Initially when walking in, we were greeted by a hostess who immediately seated us. When looking around the establishment, there was a lot to take in. It has open floorplan surrounded by TV's mounted all around the high ceilings. In the center there is a very nice island bar and low lighting above tables and booths surrounding it. Once seated our waiter came fairly quickly and asked if he could get us started on anything. Being that we came on a weekend evening, we were pleasantly surprised at the quick service. We decided to start with the Pickle fries. For our entrée, my husband ordered the Wagyu burger and avocado & onion rings to his burger. I opted for the Napasort burger with fries. After ordering, I decided to use the restroom and found that it was in a very awkward place. You have to walk down a very long hallway, with minimal lighting, passing a glass room with patrons. I definitely did not feel comfortable and decided to not use the restroom again the rest of the visit. Once the food arrived, everything looked great. The pickle fries were okay, but I think would of been better, maybe cut as slices? My burger was very good and I could barely finish that and the fries. My husband like his burger and said he can't wait to come back and try other dishes. He also loved his beer, Lost Coast IPA. We made reservations online to come here for our anniversary. (First time coming here) when making the reservations we were able to pick which seating location we wanted. Patio, sports room or dining room, we chose sports room. The sports room had many tvs to watch from! We got to the restaurant 20 minutes before our reservation time and they still sat us, it wasn't busy when we got there but it sure started to get busy once we were heading out! We got the chicken Cajun tacos for an appetizer and OMG! Those were so good! Comes with a hot sauce but it was not spicy at all and my boyfriend doesn't do spice and he loved it! My boyfriend got the wagyu burger and he loved it and said he would get it again. I got the prime rib melt sandwich and it was delicious, the meat was perfect where I was able to bite into the sandwich and not have it all pulling out. I also got the summer peach cocktail which was really good! We also got ranch for our fries, the ranch was good but very garlicky! We got the mac n cheese, it wasn't our favorite, not much flavor. It's an upscale sports bar- big screens a nice wrap around bar and you have a good view everywhere - the staff is very friendly and made good suggestions on what to eat. I wanted to enjoy a night in Napa at a local steakhouse without having to break the bank. Napa sport was definitely the winning combination. They had a great menu and I like that I wasn't overwhelmed with options. I tried the appetizer of shiitake peppers and enjoyed the entree of prime rib. My server was quick and always attentive to our needs she let me know that the prime rib would take a little bit more time than expected and I was okay with that. When the prime rib was brought out I was happy to see it was cooked to my liking and it was a thick cut of beef. The mashed potatoes were excellent with the right amount of butter and cream. The night Ambiance got better when I was able to see the All-Star game at the same time that I was enjoying my dinner. It is in the same plaza as the movie theater so parking is not a problem. We were in a private room since it was a table of 8. It could definitely hold more people, but I did appreciate the extra privacy. It was right near the open kitchen and had blinds to cover the surrounding walls since they were glass and near the bathrooms. Overall food was fine. It was quite good, although I think it could have had a bit more shrimp and calamari. My son had the ribeye with mushrooms, Mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked as ordered, and the mashed potatoes were very good. I had the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich which was pretty average. I bought gift cards from Costco, and the website made the food look excellent. I would say it did not hold up its part of the bargain, food was mediocre. We walked in for 3 people, it took a while for us to be sat or be recognized. The portions of some things were decent and some were not worth the price. We tried a variety of appetizers which was almost the $100 of the gift cards. The place was very spacious with the bathrooms very far from where we were sat.. so my toddler had to run to the bathroom for him to make it without an accident. We were sat in a secluded booth close to front and bar area. The food was mediocre: Deviled eggs 4/10 only received 2 , I felt wasn't a lot for the price with decent flavor. I could have made the same for less. Shishito peppers- 9/10 great flavor, came out hot with plenty of peppers and the sauce they served with complimented it well. (I believe the server said tartar sauce) Boneless buffalo chicken- 9/10 can't go wrong with chicken wings Garlic fries- 8/10 had a great garlic taste but could always have more Chicken tacos- 6/10 very dry, they had a special so the tacos weren't on their menu but seem like they had chicken that they needed to hurry and use and decided to make tacos. Thank you to Mike and Team...they were very accommodating and excellent when it came to my son's 16th bday. I had made reservations about a month in advance but due to graduations and overall busy