Sesame chicken was only 1 of the best things too eat! Lots of honey & LOADED!!!!!! With sesame seeds which I love but maybe not all. The stir fried veggies had just enough sauce & tons of different veggies which is a super nice change compared to most places these days. The miso soup had a nice flavor but it's not the traditional miso soup but still good. The chicken Katsu was extremely good & the sauce. Fried just perfectly crispy & our water taste clean!!!! I stopped by here for a late lunch and I'm glad I did! The restaurant is clean, the lady who took my order was nice and the food came out fast. The portion size was way larger than I expected and I got two meals out of it. The teriyaki sauce wasn't overly sweet or salty, the rice was soft (not dried out like some places I've been to) and I loved the large salad that came with the meal. They serve a bowl of broth with tempura batter when you dine in. It was unexpected and much appreciated. I'd eat here often if this place was closer to home. read more

I had the sweet and sour chicken/pork teriyaki. My husband got the beef teriyaki and chicken teriyaki. First off the free soup was pretty good for something free!it didn't taste like dish water or something bad LOL. But the food was good. Is it the best? No, but it's still okay for its price unless you're a Rich snob person then you'll probably criticize it too much :p I'll go here again with my hubby to try other stuffs. Pro: Large portions Food is piping hot Free soup Cons: Location Food taste Price My roommate ordered spicy which lit his mouth on fire. If You like spicy you'll love it. The chicken teriyaki tasted off to me. I think it was just the sauce. The chicken was so tender and moist though. This location is in a gas station parking lot and just not a good location for the business. I never got a drink refill nor one offered. There were only 3 customers in the restaurant. She never checked on us. Our 2 meals and egg rolls was $25. It felt a tad pricey. They used wax paper to separate the teriyaki from my katsu. Nice touch! This place is mediocre at best. I had the chicken teriyaki and chicken katsu combo with rice and salad. Portions are average as far as teriyaki places go. Chicken was dry and overcooked and the breading for the katsu was far from crunchy. I ordered an extra side of rice since I was splitting it with my wife, but when I asked for more than one packet of soy sauce my request was met with attitude. I also saw that they charged for other additional sauce. To me this is bad business. You don't see burger places charging for ketchup and if you did you wouldn't eat there. tl;dr If you want good teriyaki keep looking. read more

Nasty. Just nasty. I got the broccoli chicken and it was so sweet soooo sooo sweet the sauce was weird a lot of veggies not a lot of chicken and to much sauce. My husband got the. This place is such a hidden gem! Don't be turned off by its location. Their food is spot on! My husband and I have probably tried every Chinese/teriyaki place in the Tacoma area and Meadow Teriyaki & Tea House are the absolute best! I usually always try sesame chicken everywhere we go and I appreciate the sauce they use and the fact that it stays nice and crunchy, not soggy which I hate! Definitely, a must try. read more

First time ever trying this place, and I am not impressed. The deal breaker is definitely the "teriyaki sauce". I have never once come across a sauce like their sauce. It is honestly more of a gravy. I've been to a lot of joints. This one by far the best one I've been too. Their dreams honey mustard dressing on their salad is delicious. Nice char on the chicken and perfect sauce amount.
