We caught whiffs of charbroil just before noon on a hot mid-week day after shopping the thrift stores and our appetites were sharp. The spacious outdoor patio, cozily enclosedm was off the indoor bar and restaurant so that servers greeted us immediately as we arrived. The menu was scrumptious and did not disappoint. This spot is thee BEST first time we went we ordered take out and got 2 pizzas & garlic fries and they were AMAZING we had a vegetable one and a half and half of just cheese and pepperoni. The second time around we dined in and tried the inferno and classic burger they were both so good and their fries and onion rings are delicious. I really love the atmosphere and they have a great selection of food from their menu. Staff and the waiters are really nice. The place looks clean. Outside looks beautiful. It's just the food preparation could be a little better. I was sick from the chicken tenders. My salad had a layer of water underneath and that took out my dressing. One of the wraps were a bit too spicy even for someone who lived off spice. Oh and as someone who loves being eco friendly, it would be good to have recycling somewhere outside for customers. I'm in Brawley on a work trip and passed this place while I was scoping out my meeting location. I had the ribeye with fries, asparagus and a salad, and it was very tasty. The steak was cooked the way I asked, and the asparagus was spot on, not a hint of mush. Everything was seasoned very well, and the service was very attentive. It was our second time to Inferno and have eaten here the last two years when passing through Brawley. For these out of towner's and being Ron spent a good part of his childhood in Brawley it's nice to see a signal of revitalization spark in town! The restaurant's atmosphere is very inviting and hip. Seats and benches can use some cushion though and the expansive patio could be such a dynamite local for dining al fresco, but the owners of the restaurant don't seem to have a vision to make that happen. it's a underutilized space that is not inviting at all. Now to the grub. We opted for pizza and iced tea; pretty basic eh? I get it, but their brick oven pizza is quite good, I had the margarita and Ron ordered the pepperoni and we both ordered side salads. The meal was good, although the accompaniments in the side salad were slim. Our server Tim was extremely pleasant and seems really into pleasing his patrons. Something I find somewhat rare among servers nowadays. Keep up the good work Tim! Wow!!! This resturant in downtown Brawley was fantastic! We ordered yhe Cattle Call burger with fries and a chopped wedge salad. Both meals DID NOT disappoint! The burger was juicy and had a good ratio of cheddar cheese. The Worchshire Mayo was perfect with it! The fries are freshly cut homemade! So good!! The chopped wedge salad was so good with homemade croutons! The ranch is homemade as well and the best ranch that I have had in a restaurant in a very long time!! It didn't take long for our server to greet us. We ordered that pepperoni pizza (we added olives) and the tropicale pizza. They were both very delicious. I would say the pizza dough is thin crust. This is a wonderfully decorated building in old town area of Brawley. You can see the time and money to make the inside look and feel like a modern restaurant. Upon walking in there were no tables but in a short time a table opened up. The hostess bused the table right away which was great. She sat us promptly with menus but no silverware. The server came right up and got our drink order. The fish tacos we grilled and delicious. The spinach salad was good but could have used more dates and cheese. The caprese salad was a unique way to serve it. It was a beautiful tomato sliced open with herbs and cheese stuffed into it with balsamic on the plate. I decided to try the restaurant since there was a live venue. I ordered the bison burger. It was like having an explosion of flavor in my mouth. It was a great burger. On the other hand, my girlfriend decided to try the penne chicken marinara pasta. Her first bite of the pasta was unfortunately cold. The server was kind and made us a fresh one as quick as possible. This is our favorite place when coming to the area for waterfowl hunting. Inferno is well done in concept an execution. It could easily do well in West LA where I am from. I enjoy their brick oven pizza as well as the asian chili wings. They have a number of craft beers on tap as well. If you are tired of Mexican food (Almost every other place around here) I highly recommend Inferno. You may even be lucky enough to be there on a night they have live outdoor entertainment on their stage. Enjoy a bit of good gastropub in what's a fairly bleak food landscape. read more

There were no large tables available when we got there. They let us sit at 2 small tables first and took our drink orders instead of making us stand there forever.
