Based on their proven success, we hired Absolute again to do the needed repair and to skim-coat the entire wall. Absolute's Ray Rhead managed the on sight job easily and Johnny worked closely with us to ensure satisfaction, which included accommodating a delay caused after the manufacturer changed the color formulation since the original covering was applied. Once the coloring material was mixed at the factory, the next day Ray and crew completed the job. It looks beautiful. And of course I have to mention pricing! They have great, super fair pricing...they can do this because they aren't some big, bloated construction company with many levels of guys who don't actually do any of the work but still have to get paid...yet it's not just some guy in a busted up van looking to take every penny out of your pocket. It involved demolition, construction, electrical, plumbing, drainage, mechanical that even involved venting to the roof. I cannot say enough great things about Shimon, and pleased with his work. He is a man of high integrity and can be relied upon to follow through on finding proper solutions to the obstacles and problems faced along the way in the project. Our project required couple of change orderes, but we never even remotely felt like he was out to take advantage of us -- these were necessary changes. e.g., electrical panel and higher amp circuit, venting to the roof, etc. When you have a complex project that's likely to encounter unanticipated issues, then you want a trustworthy contractor who has both the capability AND integrity. Shimon has both. It goes without saying, you must communicate in detail, with specific details of your wants and needs not leaving too much for assumptions. Then you'll both be happier. If something is not doable, he'll flat out tell you as such. But he will still find a good solution for you. As our project was quite involved and complex with a lot of moving parts (demo, construction, flooring, countertops, cabinetry, appliances, plumbing, bathroom fixtures, electrical, mechanical, painting), it required good workmanship and needed to pass multiple inspections from the City. Shimon knew exactly what he was doing and scheduled inspections with the City at every stage -- demo, framing, rough plumbing, rough electrical, mechanical/roof, and then the final inspection. All inspections were passed without issues at first attempt. The final inspection required two visits from the City but Shimon was thorough with all necessary details and fixes, and it went smoothly. He is also a fair businessman and he takes payments as he completes each phase of the work. He will expect payment immediately upon completion. Be sure you're ready with a check. We had no issue with this as we were satisfied with his work and he earned our trust by making good on his promises.
