was used to the spike in prices recently for food and assumed it was like 3 or 4 sticks.. well as you can see in the picture it's a lot more than that! They tasted great! I also got a tiramisu cake which was also really good and not horribly priced as well. Honestly, everything on the menu was a good price. I will definitely be coming back to try the other things! Only reason for a 4/5 star was because when I walked in the employee who greeted me just didn't seem to want to help me. He had his AirPod in and I had to repeat myself a couple times for him to hear me. Maybe it was an off day tho, who knows! I've been a very satisfied customer for several years. Everything I've had has been delicious. This week I ordered chicken fettuccine Alfredo and an Italian salad. The salad was great. I could not, however say the same for the chicken Alfredo. It was not white, rather gray, and tasted like onions. There was lots of green onions in the dish. It wasn't cheesy or creamy as it should be. I couldn't eat more than a couple of bites. It went in the trash. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. Well there has been a lot of competition pop up over the years olive oils Pizza stands out and has remained a standout throughout those years. This has always been one of my go-to places in the area. While there are a couple other pizza restaurants that may Edge them out on some items this place consistently delivers an overall very good product. They had an "every day pick up only special" which they advertise and I have ordered quite often (so, they know who I am). Today I ordered as usual and when I went to pick it up they said -- "Oh sorry, we just changed (raised) our prices today. Oh yeah, the flyers that we have out there are pretty old". They could have told me when I was ordering, or at least honored their advertised special. Poor customer service. They have lost my business. Have never had a bad experience with this place! The pizza is outstanding. I tell everyone, who's looking for pizza, this is the place to order from! They're friendly and helpful on the phone. I always have to order my pizza without their pizza sauce sub pasta sauce and they're so accommodating. There was one time they didn't have the pasta sauce, and you could hear the regret - truly! Ain't nothing like the real thang baby. Had this pizza when my apt bldg had a gas leak and it was ordered by the leasing office. They ordered I think every different kind. I ordered mozzarella sticks, mild wings and spaghetti with meatballs. The wings were overcooked and hard. They were not mild, they were really hot. There was only 1 and a half meatball on the spaghetti. I spent over 30. I went in to talk with them about my order and the guy was very rude and told me that it was impossible that I had these problems. He wanted to argue. I wasn't up to argue so I left. The search for the best pizza joint continues, and so far, unmistakably in the lead is Olive Oil's Pizzeria. That's right, the hole in the wall little engine that could underdog. Three reasons why I give OOP's the edge. 1) They're fast. Have yet to order a pizza that wasn't ready (and fully cooked) in 20 mins. Sorcery in their kitchen I tell you! 2) They have thicker crust than any other pizza joint I've tried so far which translates to a strong, sturdy slice when you pick it up. It doesn't go all limp from being undercooked. The crust is not chalky one iota, and the sauce is authentic. 3) Most importantly, they hook it up on the toppings like a pizza place should. It's been astonishing to me that of the many pizza restaurants I've ordered from, only ONE loads up the entire pizza full of the toppings you ordered. And that one place is Olive Oil's. Not only do other places not go full toppings, they go scarce. I don't like being cheated outta my money. I like getting what I paid for. We just moved to the area and we saw a flyer in the Valpak. This place truly is a little hole in the wall but we ordered pizza and it was remarkable. Really one of the worst pizzas I've ever eaten. Ordered a pizza where half was white and half was normal marinara. Can't beat this pizza place for price and quality. I come here more often than I should and get the small or medium thin crust pizza (about $7-8 with coupon). Flavor is good, but like other Yelpers mentioned, the toppings are usually on the skimpy side unless you explicitly ask for extra. While you're at it, ask for more sauce too.
