For $20 minus the delivery fees, i tried the lunch beef schwarma and added the baklava. the beef was barely enough i would say 4-5oz. it was dry and you could tell it was reheated left overs. Schwarma comes off the spit from what i know, this meat was chuck roast def not what was expected. the baklava also looked old and tasted soggy and oily. I would have preferred fried fast food to these left overs. Idk who is saying it's served warm its cold. Supposed to be crispy not soggy. We had the lamb shish kebab and lamb shank. The lamb shish kebabs plate came with 2 skewers. The meat was a bit over done and dry. The rice was good, the salad was very small. The lamb shank came with only one skewer, even though the separately packaged sauce was delicious, the meat was very dry and too well done. Tried both beef and chicken kabobs. Both were very good. Good flavor, pretty tender (specially the chicken) and juicy. Their hummus was very good as well. The only thing I'd say that wasn't up to par is the rice. It was a bit too bland for me and seems like it should be cooked longer. I know this wasn't a one time thing because I'v eaten here more than once and the rice is always the same. It needs to be fluffier. This small Mediterranean eatery is right next to a Korean place, which is in the same shopping center as a Sichuan Chinese restaurant. They had their grand opening in June of 2023, and it looked like they have well-established workflow already. I visited on a Tuesday for lunch, and I was the only customer dining in. There was another pickup order, but otherwise the staff was idle and chatting. The owner's young son was enjoying Persian music videos on YouTube at another table. The lunch special was a good deal at $12-$13, but I was in the mood for something more interesting. The lamb shank was surprisingly inexpensive, and when it was served, I was astounded by how large it was. The accompanying rice and salad also piled high on the same plate. Come hungry, or you'll be stuffed. The lamb shank was very tender, but while the meat was well-prepared and good quality, the flavor was somewhat lacking. I was satisfied by my meal and completely satiated, but it still left me longing. The hummus was really good, but the pita bread was store-bought. Between the two of us, we couldn't decide what kind of meat we wanted for our entrees, so we decided to do the Meat Combo for Two, and it was awesome. It let us try almost all the different kinds of meats, so that we know what we'd prefer next time. The Combo came with one chicken kabob one beef kabob, one beef kofta kabob, a portion of chicken shawarma, and a sizable portion of gyro. It was more than enough meat for two people (see pics). I think it's called toum. It's so good, just pure garlicy deliciousness! The spicy red sauce is so flavorful also. Just the right amount of spiciness that is hot while not overpowering the whole dish. The portions are very generous. My boyfriend finished his 3 kabob plate (he had a healthy appetite) I was able to finish half my 2 kabob plate and was happy to have leftovers for lunch tomorrow.
