Hooray! Finally, someone who knows what they are doing is using this great space to give our neighborhood a much needed place to hang out. No offense to the previous proprietors, but I avoided "Pete's" (both of them) like the plague-And I live literally up the street. Now it's a cool, comfortable space with a great beer selection, the partial food menu is already ample, and I for one will be sitting at the bar whenever I get the chance. I'm on board! I've been to this place a million times, but in its previous iteration of a wing-slingin' sports bar. But oh boy has it changed. First, I'll miss the wings, I'll miss the sports. But I'm glad for something new here. I stopped in with the Ladyfriend and took advantage of some Denver Passport deals, and enjoyed some fun James Bond themed cocktails. Priced a little high, decent in strength, but quite good. As per usual, unless I have a coupon I stay away from "specialty cocktails" because they're overpriced and not really worth it to me. We took advantage of the Truffle fries, that you'll recognize from the owners' other bars, namely Jonesy's. They were top notch, really tasty, and I vacuumed them all in about 3 minutes. We also ordered the Kummon Iwanna Laya pizza. Giggity. It was quite good. A decent thin crust, bacon & pineapple with cilantro. Plus a spicy/sweet chipotle sauce (that was way way way more spicy than sweet) that tied it together nicely. We opted for a side of ranch to dip the pizza in to cool things off a bit. It worked! Food was great. Service was fun, we got Hello's and thank you's, and please's and the chef came out to drop off food too. Everyone was great! The decor is a massive departure from the previous bar, and they eliminated probably half the seating from the entire place. But they've put in a pool table, opened things up, made it more inviting. I don't think they've ever talked to a designer, but they don't need to. They're doing quite well with the current fad of "Hey let's take a bunch of completely random things from a certain era and throw them together!". It works for them quite well. All in all, great stop with good food. I didn't get a look at the beer menu, but that's what I'll be heading towards when I go back. But with great service and a better utilization of the patio than the previous bar, I'll be back! See you soon, Ingas. read more

This place used to be Prickly Pete's and when it was there was a terrible odor that assaulted you upon entering. Inga's has transformed this place into a glorious watering hole with no trace of an offensive odor when you walk in. Inga's serves drinks named after Bond films. Seriously, how can I not want to drink all of them every time I go? Not only are the names great, the cocktails are well made. The ingredients correlate to each title rather well and definitely come together as well composed cocktail rather than as a college guy trying to come up with a "cool" drink. Inga's did not change the design of the space much since it was Prickly Pete's. The space has already had a great patio that lends itself to spending hours in the Colorado sun. I was very surprised that more people were not at Inga's the last time I was there, but maybe it's because it was 2:30 PM on a Tuesday. (If you are looking to take advantage of the Colorado sun in the middle of a tough day, Inga's is a great choice). The menu has a lot of tempting items. It would be very easy to gorge while enjoying a drink in the sun at Inga's. I especially enjoy the pizzas and the fries. I am very glad that Inga's took over this spot and cured whatever cancer was causing that reproachful smell. Inga's is a fantastic spot to spend time and money with friends. read more

Heard from the folks at Jonsey's that this place belonged to them. There are some common menu items but little else in common. Bad music. Sports and James Bond on TVs. Place was pretty empty yet the food took forever to come out. Too many tickets, too few (read: one) food preparer. It was our mistake to try eating here. Come drink if you are inclined. If it's anything like our visit you will want to drink heavily. Food: Jonsey's truffle fries are good. Wings ok. Meatball sandy spicy. All acceptable. Inga's has the feel of a neighborhood bar (and it definitely attracts the locals like me) but with its cool, inviting, indoor vibe, open, spacious patio, great servers and diversity of events it's a great place for everyone and definitely worth the trip from anywhere. Check the web page because at Inga's while you enjoy their tasty menu (try the specialty fries) you can play trivia, join a poker tournament, dazzle the world with your karaoke skills or dance to live music. Of course, the big sports games are always on and it's a great place to watch your team, especially the Avalanche. Ingas is close to our house and we had been excited to try it for quite a while. The atmosphere and decor is fun and the drinks looked good. However, the food left a lot to be desired. My green chili burger was simply a burger patty with a can of basic green chili poured on top, and then some non-melted shredded cheese. Fries were also subpar. It was weak and disappointing. My wife's meatballs were cold and similarly unappetizing. Overall we were very disappointed in the food here, although as I said the bar did have a fun atmosphere. read more

