1 star - No call No Show. They messaged asking for a Thursday appointment but never gave a time. UPDATE to 3 stars- got a call to reschedule next week. Will update after that appointment. UPDATE to 5 stars - job completed. Workers were very polite. Very mellow. There was no hollering or yelling over power tools. They cleaned up after themselves. They did knock down a cable wire but they hung it up so it's not dangling to the ground. Owner said they'll come back to secure it. I'd definitely call them for future jobs. read more

There are many reasons this company receives as many 5 star reviews as it does; Reasonable competitive pricing; professional, prompt and extremely friendly customer service; and a team of tree trimmers that know what they're doing, deliver what you ask for, and respect your property in the process! Juan, Myra, Junior and the entire crew were incredible to work with. Hands down the best tree trimming company I've had the pleasure to work with in the past twenty years. Thank you so much!! read more

We had a great experience with Luis and his crew. We had to get several trees and bushes removed from our backyard to prep for a construction project. They got us an estimate and appointment within a week. They showed up on the scheduled day with a crew of 14 and cleared up the entire year in less than half a day. They were amazingly fast and they did live up to their name - it was extremely reasonably priced. They really know what they are doing. A few of the trees were tangled up in the power lines but we could see how experienced the tram was by the techniques they used and how well they communicated with each other. They removed everything we needed removed and nothing we didn't. I cannot recommend more highly. read more

I had a really positive experience working with Inexpensive Tree Services. They were quick to respond and gave me a great quote for the job. Juan and the entire crew were friendly and efficient. They kept me informed on the schedule and my appointment window. The whole team showed up right on time... everyone was friendly and ready to work. I had a row of giant hedges with tree trunk sized bases that they removed in just a few hours. They had to avoid sprinkler lines, buried gas lines and even deal with some wet weather during the job. They cleaned up everything after the messy job was complete. I was very impressed with their efficiency and teamwork. Thanks so much!! read more

Junior and his crew were absolutely fantastic - I had a BIG yard cleanup/tree trim job in Eagle Rock that I was trying to get done while I was away. Junior stopped by to look and called me from the site, but wisely insisted that it would be best if we met face to face when I was back in town so he could go over exactly what I wanted done. When I was back, he came by the same day and we sorted it all out. He quoted and extremely fair price, and we scheduled the work for a time when I was out of town again. Junior went the extra mile on the day, calling and FaceTiming me to show me the progress throughout the day. When all was said and done it took a crew of 10 half a day to get through everything, and I've received nothing but raves from my neighbors on the work they did. I look forward to having them back for the next phase, trimming the tops of the very tall mature trees. (Also a shout out to Maira in the office, who scheduled everything and had to deal with my freakout when I wrote down the wrong day and was wondering where everyone was - she could not have been kinder!) :-) read more

Juan and his crew were amazing! Highly recommend if you need tree services. Juan quoted the job at hundreds less than other quotes...and even thousands less than some tree services provided!! We had 3 huge trees cut down and a large pine trimmed... the crew worked tirelessly and completed the job in under 2 days. The crew arrived early and were fantastic! Thanks again Juan! read more

Oscar and the crew removed our unsightly curbside ficus tree in record time! They came by quickly to give us an estimate for complete tree removal with stump and scheduled hacking of the tree in about 2 weeks! Fast, efficient and clean. 5/5 would hire again! The name says it all, but also more! Juan came out quickly to provide a very reasonable estimate, answered all our questions, and then I was able to book the job for the following week. Then Oscar, Francesco and team came to remove our dying avocado tree, and trimmed down our apple and orange trees which were intersecting and growing pretty wildly. All this within the span of less than 2 hours complete with clean up. We were amazed. Now our backyard is in much better shape thanks to Inexpensive Tree Services! We would recommend their services to anyone in need to tree services. read more

Juan and his team were amazing. They were on time and completed the entire huge tree removal ( including grinding roots and complete clean up) in less than 2 hours. Out of five estimates he was also the cheapest. Highly recommend!! read more

Hired this company to cut down and grind the stump of my star pine tree. Price was excellent, scheduling was fast, and overall very easy to do business with. Crew was on time, fast, and professional. Juan went above and beyond to help me with my specific situation. I am very pleased with this company and will recommend them to anyone! Thank you! read more

