Made 2 appointments for estimates and both times they didn't show. ***in response to the owners reply to my review*** Owner/Juan was not the person who called me or answered my return phone call during the initial appointment on Thursday.....and if you are the one replying to these Yelp messages, you were advised before the appointment I could not be home that day, acknowledged that info, and stated someone would still stop by to provide the estimate. Your employee didn't know I wouldn't be home and said he would let the office know and have someone call me to set another appointment. No one called. As for returning the next day (which would have been a Friday), didn't happen. No one came and no estimate was emailed. I had to message you the Sunday after the initial missed appt. If you had already stopped by and given me the estimate there would've been no need to make an appointment for Monday. The only estimate ever provided to me was after my review, which was still $600+ more than any other 4 to 5 star business I called and showed up. read more

Sent a request thru Yelp to help my parents get a free estimate to have numerous trees and brush removed from the hillside behind their house. It is a rather large area on a slope with almost two years worth of growth. An appointment was made days later and Mario came to survey the area and an estimate was given. Four other companies were also contacted to compare prices, but Inexpensive Tree Service ended up being just that..."inexpensive" compared to the others. Plus they are licensed and bonded. Once a date was set, Mario and four other workers came promptly @ 7am and finished at approximately 1:30 pm. All trees were cut down and shredded and the brush removed and hauled off. Other companies stated it would be a two day job, but I.T.S. completed it in less than a day. This company has some really earnest and enthusiastic reviews. I am going to add another one. We had a job done this morning to remove palm fronds and seeds from nine palm trees, remove a dead tree and stump and trim some other trees. They brought a crew of 10 people. The foreman's name was Albert, who is absolutely stellar along with everyone in the crew. It's very clear that they enjoy working together. They are extremely well coordinated and careful. They took a lot of care to protect the turf in the yard and the neighboring cars as well as my iron gate from the falling fronds. Albert was really helpful in updating me as the work progressed so that we could make adjustments as needed. The job was also reasonably quoted and the additional work that was needed stayed within the pricing. I checked with some other companies, and this one was definitely the strongest in terms of price. I can't imagine another company exceeding this quality of work. They took great care as well in cleaning up. Front office was very well organized and helpful. I will definitely be calling on them again going forward and cannot recommend any more highly. read more

I can't recommend even trying to work with this company. Check my reviews on record. I barely give a 1, if at all. My record speaks for itself. I just can't with the deception. We were supposed to have the trees handled yesterday. Keywords are "supposed to." I had some initial trouble getting them to schedule my estimate appointment during a time I could be available. That was a sign for real. Finally got it it scheduled and Junior came out for the estimate. He was cool and easy to work with. I asked about availability and whether I could get an afternoon time because of our at-home work schedule. He assured me that it would be possible and that they had openings the next week. His estimate was very competitive. Cool. I attempt to book. They are full-up for another 3 weeks. I'm glad they have business but it definitely wasn't wide open like Junior suggested. I scheduled and texted his written estimate back to them. I was told I'd get a call to confirm the day before and that they'd "accommodate" my time request. Their words, not mine. At 8pm the day before, I get a text, not a call. Alright, still not trippin' but, still not what was said. The text said they'd be arriving between 10 and 12. What the.... is going on here, y'all? We said 1pm. They said they'd accommodate. We were willing to work with 12pm, even though our last scheduled online conference calls would've been hard to hear. When I asked, they said they "have 3 other jobs to attend to." We interpreted that as an attempt at a power-play (aka straight stunting) and not very customer service oriented at all. I said we're cancelling. And that's what I did. Look: Their price is right. Their customer service and ability to work with customers is not. We have trees that would be handled yearly. We were looking for a company to come back ever year, without hesitation. Well, this isn't it. We're in a pandemic, your word is everything. Period. When Inexpensive Tree Service trimmed the tall ficus hedge at my house on April 22 I thought they did a very good job, and that day I posted an excellent review on Yelp as they asked me to do. The following day my gardeners pointed out to me that they did NOT do a good job, as the hedge viewed from the side, which I had not done, was very uneven. I called the company immediately and requested that someone come to discuss the issue, and I sent photos. I was told they would get back to me. No response after a few days, called again, was told by the receptionist that she was waiting to hear from the crew. No response and a week after that I was then told no one was available to deal with this and the entire crew would be away from then until May 7, and someone would contact me then. No followup occurred. I have called repeatedly and left messages since May 8 and no calls have been answered and no messages returned. It is now May 21. My next communication will be with the Better Business Bureau. The service was not exactly "inexpensive" and their inadequate work and lack of communication makes me sorry I hired them. read more

They were pretty quick with their response through the Yelp quote and came out quickly to provide us with a quote. Coordinating the work was a bit of a challenge since I had to coordinate with 2 neighbors, and Myra was amazing. When her team's availability didn't quite match ours, she didn't give up and worked with her team to make it work for us. The team arrived ahead of schedule and worked diligently to trim all of the trees. They cleaned up and we're quickly on their way after we signed off on the work. Juan came out to give us a quote on Monday and the crew came out today two days later! The quote was the best we got by $400 and it was worth every penny. The guys arrived early and on time in the window they said they would and worked all day. They removed several trees of heaven (hell if you ask me), ground the stumps down and trimmed our canary palm. Juan even called to explain some difficulties grinding a stump we had in a very narrow spot by our garage and they still did a better job than the last guys who did it half hearted. Communication from arranging an estimate to scheduling an appointment is fast and flawless. Most of the communication was done via text. Pricing is Inexpensive!! I got a total of 5 companies to come out for an estimate because it's not an easy job. One tree has several wires in between the tree branches and the other tree is on the hillside. They gave me an estimate that beat out the other 4 companies by a landslide. It's almost too good to be true! The owner Juan and his crew show up first thing in the morning at 7:30 am. Everyone knows what their assignment is. The first branch was down at 8:00 am. With the Big Boss Juan calculating the angle of each branch's fall direction and his onsite leadership. The crew was able to maneuver the branches from hitting the wires and cables. The entire 30-year-old ficus tree and its remains were disappeared by noon. They also did a great job of clearing up.
