He is easy to talk to about almost anything. Dr Park is my Dentist. He has a great bedside manor. He listens to you and knows how to solve your issues. He is a family man and is dedicated to Inglideside Dental. I have gotten crowns there and they fit perfectly the first time. The utilize 3d imaging to produce them. Very high tech! Veronica at the Front Desk is a great communicator and is very helpful with arranging and rearranging appointments. I've recently started with Ingleside Dental as my dentist that I've had for nearly 30 years has retired. I am impressed with this place. All the staff is very friendly and welcoming from the reception to the dentists and hygienists. They are very professional with modern equipment. It's the first time I've ever had a full 3D scan of my teeth! Dr. Park showed me from the scan where I needed work. The first visit I had my teeth cleaned and two subsequent visits I had a treatment for cavities and a crown replaced due to a cavity. It was all done within two weeks, no long intervals between visits. Dr. Park was my dentist and he was very careful with the novocaine, so it wasn't painful. There are TVs on the ceilings too so you can have something to watch you're getting the work done. Wow! The reception desk provided estimates for the work to be done deducting the expected payment from the insurance I use. I paid the invoices at the time of my treatments. Two weeks later, to my surprise, I saw refunds from Ingleside Dental! I checked my insurance claims and saw that how much the insurance paid Ingleside and how much I was expected to pay. Ingleside Dental refunded the difference without me having to contact them. I didn't use it, but I see from their website that they offer different payment options and have their own dental plan. I highly recommend Ingleside Dental. Two thumbs up! read more

I can't say enough good things about Ingleside Dental! I have Delta Dental HMO, which essentially translates to having no insurance. I looked into several dentist offices, knowing I would need to pay out of pocket, and joined Ingleside Dental's 6 month plan, which is reasonably priced. The cost included a cleaning, X-rays, and 3D scanning. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and professional. Dr Tammy explained everything she did at the cleaning and subsequent filling, and I felt informed throughout the process. She's gentle and keeps your comfort in mind. My husband went in to the office last week for a painful tooth. The dentist told him he needed all of this work that would cost us over $7k out of pocket with insurance!! We decided to get a second opinion before forking over that much money and it turns out all my husband needs is a root canal. The dentist he saw didn't even have the correct tooth. He also told my husband there was no infection but the second dentist gave him antibiotics due to an infection. With the root canal the total was under $2k. Stay far far away from this clinic and if they give you a quote, get a second opinion. We will never come back to this clinic again - beware! When mouth pain happens we are willing to do about anything & often don't care how much it costs, we just want to feel better. Had another amazing experience at Ingleside Dental today! Everyone in the office goes out of their way to make sure of that, from the front desk (April and Veronica), my dentist (Dr. Betty), and even the manager Richard! Dr. Betty's treatment is always very gentle and she spends a lot of time walking me through all of my options. I feel like she's never in a rush and that I'm the priority every time. She's also given me a lot of tips on how to improve my dental routine. And, she's so fun and bubbly! I've never had a dentist who makes me feel so taken care of. My first time going to a dental office in a very long time so I was much overdue for a cleaning as well as some concerns I had that were more on the cosmetic side. It's my first time being under a new insurance carrier (Sunlife PPO) in years and I've heard some of my coworkers having difficulties trying to get coverage at certain dental offices through them (hassle, lack of coverage for services). The X rays, cleaning, and 3D scan were all covered through my insurance carrier and I didn't have a single issue. The front desk had given me a breakdown of what payment options I had if I chose to begin the process of using Invisalign and I did not feel pressured to make any decisions on the spot. Dr. Tammy did the cleaning for me for my appointment and was extremely thorough with any concerns or questions I had and was very kind as well. I didn't feel obligated to have any additional services performed (like I've had at other dental offices such as teeth whitening or night-guards) and even gave me some advice to try to do some at home care (which for me has always been unheard of in all my years of dentist visits). Every staff member that interacted with me was extremely kind, welcoming and professional and I did not feel uncomfortable at all. They also sent me text message reminders of my appointment and kept to my scheduled appointment time which is always important to me as I'm on call during work hours. Best of all was that I was able to get an appointment for my cleaning the next day which is almost impossible to do in San Francisco with a reputable dental office. Today I had a really bad experience here. I made a appointment here for teeth cleaning. Before I came in,I did consult the the price through my dental insurance with the staff in the Dental office. They've told me I'm all covered. And insurance should cover two times teeth cleaning for a year. BUT,Today after I've happily got my teeth cleaned and left. They sent me a text message : "Hello Mr. Liu, this is Richard from Ingleside Dental. I forgot to talk to you about the balance due. Your plan has a payment. I sent a bill in the mail last year. I will resend again after the insurance processes today's appointment. Please keep an eye for the mail." What the hell? They told me I'm all covered for teething cleaning. Now I got another $100 bill from last year teeth cleaning. And I should wait for another $100 bill in the mail for this time. It's just teeth cleaning. I paid my dental insurance $30 monthly. And I still need to pay another extra $100 for teeth cleaning. How sad! I ASKED BEFORE I CAME IN AND MADE SURE I DIDN'T NEED TO PAY EXTRA. THEY TOLD ME I'M ALL COVERED. So I went back to talk to the man over the counter. He told me just :TALK TO THE INSURANCE. They are private dental office. They Charge with insurance. How could I know the professional item they deal with insurance. All I care and want to know is How much do they charge from me after my insurance. And they promised me No Charge before I came in. I'm so disappointed. I said I'd just pay anyway. I'm done with it. I don't want to worry about more bill in the mail in the future. And the man over counter said he wouldn't charge me this time. I just moved to the bay and was looking for a dentist to do my bi-annual cleaning. My friend referred me here for preventative dental care and this is where I'd be going from now on! I was surprised to be greeted by Dr. Park in the front desk. I scheduled an appointment as a new patient for cleaning and it took 1.5 hours total in the morning. My hygienist was Tammy and she did a great job in cleaning, removing stains, polishing and adding fluoride treatment. What I like most is that she took her time to go through each of my X-ray photo and explained to me how I could take care of a vulnerable tooth to avoid future cavity. The place is clean and the staff is friendly and respectful. They gave me a dental care kit after I left. I'll be back for whitening in 6 months. read more