They cut down two trees for us. But we paid them to grind the two stumps but they only ground one; and they dragged heavy branches across a decomposed granite area, cutting deep grooves in the decomposed granite. Worse, they destroyed an expensive stone bench (I assume a heavy branch fell on it), piled the pieced on what remained of the bench, and left without saying telling us they destroyed the bench; then they acknowledged they had ruined the bench but refused to replace it. So while the company is "inexpensive", you only get as much as you pay for. In our case, we paid about $900, but lost about $450 for the bench, bringing the total to about $1,350. Plus we over paid $75 for the stump not ground down, and lost about $20 for the damaged decomposed granite. This is the kind of service you should expect from "Inexpensive" (you get what you pay for). If you want quality work, go to a different company. read more

From the beginning, these guys were fast in response and very prompt and emailed a quote right away. They were understanding when I said I had a few quotes pending. They checked in again and gave alternate dates when we accepted. They came out on time and cleaned up. We have very old and tall pine trees. One was unfortunately dying. Trying to find a company willing to trim such a tree is difficult. But we had them completely cut one of them down. They still finished both and some additional trimming in the back quickly. Since these pine trees are very tall, we had one of our windows break from the branches coming down. They were understanding and credited the cost to replacing it fast. They even tried a new paying system to return the funds ASAP to us. I can't stress how amazing this entire process has been. They go above and beyond and I can't recommend this company enough. read more

I had an extremely complicated large pine tree removal that couldn't be removed with any sort of a crane. Many tree trimmers came by and said they refused to quote it as it was too difficult. Luis and his team came to our rescue and did such a great job and finished in exactly the time they said they would and for the price they quoted. They are the best! read more

The prior tree trimming service I used never got back to me so I came back to Yelp and found Inexpensive Tree Service. First, I appreciate that someone answered on my first call, and she was very professional. Second, they were available to schedule an estimate right away--I think the very next day. Third, Junior, who came for the estimate was very patient with me as I asked a million questions. When I was ready to hire them, someone got back to me promptly and we set an appointment for the following week. They told me they'd arrive between 9-11am but they arrived at about 830am, which was better for me. Oscar and his crew were quick, professional and even picked up my pool skimmer to pull out debris that had fallen. Overall, I'm very pleased with their services and would definitely hire them again. read more

Excellent service. Quick response to provide quote. Removed an enormous Canary Island pine from a tight space at a reasonable price

I had an issue with 1 big tree in the front of my house, and a grove of small, but tall trees in the back. I had a great interaction with them initially - very responsive and professional. They recommended removing them, offered a great price, and we scheduled an appointment. They came in with a team and did the work quickly, efficiently and cleaned up fantastically well. I asked specifically about the chances that any of these trees could grow back or cause problems and they told me it wouldn't. Verbally guaranteed that these trees are done after this. Less than a year later, the tree upfront has no sign of coming back. But the grove of trees out back have started spreading sprouts all through my lawn and all over my property. I started digging these up only to find that the trees they cut had started spreading its roots everywhere. I kept pulling these up and using poison to keep it at bay - but it's completely uncontainable. Left alone for 2 weeks, there can be more than 200 individual sprouts. I've called, left voicemails, and even sent messages through Yelp to Inexpensive with no response. They haven't gotten back to me once over the past 2 months. I've since called two other companies with certified arborists to come and inspect this problem - and they have both claimed that this should have been so easily taken care of at the moment. Which should have started with a treatment to poison and kill the tree root system while it was still active - and then removal. Since it's already been removed, it's difficult to penetrate the root system without a live tree - it's now an intensive process to continuously spot treat with poison (which is exposing my entire yard and the people that live here every week) and/or to entirely dig up my lawn and pull all the roots for several thousand dollars. They came in with a great price, and seemingly did a good job at the time. But they don't know their trees - and they don't know how to properly take care of them. And once you've been screwed - they don't get back to you. read more

I looked for help to remove one tree fallen during the last wind storm. And, to be safe, also to trim another two which grow too tall. Juan from Inexpensive responded to my request via Yelp very quickly and offered a competitive price. To accommodate my own request, he even helped reschedule the service from Friday up to Wednesday which I really appreciated. Their workers are professional and completed works quickly. read more

I'm putting in a pool in our backyard, and I needed nine trees removed to make room. I made an appointment for them to come take a look at the job and give me a quote, but at the last minute I had a work issue. They arrived on time, however, and proceeded to text me their assessment in real time. AWESOME! The quote was very fair (less than I thought it might be, and less than the two other companies I asked), so we made an appointment for the day the work would be done. They arrived on time, ready with crew, equipment, and the knowledge to get the work done. They were courteous to neighbors as well as the squirrels! They were quick ... two hours later my trees were down and they were ready to use the woodchipper to make the trees disappear. Once they left, our backyard was cleaner than when the job was started, and there was no sign of trees or stumps. Myra (the actual boss) called me a few hours later to take payment. From beginning to end they were polite and so easy to work with. I appreciate companies like this that really want your business and want to do a great job. Real pride in their work. I highly recommend them! read more

