When he finally came back, he took our orders. Brought our drinks back. My drink was only 3/4 way full. Told my husband I should have taken a pix, my bad. But it's whatever. Our server walked by our table 6 times (I counted) and he never acknowledged us. Didn't ask if we needed anything, how our food was.... Nothing. The 7th time he finally stopped. Said something about being busy, I cut him off. Asked for a box. My husband asked for the bill. While we paid the tab, it was an awkward silence. Like he knew he messed up. Which he did. Front of house team has been consistently warm and gracious: they make the visit fun. The beer cheese remains excellent. - Aji tuna bites: this is a lovely piece of tuna seared and crusted with sesame seeds then sliced. - M got boneless wings: he seems very pleased with these. They are hunks of breast. he was pleased with the honey barbecue sauce. - The blast pig burger which has candied bacon, candied jalapeño, caramelized onion and garlic aïoli. I substituted Greer cheese for ghost pepper cheese. This is a lovely burger, but it is a beast. Huge portion. The heat builds. Ultimately, the jalapeño is not messing around. I think there is pork in the ground beef; almost like a meatball. This is a great patty. The crust is fantastic. - Mushroom flatbread: "it's all right. It's not bad. It's pretty good." Sounds to me like doomed by faint praise. - The fries are medium cut, cooked very nicely and completely awesome. They are great with mayonnaise. - Mozzarella : very good thin disks, fried perfectly. She was extremely nice down to earth and just really friendly. they just really did not have a lot of gluten-free options I asked, and the only thing that they really had was a gluten-free bun. None of the appetizers were gluten-free and of course the fries were in a shared fryer, which is fine of course if you just have a gluten intolerance. So a little disappointed by the selection. My BFF and I stopped in here for a late lunch after visiting Randyland/before heading back to Indianapolis for our long weekend away in Pittsburgh. Omg.... the macaroni and cheese here insane. Insane portion size, insane flavor, insanely low price point considering we felt like we each had a full box of cavatappi noodles and 8 lbs of cheese in our bowls. I opted to add medium rare steak on top of mine and it was so juicy and melted in my mouth. Definitely the right move for being slightly hungover. They also have 2 hot sauce options, a chipotle and a classic hot sauce, which really kicked the meal up a notch. We sat at the bar and the bartender was really nice. The bar was well-stock and she made us mimosas with no fuss. She was always nearby to ask for more water and for the check when we were ready to cash out. We loved all of the fixtures/Edison bulb lighting (it was well-lit without feeling like you're under a spotlight) and the inside was very spacious. Service was a tad on the slow side but understandable for a big group (20-30 mins from ordering to getting our food). Most folks in our group got burgers, which were very large and tasty. I got the farmhouse, which had a large slice of bacon and an egg. A bit messy when the yolk squirted out but no big deal. Definitely did not leave me hungry! Industry is my favorite late night food place. It's spacious, there's tv to watch the games, and the service has always been attentive. The fish and chips sauce wasn't a tartar sauce, it was reminiscent of Cane's chicken sauce, and it was sooo good with the meal. The cole slaw was tossed in more of the same sauce but I couldn't get enough of that sauce so the repetition was fine with me. The atmosphere is great. My wife got the turkey handheld and it was great. I got the farm out burger but there was no egg and no BBQ sauce. Our son got a burger and it was good. The other problem was the fries, there were a lot of fries in all of our orders that had black spots all the way through the fry. There was definitely something wrong with them. We didn't want to say anything because it took about an hour for food to come out and didn't want to wait for replacement food. I don't know if we will go here next time we visit because of these issues. I will also reach out to the restaurant too. This restaurant turned out to be a pleasant surprise. They have a very good draft beer selection. We both got hamburgers. These had very high-quality tasty meat. Prepared just right. We asked for the french fries extra crispy. They delivered. I like the ambience here. The only thing I would point out to ownership is on the padded seats in the booths, it is essentially a piece of wood with a worn out thin piece of foam underneath. I suggest to get better padding. I was in town for business and when I asked the hotel for some places that they would recommend unique dining, this was mentioned as it was about 3 minutes from the hotel (near Pittsburgh airport). Arrived around 6:15 and they said outdoor patio dining was still available and we were led to a table right to the edge of the patio with a direct view of the Pittsburgh valley and it was cool to see planes flying in. It was a perfect LAST official day of summer to enjoy the view and ambience. This place is really cool, whether you dine inside or out. Inside is very industrial, hence the name, with exposed venting, ceiling, etc. They have an extensive beer list of tap which the waitresses present to you on a device or on TVs scrolling the list. Our waitress, Melissa, was awesome. I told her we were new to the place and asked what she would recommend between the Reuben and the Bison burgher (note Pittsburgh spelling). She didn't even hesitate and said the burger. The food was out in no more than 15 minutes and were delightfully surprised! I took one bite and she was right - holy moly she was right! It was amazing! I ate about 7/8s of it; I couldn't stop!! Accompanied with a great Moscow Mule, perfect weather, and the view, I was so relaxed and didn't want to leave! This is our first visit to the Industry Public House. I had never heard of this place and found out that they have several locations across the city. This place is great when you walk inside bar in the front entrance and in the back. They have a lot of space in this place. Apparently they have their own beer on tap that they brew. They also have a lot of other beers on tap from other breweries here in Pittsburgh and external, including cocktails, and wine and much more. Our service was quick and on time. This is a great dining experience to be added to Lawrenceville. It's needed and helps allow the area to really thrive and do great things. Loved this place and will be back. read more

If you're looking for a brunch spot in Lawrenceville, unfortunately this is not the place. There are so many other options on the main strip, and while they might have a wait that Industry doesn't, there's a reason there's no wait at Industry. Service was slow, the coffee was weak, and cups were literally dirty that our drinks were served in. The only good drinks were the pre-made iced teas that they sold in bottles. In addition, the food was incredibly bland & other people I ate with had the great disappointment of runny eggs being served completely cooked through. On top of that, the food was all very overpriced. The only positives were the fried pickles and breakfast potatoes, but we all left and went to a different spot to get coffee because we were so unsatisfied.