We went to Ingas on a Tuesday and sat at the bar, Mae was our bartender. She was happy and attentive. She always had our drinks full and checking in on us. Can't beat that bartender service! On sunday, my husband and I went back for the $3 beers during NFL, yes we frequent this place. Sat out on the patio and Hector was our server. It was a beautiful day to watch football outside on the big screens. The bar was busy but we never had an issue getting beers and food. Great food, atmosphere, and seating. My girlfriend and I have wanted to give this place a try 3 times now because we live so close and it's great to just come and hang for awhile. However, customer service is atrocious. We came in yesterday and sat in a booth, waited 10 minutes for service, then 10+ more minutes for our drinks, asked for water two different times, as well as wanted more, but the server was behind the bar serving others. There were only two servers and the other one ignored us every time she passed by, as well as serve 3 female customers (one with a toilet lid over her neck), as soon as they came in. Perhaps, regulars? We were going to order more food and another drink, but our server never came by or we couldn't get his attention. He almost never came back to the table to grab the credit card I already had ready from the check he gave. Some customer interaction would be cool...we could have walked out without anyone noticing for 10 minutes. This was the same as the time before and it sucks they can't get the help they need or customer training done. Not saying we won't be back, but there was another couple next to us that was ignored and another across the room that got up and left after waiting so long for service. read more

Our waitress was great. One of the staff members was sitting at a table with her family chain smoking cigarettes, clearly ignoring Colorado law. None of the staff would correct this, or say anything about it. Not exactly a nice patio to be on, and also completely illegal. Not cool and honestly really disgusting. I've driven by this place a number of times over the last couple of years as I used to live in the neighborhood. It's gone through a couple different changes, and this was my first time ever there. Wasn't sure what to expect, but was actually quite happy with the experience. A friend and I met there for happy hour and ordered a few drinks and apps. The drinks were good! Our server was really nice! We had a pretzel (probably won't get this again. Wasn't bad, just seemed like a pretty basic pretzel), pizza (real good), and poutine (we saw someone else had ordered this and had to try). All of it good! I've been to Inga's several times since the opening and every time it gets better & better! From the James Bond themed drinks, (which for me, a 007 fan who played WAYYYY too much Goldeneye in college that it added an extra semester), to the Bond Girl Boilermakers you'll feel like you're hanging out in the Casino Royale! What's a Bond Girl Boilermaker you ask? Well friends have a seat and let me tell you a tale of awesomeness! I've had the Mayday (Inga's brew with Fireball) and let me tell you it is easier on the eyes than Grace Jones, and the "I-had-to-order-it-because-of-the-name" Pussy Galore which was Dry Dock Apricot Blonde with a shot of Peach Whiskey, both solid in book if you are of the "beer & a shot" mentality. Last visit I had the buffalo chicken pizza and it was top notch, right amount of hot sauce, plentiful chicken, perfectly melted cheese, and a crisp (not crunchy) crust. There was an overabundance of bleu cheese crumbles on it for my taste, but other than that a phenomenal feast! The service was exquisite, the staff from the bartenders to the waitresses are fast & friendly to everyone! On a random Sunday evening a couple weeks ago I decided to stop in for a drink and ended up playing Cards Against Humanity with some of the staff and other patrons for a good hour or two, and it was a LAUGH RIOT!! The bar is decorated in a way that makes me feel cozy. Had a beer and just chatted with a few friends. Not too loud, comfy seating. Happy hour specials look good, but I got there too late. I think the hours are from 3-7pm: $3 wells, $4 featured spirits, $1 off drafts, $5 select wines, $3 for fries, chips & dip, or a corn dog, $2 off any pizza... They also have daily specials, so on Monday it was $2 cans. They have a cool looking patio also, but unfortunately is was rainy when I went. Pretty solid place. Excellent service, chill crowd, decent location, and understand the food is good. Could be good place to watch games. Only things to consider: music may be a bit too all-over-the-place. Nor quite a place to be expecting hip-hop club music (Alpine Tavern concept), so maybe want to stick to rock, alt/classic country, blues, lighter punk rock, Americana/folk, etc. Also, beer is not bad, is well poured, but limited in range and quality. At least one good porter or stout year round would be awesome. We'll be back! read more

The service was OK. The food was OK. We ordered a pretzel with cheese. There was nothing special about the pretzel. In fact, it seemed like it was a pre-made frozen pretzel. The cheese sauce was just plain disgusting. It tasted like it was made from reconstituted powder. Some of our party ordered the coconut curry mussels which they loved. The coconut curry sauce was not overpowering and had the right amount of spice. The coconut flavor was perfect with the curry flavor. The hamburger was cooked to order and on a bun that did not fall apart. It was tasty but nothing special. The pork tenderloin sandwich is huge. It was cooked well and very moist and tender and all the veggies on it were very fresh. It was just too large for the bread and quite cumbersome to eat. The margaritas were a bit sour and just OK. The decor of the place is a bit odd and comes off as dark and dirty. But, you also get the feel its a quaint neighborhood joint frequented by mostly locals from the neighborhood. read more
