The setup is really cool, every business is operating out of a shipping/storage container that you u a see on boats or 18 wheelers. The menu is short and sweet, straight to the point where it's chipotle style where you can pick and choose your toppings. My husband and I drove downtown to get a açaí bowl at this location inside the Churchhill. We were highly disappointed. The women working inside the little kiosk, were super nice. But we waited an absurdly long time for our bowls. Like 25 min, we were the only ones waiting. But that wasn't the most disappointing part of the experience. These bowls are not cheap. A "small" is $10. So we both ordered a small. When they came out we were both shocked. They are INCREDIBLY small. So small that we thought they accidentally made them in the lid instead of the bowl. Nope. Actual size. Think about your average açaí bowl, and divide that by 1/3. That's the size you get here. They were good, but not great. I felt so ripped off and disappointed. Best smoothies and Acai bowls in the Phoenix area hands down. It's the only place that isn't adding an absurd amount of sugar. AFAIK their sweeteners are house made and all natural using dates. AWESOME! All their ingredients are super fresh and high quality. I appreciate that over quantity, any day. The bowls look small BUT I am always full after eating them - when the body gets the nutrients it needs, food can be surprisingly satiating. Who knows, but I did end up with some delicious acai from a much more courteous establishment. Update: the company's reply is exactly the same kind of service I received when we went to order, well before 8pm. Let's think about this- the employee would probably get disciplined for closing early and garnering an unfavorable review for doing so. Of course she would say I came after closing to avoid getting into trouble. I went to Berry Divine down the street afterwards for a much better experience and have a timestamp of my purchase at 7:47 pm.
