VIP service? yeah if you do not want the soda, water, ice and beer they advertise. Professional drivers? Yeah if you consider jeans a t-shirt and a visor professional! Top of the line fleet? Yes they are if you consider ripped seats, holes in the wall where a stereo used to be, no working air conditioning, lights that do not work and a filthy floor top of the line. I rented their party bus and was told I would get a 36 passenger then they switched to a 28 no big deal. Upon pulling up and entering the bus looked great. It was a very warm day 90 at at 9:00am. I asked the driver while we where waiting to turn the air on and he said it was and it would get colder when we were moving. Well it got hotter not cooler! The kids were all sweating as much as the adults! Upon arriving at the location we had to remove all of our belongings. At the agreed upon pick up time I went outside to NOT find the bus waiting and 15 minutes after the pick up time my driver called and stated " the bus is out front(it was not) and he sent the white one and its air conditioning works great and it is very nice, I sent you the big one." Well I found out by "Big One" he meant the BIG PIECE OF CRAP! Lights that did not work, no beverages, NO AIR CONDITIONING and it was close to 100, a hole in the wall where a stereo or something used to be, rips all over the seats, a filthy floor and a driver in jeans, a t-shirt and a visor. Let the sweating begin! At least in the first one the kids had the dance lights and the dancing poles to occupy their time. This one was well lets just see how much you can sweat. Needless to say what was supposed to be the big highlight of my daughters birthday party was a 700 dollar let down and a waste of money. To be honest it was still a little expensive considering they were driving from Wilmette to Northfield to Glencoe, but less than the other: $840 for a 3 hour minimum for a party bus of 28. We also didn't need it for the entire 3 hours, but the options I found were either one way or 3-4 hour minimums so this was the best deal. I found their communication to be stellar both via email and text. The bus driver was on time and the kids had no trouble locating the party bus when they came out of the dance and I've heard it was one of many party busses. A few of my daughter's friends hopped on for the way home and commented that this bus was way nicer than the one they took to the dance from another company. Overall, it was a success. The parents could have easily driven these kids ourselves, but the party bus elevated the experience and the kids all seemed to enjoy the VIP treatment.

While my group and I made the best of the situation and enjoyed ourselves simply because we were together, the condition of the trolley and the service provided were incredibly disappointing. First, the photos and descriptions on the website are very misleading. The trolley looks modern, clean, and well-equipped in the images, but in reality, it appears to have had little to no upkeep. The bar areas were dirty, there was no ice as promised, the TVs didn't work, and there was no light show. The heat and defrost didn't function, which made for a very uncomfortable ride on a cold night. Additionally, the blinking lights throughout the trolley suggested an electrical issue, which was not only annoying but also concerning. On top of that, the driver was rude and unprofessional, further souring the experience. While the company did issue a $200 refund, it was nowhere near adequate for the significant shortcomings of the service, especially considering we paid $930 for three hours. I suspect the overwhelmingly positive reviews for this company are not entirely genuine, as my experience does not align with the five-star reputation presented online. I hope this review serves as an honest account to help others make an informed decision. While I appreciate the partial refund and the memories my group and I made in spite of the circumstances, I would not rent from this company again. If Limotainment wants to maintain their reputation, they need to improve the upkeep of their vehicles, ensure amenities match the advertised descriptions, and prioritize customer service. Attached are two photos of how the trolley looked when the lights were off, and then when they popped on all by themselves. You'll notice the old fashioned, kitchen-like fixture in the ceiling. Nothing like the laser light show in the photos that's on the website. I wish I had taken photos of the empty dirty bar areas, with no ice that was also supposed to be provided.

For what I was looking for, they offered the best pricing, and I assumed they would know the area as their office was close to our destinations. Over the phone for the booking, I felt like they took a lot of notes for the details/requests. I had a couple of things that did cause some frustration. 1. Multiple charges to my credit card. (They accidentally charged me for each quote instead of the final amount) It took several calls and emails to get them to refund the overcharge payment. 2. Upon booking, I was given one driver's contact information. As I was trying to organize wedding guests, I provided the original driver contact information to guests. A different driver called me the day of the event. It didn't appear that he received all of the notes for the event. As I was in the midst of being busy with wedding prep, my maid of honor took control to get everything/everyone organized . Another positive: The car we booked was the car received. The car was clean, and everyone got to/from the event safely. Driver was friendly.
