I'm gonna be honest with you. All those bad reviews are not true. The rice I recommend the pork fried rice. It is perfectly cooked and perfectly in flavor. My dad always wanted to get the pepper chicken and I will admit that was amazing too perfectly cooked. I definitely would want to go here again. I have been going to Infinity Palace for at least twenty years. I however have become more and more disappointed. Last night was the worst yet. It was prob about 6 pm I don't know if they were trying to close or what ...but most of the food that was out was old... I tried a little of many things like I do. Most of them were not hot enough and as I stated "old" Too hard to chew.... Quite disappointed. Dumplings with dried hard edges... pork that could not be chewed or cut with a fork... Good food selection, including shumai & dumplings, which you don't usually see at a Chinese buffet. Flavors were good & food was hot, for the most part. $18.15 for the food and drink, didn't realize the drink wasn't included in the buffet but it was only $2 so not a big deal. Staff checked on me about 5-6 times which is impressive considering I was alone and there were other tables with more people. Food is like your typical chinese fast food restaurant (like Panda Express but all you can eat) wasn't amazing, but it was enjoyable after a long day of work. The honey chicken and boneless ribs were good with a nice amount of flavor. I think they kind of cheaped out on the lighting since it seemed rather dark inside and not in a fancy/mood lighting way but, just gloomy and ominous lighting. I've only been to a buffet once since the COVID pandemic began, so I was looking forward to eating here before going to Mohegan Sun. Upon walking in, it was much smaller than I expected. I wasn't too impressed with the selections, but nothing really tasted good with the exception of the coconut chicken; everything else looked mediocre or worse. As far as desserts go nothing looked appetizing at all and I just had a cup of ice cream. Needless to say, I ended up getting another snack several hours later at the casino since I didn't eat nearly what I thought I would: The restaurant was not in good condition, and the floors were kind of wet throughout which is a big time safety hazard. The staff seemed pleasant which is probably the only reason this is not a one star review. Next time I'm in the mood for Chinese food when going to Mohegan I will skip the buffet and go to Golden Palace instead which is closer and has better reviews. read more

Last week the waitress dropped the 27$ bill then told me a different number (telling me what I needed to tip) I'm in the restaurant industry so I always tip well no matter what. A pleasant place to eat too much Infinity Palace Boofay is kind of a small dumpy place from the outside but it certainly does have some good food once you get through the doors. It's a pretty typical pseudo American, Chinese, or Asian or whatever you want to call it. But for a fairly small boofay it does have a nice variety of different items and the stuff we had was fresh and veggies nice and crispy. The décor is kind of tacky but where cares. Everything was very clean and you go to a place like this to eat and not look around. The servers were very nice, always smiling and quick to clear a plate or fill the water glass. Certainly not the best boofay in the world but pretty nice considering the price. You will find something you like to eat in here and you definitely won't leave hungry read more

Ummm....where do I begin, the buffet selection is very, very limited. I was extremely dissatisfied. A lot of the good stuff wasn't being filled fast enough & a lot of the food was at room temperature & not piping hot. Also, if you love gravy on everything like me (Egg Foo Young) don't expect to have it. Chicken fingers were small & way too crunchy too. The waitress was decent. Price was average. Would I be back? I have LOVED this place for at least 12 years. It is a place we must stop when we are home visiting, because we live in another state now. But the place has not had a noticeable update EVER. Im not sure that I can return again after taking notice of all the REALLY EXTREMELY dirty and old carpet, tables, walls, even food on the blinds and dark dirty looking water pitchers. I took just a couple pictures and talked to the owner, whom said it is how he keeps the prices low. Very limited choices and doesn't seem clean. Tables are sticky, especially the high chairs. They also charge about 60% for 3 year olds. We had lunch there last week and they charged my son $4.60, lunch price for adults are $7.50. You're better off going elsewhere. For a Chinese buffet, this place is one of the better ones. The food is never cold (in my experience) and it's always filled promptly. They have a really great assortment of food and everything I've tried, I thought tasted good. The service is great. I think they are all friendly and they cleared plates quickly. Also they refilled our sodas without having to ask. Over a year later and I had reduce this review to three stars. Getting frustrated with the service. You can go when there's hardly anyone there and still no one comes to take your plates or refill your beverages. read more

Just go into the restaurant, ask for take-out containers, and go to town filling them with whatever you want; everything is weighed, and the price per pound is very reasonable! I'm giving three stars because I've had fond memories of eating here. They used to have toppings for their ice cream, but that went away. Now there's no more soft serve. The food was good but customer service I experienced was extremely poor. The woman at the counter did not greet me as I walked in even though I told her I was "here for takeout". She did not even make eye contact with me. When I filled my box and brought it back to her she was talking on her cell phone in Chinese. I was standing there waiting for her to hang up the phone. Limited food choices with cold egg rolls. Other better buffets in the area for the price, maybe even cheaper. The staff did not look the cleanest and my wife caught one of them scratching in areas that waitstaff should not be doing while handling food. The staff were in a deep conversation with a gentleman about there cable tv when we walked in and it took a couple minutes for someone to seat us (we should have left at that time). We were then seated 2 tables down from him and heard the whole deal on cable providers. I've been going here for about a decade and it has been a bumpy road. - Food 3/5- The food is great most of the time, things seldom get cold or run out in my recent experiences. I would highly recommend trying the boneless spare ribs (they are lots of meat and little fat), or The Japanese Grilled Chicken if it is out. Have I been here when the food was not exactly up to par, of a tray of my favorite dish was empty or there were some wild kids sitting next to me? Yes, but that is a Chinese buffet. On a whole, though, the food is good, hot and plentiful. The waitress are quick and hard working, the owners are no nonsense people who keep the whole thing running. I eat in with my family or sometimes take a tray when I'm in a rush. The prices are fair. What do you want? Roaches Horrible worst experience we have ever had. Food gone down hill and service non existent. Staff had attitude and non attentive. While eating saw large bug running up my fiances shoulder. He was quickly able to id it as a roach. We could not get out of there fast enough. He ripped off his shirt and left it in parking lot. Rushed home to sterilize clothes our clothes. This place sucks went there around 7:30 and they close at 10.. 1/2 the food was gone and wasnt appealing at all the orange slices were really warm like they were left out all day. We drove 25 mins to eat hoping to eat crab legs but noooo they don't serve them anymore..cheap asses that's the main reason that we went there.