Dr. Park and his staff are so awesome. My previous dentist used to own this dentist office but she left- leaving my family and I adopted under Dr. Park's wing. But we really got lucky to score such a great dentist! He is byfar one of the best dentists I've had through the years of bi-annual cleaning check ups. Super personable and knowledgable. His office hours are very suitable for all types of schedules as well. From people working Banker's hours or parents with children, I believe he opens later and closes later on Tuesday and even has hours on Saturdays. TLDR: Excellent teeth cleaning; my mouth is saved (thanks to Dr. Betty) Now story time... and the time for my first Yelp review :) The day before the time of this review, I was sitting on the guest chair in Ingleside Dental, waiting for my girlfriend to get her teeth cleaning done. She had some opinions about my dental health already; and sitting on that chair in the clinic got me into thinking: when was even the last time I visited any dentist? At those moments of self-reflection and judgement, I decided to pull the trigger, and book a teeth cleaning appointment for the next day. One of the best decisions I have ever made. On the day of reckoning (ie. the next day), I was accepted as Dr. Betty's patient. She explained everything to me like I was two and a half, from what would the procedure be, to how the X-ray scans of my teeth would he interpreted. After the scans were taken by another clinician (who was as patient with the scanning machine as I was a patient in the clinic), Dr Betty came into the room and did her magic. She first gave an overview of the issues with my mouth; and I was damned! I had cavities buildups, black tartars 5mm deep in my gums.. You name it! After putting some Pokemon on the TV for my own comfort and safety, she went ahead and spent 2+ hours cleaning that mess called my mouth (that was way more time than what was originally planned). She made sure to get all the dirt out of it. At the end, she did such a good job that I could feel every single teeth in my mouth with the tip of my tongue. She even gave me a tutorial on how to floss properly. My teeth were saved from some serious future disasters! Fellas, I highly recommend this clinic!! read more

I called on Tuesday about breaking off an entire tooth. I haven't been to the dentist since I was in high school and I have always had a phobia of them. My mom immediately sent me the link to Ingleside Dental and the number and told me to call ASAP. She said let them know it's an emergency, and ask for Richard. She assured me everyone was so nice and that her and my father have seen two of the dentists here. I called and was greeted by Richard! He asked me if I was in any pain explaining what happened and was very nice! He was able to get me in the same day. I was coming from Berkeley so the timing was nice. When I arrived I filled out some paperwork and got a tour of the office! Everything is so beautiful and clean. Everyone is more than friendly. They are currently being remodeled but it's beautiful, and quiet, and peaceful. It doesn't have that dentist smell or anything. After my tour I was put in a very nice room with a big window! I met with my dentist, and she quickly did x-rays. Everything I needed done was thoroughly answered and explained to me! Richard went out of his way to try to get me a same day appointment to fix my tooth but I had him hold off (due to financial reasons) and he quickly placed my appointments for me. They give you a warm mango towel when you leave, too . If you're in the area, or not! (Me) definitely don't hesitate with this dentist! I had to wait for an whole hour for a 5 minute check-up!! And this is not even the worst part, the worst part is no one even bothered to offer an apology for wasting my time, not the dentist/owner, not the receptionist!!!(except the dental assistant). When I showed that I am upset for the long wait, the receptionist (Richard) basically said well this is what you should expect when you have an unplanned visit...( I called at 10am and he offered me a 4:20 appointment without mention a word about the potential freaking long wait!!) so I take time off from my work to come in on time only to sitting at your waiting area for a whole hour?! Does you business have any respect for your client's time?! Btw, this is not an one time event, I had to wait for 40 minutes each on both of my two pervious appointments too. There are two things that upset me so much here: first is the waiting, clearly the business is scheduling in way that maximize the number of clients they can see each day in expense of their client's time. The second though, is the customer service, the terrible and unapologetic way they are handling an upset (with good reason) customer. The dental service itself is fine, not bad nor impressive. You won't be able to find any other doctor better than Dr park and his wife. The staff is amazing, Richard is so friendly you feel right at home. As a tricare prime remote healthcare user, I did not know where to go for dental care. As with many military personnel, our teeth are always neglected. Coming back from deployment, my teeth was in bad shape and confused on which doctor is good. Finally found Ingleside Dental, through lot of considerations, I decided to give it a try.
