It was quite good, although I think it could have had a bit more shrimp and calamari. My son had the ribeye with mushrooms, Mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked as ordered, and the mashed potatoes were very good. I had the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich which was pretty average. The staff, from the hostess to the waiter, were all great. Service was good. This is a sports bar/restaurant. It's a good place to come for a steak or a burger or....Not necessarily the best meal you will ever eat, but good steaks and other food, a good selection of drinks, and a nice place to pass a few hours and watch a game.

It has open floorplan surrounded by TV's mounted all around the high ceilings. In the center there is a very nice island bar and low lighting above tables and booths surrounding it. Once seated our waiter came fairly quickly and asked if he could get us started on anything. Being that we came on a weekend evening, we were pleasantly surprised at the quick service. We decided to start with the Pickle fries. For our entrée, my husband ordered the Wagyu burger and avocado & onion rings to his burger. I opted for the Napasort burger with fries. After ordering, I decided to use the restroom and found that it was in a very awkward place. You have to walk down a very long hallway, with minimal lighting, passing a glass room with patrons. I definitely did not feel comfortable and decided to not use the restroom again the rest of the visit. Once the food arrived, everything looked great. The pickle fries were okay, but I think would of been better, maybe cut as slices? My burger was very good and I could barely finish that and the fries. My husband like his burger and said he can't wait to come back and try other dishes. He also loved his beer, Lost Coast IPA. Our waiter was very attentive, all the employees were nice and the food was good. We definitely want to come back if in the area in the future.

We have visited a number of times over the years. We sometimes make it a stop along the route between our home, and Walnut Creek, where we spend a fair amount of time, because, frankly, Walnut Creek's dining and entertainment scene beats the heck out of pretty much any other city in the East Bay - and is safer. So, The Fourth Bore is a worthy destination for good food and drinks. We've gotten the mushroom pizza every time we've been in, it's very good. The Fourth Bore is also a tap room, so great selection of beers, and unlike many beer places, this one also sports a full bar, with great cocktails. They have a nice patio with a fire pit, perfect for colder nights. The other night we asked for the fire to be put on for visuals, but it proved to emit way too much heat for an August night. In the winter, however, it's perfect. Grab a seat, settle in with some yummy pizza and a cocktail or beer of choice, and enjoy!

We have been here and a few times before seating inside and out. This evening it was out next to the fire pit which we had them turn on for us then realizing how hot the fire was and the outside temp, had them turn it off. Andrea a beer and berry lemon drops and I had had some champs. I tasted her drinks and they were excellent. When I'm driving I'm a bit of a tea totaler so stuck with a glass of champs. We've had the aforementioned pizza before and I for one would pull off the 24 just for that. Parking can be difficult since it is right downtown, as much of a downtown Orinda has. The place is not right on the street. It's tucked away in a plaza. Great beer selection and full bar. Besides pizza the menu is full of burgers, wings, mac and cheese and just about anything else you would want. Next times I'm going to try a few more selections like burgers, Philly cheese steak and others.

It's also a nice way to experience a Michelin one-star restaurant without committing to a full dinner. The biggest highlight here is really the view. If possible, try to reserve a seat on the outdoor terrace. From there you get a direct panoramic view over Napa Valley. On a nice day, sitting outside with the sun, vineyards, and rolling hills in front of you feels incredibly relaxing. Even just slowly enjoying lunch while looking out over the valley already makes the experience worthwhile. As for the food, it's very much in line with what you'd expect from a Michelin one-star restaurant. The presentation is elegant and the flavors are refined. It's not heavy or overly bold; instead, the dishes focus more on balance and highlighting the quality of the ingredients. Nothing felt overly flashy, but the execution across the board was very solid and well thought out. The lunch prix fixe is especially worth considering. Compared to dinner, the price is much more reasonable while still giving you a good sense of the restaurant's cooking style and overall quality. If you're already planning a trip to Napa Valley, stopping here for lunch can make the whole outing feel a bit more special. Service was also excellent--professional but not overly formal. The pacing of the meal felt comfortable, never rushed but also not slow. Overall, this place is really about the combination of food and scenery. The dishes alone might not be the most mind-blowing in Napa, but when you add the terrace view overlooking the valley, the whole experience becomes memorable. If you want a relaxed way to try a Michelin one-star restaurant without the full dinner price tag, lunch here is a great option.

Local here! I've…read morebeen to this establishment 5-6 times over the past six months, and I was honestly hesitant to write this review, but I feel like others should be aware of my experiences here. I usually order a slice or a couple of slices for myself and my family. One thing I've consistently noticed is that the slices are already sitting out and then put back into the oven to essentially warm them up. Because of this, the quality and cooking are never consistent. I've received slices that were burnt, undercooked, or simply didn't have enough sauce or cheese. It's frustrating when you're paying for something and never know what kind of quality you're going to get. My biggest issue, however, is the customer service and organization. The older gentleman, who I believe may be the owner, has always provided me with great service. Unfortunately, the younger employees have been a completely different experience. They often seem distracted, unorganized, and unprepared to work. I've never been there when there were more than 1 to 2 customers, so it's not like they're dealing with a huge rush or being overwhelmed by a busy restaurant. Today was the final straw for me. I called to place an order, and the young man on the phone wasn't really listening. He even stepped away from the phone for a moment, and when he came back, he hadn't gotten my order the first time I gave it to him. I sent my boyfriend to pick up the order about eight minutes later, only to be told that they had no order under my name and didn't have my pizza order at all. At that point, my boyfriend simply ordered the slice I had wanted pepperoni with pineapple and even then, the pineapple wasn't put on the pizza. I understand this is a pizza place and mistakes happen, but after multiple visits with inconsistent food quality and now another issue with an order, I feel like something needs to change. The staff needs better training, organization, and attention to detail. If you're going to work somewhere, you should at least be prepared to listen to customers and get their order. I really hope management takes a look at what's going on because the older gentleman has always been great, and I do believe this place could be much better with the right staff.

Service was a 5/5 - always attentive, from water refills, ordering, etc. Drinks - we got the Italian Gin and tonic and a dirty martini. Both were made perfectly - the gin and tonic in particular was so fun and got spicier as the drink went on. Food- We tried the Insalatina di Cavoletti di Bruxelles and the arancini to start. The brussel salad had such wonderful light yet unique flavors, I feel like it was one of the best salads I've tried in a long time. The arancini were so so - not bad but maybe just not my thing. For our main we split the carbonara - we were told it would be quite al dente and rich. I will 100% agree with those comments - to me it was almost like completely al dente, giving you a gum chewing texture. The flavors were rich and complex but I think eating this myself would have made me way too full. They ended the meal with a light little birthday dessert of cookies which was great. The raviolo was my favorite, but definitely very heavy. On the other hand, the arancini, steak, and cacio e pepe all needed a touch of salt. I think if you're going to share everything, try not to order 2 cream-based pasta dishes otherwise it may be too rich. Service was fantastic. We asked if we could be moved to a more intimate two-seater and had no issue with that. They also gave us a free mini birthday dessert, which is always a really nice touch to the meal. Overall, it wasn't the best/one of the best Italian food I've ever had, but I'd come back and would be interested in trying some different dishes.
