Having the interior of your home painted in the time of COVID could have proven to be an incredible inconvenience. But I can honestly say that working from home while Mike and Josh (and their colleague Matt, for one day) was a pleasure. They treated our home with a tremendous amount of respect and care. I was so impressed with the attention they paid to every detail -- whether it was the walls and trim they were painting, or the furniture they were moving to make room for their work. Mike listened carefully to what we wanted to have done to the house, and he and his team executed on that plan flawlessly. And though they worked carefully, they also worked amazingly fast -- the entire downstairs of our house was painted in three days time. Any time they moved an item, they painstakingly replaced it in the exact same spot. Perhaps most importantly, I found Mike and Josh to be incredibly kind and thoughtful. On the first day they were painting in the home I asked them to be mindful of our cats -- one of whom occasionally tries to escape. Later in the day, when a door was left ajar (not their fault at all -- the door doesn't latch properly) they leapt to action, helping me search the house and yard to make sure the cat was inside (he was). It probably sounds like a small thing, but anytime you let people into your home to do work you're never totally sure what to expect. With Indy Enterprises you can expect the very best. Sparky's did an excellent job painting our house. We noticed we had a few rotting boards on the…read moretrim around our house, particularly higher up. I didn't particularly feel like getting up on any ladders myself, so turned to Yelp to find folks who could get it done at a reasonable price. Got a few different estimates and walked around the house, and while Robert didn't provide the cheapest estimate, it wasn't too far off and he definitely gave the impression that he would do the best job. When you're doing something as significant as painting your house, you don't want to cheap out. We didn't intend to have the whole house repainted, but it was surprisingly cheap to do so. It was roughly $3500 to just handle the trim, but $5000 to do the whole house - siding, doors, garage, etc. We decided to go for it and are glad we did. The pictures show what a nice job he did with the place. One thing that I think really sets Sparky's apart from typical contractors is their willingness to go above and beyond. Robert had a helper on his first day out who didn't understand that you shouldn't power wash window screens, and he inadvertently tore holes into three of our screens. I mentioned it to Robert and he replaced them with new screens at no charge. On his last day, he walked around the house and observed four other screens that looked a little worse for the wear (though they didn't have holes). He asked if he could replace those for us as well. I was pretty shocked - we had already paid him for the job, but he was pretty insistent on making the house look as good as possible. He certainly did that! One other thing that impressed me; while he was working on the siding of our house, I noticed our dryer wasn't venting properly. I called a vent cleaning service and they said they'd be out the next day. I asked Robert if it would be a problem for them to clean our vent while he was painting. He climbed up on a ladder, pulled the vent cover off, and cleaned out our vent himself - saving me a hundred bucks! Overall, we love the look of our house after Sparky's got finished, and our neighbors have given us tons of compliments. Robert would also work 10-12 hours days, frequently staying until it got dark outside. He clearly has a great work ethic and loves what he does. I'd recommend Sparky's to anyone who wants a quality job at a reasonable price.

Outback Painting was a great value -- good price and excellent work. We had exterior and interior painting done. We had rotted wood (mostly trim) on our exterior and the crew did a good job power washing, replacing rotted wood, caulking, and painting (spray and brush). Teri helped us choose colors by bringing paint samples and painting swatches on our garage side. Crew was efficient and we are very happy with the results. In response to Todd T and his review. I had a similar experience a few years ago where their…read more"drywallers", left a ton of nail pops everywhere. I counted 24 in the one bathroom alone. When I complained about it, I too was met with a very angry owner named Denny. Just a cussing and everything. He came back out and fixed everything, but it was a hassle. I paid $3400 to him for a large and small bathroom to fix them like new and I had to have it all redone 2 yrs later. The drywallers and painters are sub-contractors too, but the painters did a good job the first time, they had sharp lines and did a great job. But when they had to paint the second time, not so much. I think they were in a hurry and just did it to get out. Plus, he used Sherwin Super Paint in my bathrooms, instead of using a semi-gloss to help protect from moisture runs in the paint. After 2 yrs I had to repaint because it looked worse than before they painted. I had the water run stains everywhere in both bathrooms. Even the paint around all 3 tub surrounds was peeling. And the repairs to my ceiling was the exact same issue I had before they came (4 large nail pops in one section), they apparently did not do a very good job when they supposedly ripped it all out and redone that section. Also wish he would had told me Super Paint is one step above contractor grade paint and that I should have used something better. The new painters used Emerald semi-gloss. The painters suggested it and said Super Paint is garbage. I did not know at the time. Needless to say, this was the first and last time I used Fish.
