    Dim sum
    Soukanya P.

I love having dim sum here! Service is great and food is so delicious. Loveeeeeee their chicken feet in black bean sauce. Tripe with scallions and ginger. These two dishes are must have dim sum items and we ordered two of each! Scallion pancakes were delicious. Sui Mai were generous portions! I had to cut it in thirds to eat it; definitely not a one biter. Chinese broccoli in oyster sauce is my favorite vegetable item. These two dishes stuffed eggplant and steam rolls were good too. I could eat this every single day! Ambiance is nice. Clean restaurant. I can't wait to go back!

despite the name, top tier authentic place -- packed full of multigenerational chinese families on this saturday afternoon. tried only small selection this time around but rice rolls (beef), deep fried taro puffs, salted egg yolk buns were all solid. the buns were huge

Truly the best in town! This is my second time eating here. Once in the restaurant and once for takeout. Each time the food has been incredibly fresh and delicious and everyone that works there is so friendly. Whether you need a quick dinner option or a nice spot for date night, it's got it all. A few of my families favorites are pork lo mien ribs sweet and sour chicken steamed pork dumplings general tso's chicken

We went here for dim sum before. We decide to come here for dinner. When walk in there wasn't that much people. The owner was at the other room so waited to be seated. There air condition broke down so they had to open the door and the fan. We order different foods and it came. The foods was ok.

Good food with good price. Chowfun beef is so tender, noodle is soft and tasty. Best Chinese restaurant around here.

Came with my family for New Year's and it was quite splendid apart from some minor points which I will go into. Service was attentive despite the busy atmosphere from it being the holidays. Our waiter was very blunt with our questions and at one point he stopped us from ordering more because we were unsure if what we had would be enough, LOL! Appreciated that because the portion sizes are indeed large and great for families. Started off with the seafood soup which was a bit bland in my opinion but I still had two bowls of it because I was starving. After the soup, the rest of the dishes started trickling in. The lobster was $72 for 2 lobsters which was the most expensive thing we ordered. It was decently good but I was not like WOW you know? Tasted like a lobster with simple seasoning, the taste didn't live up to the price. The salt and pepper soft shell crab was probably the best dish. It was very crispy without it being drenched in oil; super light. Very umami and seasoned to perfection. You have to order it. Steamed flounder was tender and the meat was milky. Like the crab, super light and fresh. Also did not have a pungent fishy flavor or smell and was marinated in a simple soy-based sauce that wasn't overly salty. Peking duck was normal, a bit too greasy for me. The baos were so good though, they were fluffy and warm and I could've eaten the baos by themselves and called it a day. Fried pig intestine were good as well; they were not chewy like some other restaurants make them (which is a good thing imo). House fried rice was very garlicky and delicious. Finally, Chinese broccoli was amazing and cooked to perfection down to the second. Had a crunch when you bit into it but still soft, it was amazing. For 8 people the bill came out to $300 including tip, which is not bad at all! Very family-friendly restaurant with great portion sizes and great staff. One thing I want to ingrain If you come here is make sure to get the salt and pepper soft shell crab because it's soooo decadent.

This place was amazing! Definitely one of the best asian noodle dishes I have had and I think about it on a weekly basis. The appetizer items I got was pretty standard but also yummy. I would definitely come back again - especially to try their dim sum

Beef lo mein w/ thin noodles. Not bad. Beef was tender.

Was in town visiting some family and stopped in here for some dim sum. They don't do the push carts like some other dim sum restaurants. They just give you a sheet and you fill it in. I photos on the menu. Most likely it'll be easier if you frequent at dim sum restaurants. Service wasn't bad--not the friendliest folks but doable. Food wasn't bad. One of my favorite dim sum items is chicken feet. Unfortunately flavor was a bit lackluster. It was a bit too soggy and flavor was a bit on the blander side. Edible though. I didn't expect soup dumplings there and they had it--they weren't bad. Enjoyable I thought. Beef lo mein was okay--beef was moist. Shui mai and har gow wasn't bad. Very moist and didn't break apart. Flavorful. Overall, it was a decent meal. I'd lean more to a 3.5 star for this review.

The food is alright, but this restaurant is not honest. The price on the menu is not what you pay for. For example, an order of House famous seafood fried rice listed as $14.95, Seafood with pan fried noodles listed as $19.95, the bill charged $6 higher, plus pro-rate tips, an original order costs $28.90 plus tax, ends up being $50.

Came here on friday morning right when they opened! We were seated immediately! This is a great local restaurant, we were headed to Foxwoods casino, and wanted some dimsum. This place is a solid dim sum restaurant! It definitely can compete with the NY ones! The food was delicious, and much better priced than NY! Very authentic food! Service was great too! You check off what you want on the menu, and they bring it out to you! Food was fresh and came out fast! Will definitely be visiting it again!

From the dim sum menu, we ordered the deep fried taro dumplings, steamed shrimp dumplings & our favorite, stir-fried Chinese broccoli with garlic. I wish we had more people so we could order more dim sum items to share! From the regular menu, hubby ordered the lunch combo #14: jumbo shrimp with vegetables, golden fingers, fried rice & egg roll. Ordered all of the new choice credit items- 4 veg spring rolls; 8 sesame balls; 2 sodas. I also ordered the fire roasted pig. So total was $100CC. The guy that works there (the one kind of shaped like a bowling pin) is not there to make any one happy. I asked for hoisin sauce for the bbq pork and he's like he doesn't give sauces to choice credit customers. Also you can't get 2 different flavors for the 2/$25 soda "deal". The spring rolls were basic. Not bad not good. The sesame balls were slightly better. For the size of the balls I don't think that they'd have filling but I was pleasantly surprised. The tables are artistically beautiful. How ever about 4 or 5 tables were pushed together to make 2x2 (to seat 6 people) But each and every one of these table pairs were like so wonky they were like at 45° angles facing each other. Also every single table we came across was so sticky and greasy. It took about 20 min for our order. And it was very slow. Only about 3 other tables in use. No lines for orders. No one came around to wipe down tables or any thing. It's a bummer that this is one of the few places that you can use choice credits for guests under 21. We walked up and the guy at the counter handed us a menu and we asked "so do we just go sit?" Everything is served to-go style, even if you are eating it there. I got sweet and sour chicken and a side of fried rice and my friend got the noodles. My sweet and sour chicken was good and the portions were huge, I felt like I wasn't making any dent. The noodles and the rice were very bland, even after adding some sauce. I probably wouldn't get those again. Overall it was decent.

Sidewalks were torn up but the place is hard to find with lack of signage. We were able to get seated right away, and looked through their digital menu. We got a smattering of dishes, wontons and dumplings, a sandwich and a ramen. Food came out in a reasonable wait time. We took pics and dug in. The 7 flavor dumpling was the star of the show. Light and thin dumpling wrapper, savory sweet sauce, plenty of filling. The pork dumplings were good, but the wrapper was thicker and denser. The twice cooked pork sandwich was pretty tasty, the pork needed to be more present compared to the veggies, but appreciated the crisp of the bread. The ramen had a good amount of braised beef and noodles. The broth needed a little doctoring to coax out some of the more savory notes. Broth needed more aggressive seasoning though. The price was not too bad for the area. It's kind of like dim sum, where you get a small plate for the price but it's all shareable and the flavors are good. It's not very well lit, gave the place a very dark air about it. But as a restaurant, it's pretty good.
