I've been going to this nail shop but it gets worse every time. First while my pedi the lady with short different color hair asked if I wanted callous removal. I said yes SMH she Put the solution then put my feet on the towel and right away started removing dead skin from my feet. I'm use to other shops wrapping my feet is plastic wrap, they do the pedi then come back so it has time to loosen the skin. Well not here they put your feet on the towel right away so the towel soaks up the product that I paid for. Now I get acrylic on my big toes just so happen on them the acrylic came off. So I made it very clear to the lady I wanted acrylic. Of course she can't understand English and proceeds to put oil on my cuticles. Which by the way she barely trimmed. I remind her again the owner comes does a half ass job trying to rush to finish her daughter nails. So I walked out of there with two different toe nail shape and more than half my cuticle still there. I'm done I'm never going back. Stay away from this shop they do fast terrible work and are very rude. If you tell them how you want things done they right away start speaking their language and will not do what you asked for. I'm very happy with the quality of work and customer service here. Susan did a very good job on my pedicure so I decided to come back. Her nailwork was well done and lasted longer than where i used to have it done. I tried the nail dipping manicure next and Tiffany did a really good job both times! She did my glitter nails the first time. I haven't done a manicure in years and it was my first time to do the nail dipping, and I was quite happy with the results. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I've made amazing comments about John. Seeing as how I have never made an appointment with John, I walked in today hoping to get a fill on my gorgeous set done 2 weeks ago by John. Today, the young lady who sat me, had 0 customer service. When I asked her how many times is safe to get a fill.. Her answer was 'oh....' Didn't even look at my face once. Anyway, I asked her about filling with a different color powder that would fade into the nude I previously had on. She agreed to my choice. Never once saying we have to change the color or it will be an extra fee.. I would have paid it. She said she would do a fill. My left hand looks good with the coverage of my previous color (nude light brown) but my right hand has spots of missing powder!! On the base of my nail nonetheless. When I called to ask for an appointment with John to correct the problem, the woman on the phone said I was supposed to pay $30 for the color change. I told her that my nails weren't up to their typical standards, and that if I was supposed to pay $30, why wasn't I told that in the salon? I would have gladly paid it. I asked if they would correct the problem? They informed me I would have to pay $30. She wouldn't give me a straight answer, so I asked her if she wants me as a customer at all? She responded: 'no'. It's unfortunate when you have hard workers like JOHN, but management has no customer service and loses customers for Him. It sucks for me as a customer, and it sucks for John as an amazing artist who takes pride in his work. Honestly, I'm going back. Just to see John. definitely my go-to nail salon. everyone here is so friendly and accommodating! I'm not usually the type to make an appointment, so it's definitely a plus that every time I've come in as a walk in, I've had no problem with getting serviced in a reasonable amount of time. I usually get a gel mani and a pedicure. the gels are a steal at $23 and I've never had a problem with chipping. they'll last me up to 3 weeks. as for the pedicure baths, they use disposable liners in their tubs which is awesome! they offer complimentary water, and occasionally I'll be given tea. love this place! read more

Came here solely based upon the reviews for John. They were able to squeeze me in for a last minute same day appointment. I came in wanting a fill and chrome powder nails. After John broke down the pricing and let me know how the chrome color fade after time, I went with colored acrylic powder per John's suggestion. And I'm so glad I did. It was about $10 cheaper than doing the chrome color. John was thorough and took his time perfecting my almond shape nails. I will definitely be retiring for another fill in a couple weeks. I probably would still go because of convenience however the new owner lied to me and said my guy John was on vacation. So I asked about a different day and they said john would be there. So the new guy that they set my appointment with seemed preoccupied because he told me his customer followed him from his old shop and had been waiting. I had this appointment set up a week in advance, so it wasn't my fault they didn't book his next appointment correctly. I'm always on time. I was so upset with being tricked and lied to. They just lost a long time customer. And my acrylics to top it off looked good but were done very thin and my nails were lifting bf pretty quickly. Very disappointed. read more

And the library is next door, too. :) The mani pedi is very good and reasonably priced. $25 (was $23 when I first started coming in). Brazilian is also affordable and good. The people are genuinely nice and accommodating. I bring my ten year old daughter with me and they treat her like a grown-up, which she likes. :) The callous removal is very effective. I do it twice a year, $7. Worth every penny. Just ask my boyfriend. Lol I have this habit of "exfoliating" his legs while we sleep in bed. I heart him.