I initially found Juan when the winds knocked out one of our trees. He was very responsive and gave us a competitive price to remove the fallen tree. Juan made the job look easy and I appreciate his can-do attitude. Thanks so much for your help! read more

Juan and his team are total professionals. Their pricing was competitive but it was the quality of their work which prompted this review. So happy I found these guys! Juan, his wife and the crew were amazing. In December I called for an estimate to remove a large downed tree from my backyard. Juan was very responsive and was able to stop by the same day. His estimate was the best compared to other companies. A month later, I called to schedule the tree removal, along with the removal of another dead tree, and they were able to schedule the work within days. Juan and his crew arrived on-time and got the work done quickly, leaving the area clean. I will most definitely be using them again...and would recommend Juan and his team to anyone in need of tree services. Thank you again! read more

Inexpensive Tree Services - Before and After - 1 downed tree; and 1 dead tree removal. Great work! - Tree Services Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Junior from Inexpensive Tree Service came out to our house and gave us an estimate for $300 to trim one olive tree which is easily accessible. They never scheduled a day to come back to do the work. We called them 4 times and left 4 msgs over a 2 week period. None were returned. VERY unprofessional. If they didn't want to do the job they should at least return a customer phone call and let us know. We will never use them in the future. We needed this tree trimmed within a timely manner because we got an LAFD notice for clearance. Thanks to Inexpensive Tree Service, they wasted more than two weeks of our time trying to take care of this. A little bit of courtesy goes a long way in business. read more

I highly recommend Inexpensive Tree Services! We used them to cut down a huge tree that was on a slope. It had roots exposed and leaning down and I feared it would fall. After reading all the good reviews for I.T.S. I reached out. They were professional, prompt and price was excellent. I also had them cut a significant amount of height from our cypress tree. I will definitely use them again in the future! read more

ITS is the company that stops me from shopping around then, and future! My tree removal journey with ITS was short yet impressive. From start to finish it was safe and smooth. The crew led by Mario came on agreed time to cut two birch trees (roots removed), cut a 50ft untrimmed palm tree, stump grinding a very large dead trunk and removed piles of brushes within 4 hours, including a final thorough clean up!! This company is very resourceful and well equipped. The owners are very communicative and easy to work with. I just can't say enough good things about them, my satisfaction is beyond 5-stars! Well done ITS! read more

The reviews are true. Called 30 minutes before showing up for estimate. The price was fair, they did want we asked, all paperwork (estimate/invoice) were very clear and they didn't leave a mess. We couldn't be happier. Messaging via Yelp seemed the best, they showed up a bit later then planned but I didn't need to be home so no worries. They called me once on-site to 100% make sure they were cutting what I asked for. Fast payment to them and moving on with my life. read more

This is my 2nd time with Inexpensive Tree Service. Juan and his family of workers are efficient, pleasant to work with, and do a thorough job from cutting to clean-up. I contacted Inexpensive Tree Services several times by message through Yelp. We set up an appointment for me to get an estimate. I waited all afternoon, no calls, no show! When I send them a message they responded that the estimator had an incident at a job and had to be taken to Urgent Care! Still, at least, as a Business they should have contacted me! I contacted them again to see if the estimator was ok and if it still could get an estimate! I was told that the estimator was ok and would contact me the same day! Did not happen! Four days later I contacted them again and was told he was on the way to the office and would contact me in 40 minutes! Did not happen! No calls, nothing! I don't know how their work is, just know that I wouldn't consider to hire them with this kind of customer service! read more

We struck gold when we decided to have Inexpensive Tree Services remove a very large pine tree from our front yard. The service we received from the moment we texted them for an estimate until today, when the tree was removed, was nothing short of excellent. They were very fast in responding to our initial text as well as answering questions in a timely, professional, kind, and courteous manner. Inexpensive Tree Services was great! I had a huge job, requiring the removal of a lot of trees, and the quote they gave me was much lower than the competing quote so they definitely lived up to their name. On the job day they did everything agreed on the quote and also removed a young pine that I added on after the quote, for no extra charge. They were done earlier than I expected, cost was exactly as agreed, and the customer service was great all around. I definitely recommend them both for value and for quality of service.