life, I requested to move my son's celebration date a few weeks out. They were so nice and accommodating and made the process very easy. I had planned for a party of 20 and wanted to make sure most could attend and it ended up being a party of 16 with a couple of last minute cancellations. We arrived 30 min early and Mike made sure the table was set up and let us get settled while waiting for our guests. We brought a cake and he was kind enough to take it ff my hands. We had people trickling in and some late arrivals, but our server was so nice and checked on us and made sure we had drinks going. When all guests arrived, we were able to order and food arrived with good timing. I was impressed- a party of 16 and we didn't wait long for everyone to get their meal! Awesome!! I've dined here before and burgers are always great as well as that crispy chicken sandwich! This time I had the fish and chips- it was a very general serving of 3 pieces of fish and tons of fries! Most plates were taken away empty!! When we were done eating, our tables were cleared and they brought out the cake. We were able to sing happy bday and with a small cake fee, our cake was cut perfectly and served- THANK YOU!! I thoroughly enjoyed being able to dine with my family (almost kind of private to be honest) there were no other diners near us. Most of them were seated near the bar area. Not old squishy corn you get at most places. The lobster, shrimp and chips were fantastic. Fresh and not over cooked. Juicy and thick chunks with just the right amount of seasoning and batter, layered over truffle fries. YUM!!!! Service was phenomenal. Our server, I believe was Patricia. Unfortunately I was so overjoyed by the food and experience that I may have her name wrong. ‍ it's pretty crazy. For a transient area, you don't expect what we experienced. She was attentive, gave fabulous recommendations, checked on us regularly and was just a pleasure. The kitchen made a minor mistake and we were more than ok letting it go but she removed it from our ticket, and insisted on us taking an order to go. Said I couldn't miss it. Thank goodness too. I love the vibe at this place. I am a sports junky so it's perfect for me. We made a last minute decision to have dinner here on a Friday night and we surprised to be seated at a nice high top in the bar area. We were greeted promptly with our drink order and then food. Off to a great start. My friend ordered the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich which was excellent. I ordered the Wagyu Burger medium rare. It came well done. I asked for a new one that was my temperature. This gentlemen who was not our waiter brought it out promptly and said it was absolutely cooked to my temperature. I cut it open and again no "pink". Honestly I didn't feel right about sending it back again so I just ate it. I will say it was very tasty. When our waiter came over to check on me he took one look and apologized. After landing in Napa and grabbing a quick wine tasting, we wanted a nice bar atmosphere to grab some drinks, appetizers, and watch Monday Night Football. This place definitely felt more like a sports bar lounge rather than an upscale steakhouse like they claim. We sat at a high top near the bar and our server took great care of us. The wine we both wanted was sold out so we switched to something else and they gave us a generous pour to apologize. We ordered three appetizers to share which were the nachos, tuna tacos, and fried pickle spears. We were honestly impressed with all of it with the nachos being the most basic. Came in Thursday evening and was sat in a very nice back corner table and had such great service from this young cutie Alex, 10/10! We started off with the NapaSport Margarita, F*CKING DELICIOUS! I love a beautifully made drink and this hit the spot. The margaritas ended up being half of our check total but who cares it was worth it!!! Visited to watch game 1 of the finals - Warriors vs Celtics. Although I was sad about the outcome of the game, Napasport Steak House was a good call to visit for this event. Just to be safe I called a day prior to make a reservation for a party of 2. Any seat around the bar has a great view of the TVs, plus the audio was good enough to hear and enjoy the game. I loved everything about the ambiance of this place lol clean, modern, and seemed like they can accommodate large parties if needed. The service was quick, but I will say they might need to print out more menus? Wait staff kept visiting our table to borrow our menu for other guests. Although there's a menu online it was kinda odd. Food was decent. Here's my rankings: Pork belly sliders off the happy hour menu - 5/5 Thai chili flavored wings - 4/5 Cajun chicken tacos - 3/5 (didn't taste Cajun at all, sauce was more ketchupy than salsa or even Cajun sauce?) We've been here quite a few times over the years and not once have I been "WOW'd". I was hoping that this time would be different. Considering that they name themselves a ''steakhouse", the three stars are only given to your customer service. First off, we told the waiter to bring the food out all at once, but they came at different times. When my daughter and husbands "medium" steak finally came, it was totally overdone in. The nice waiter was very apologetic (though of course, it wasn't his fault) and he put in another order for us. The next steak came and that one was totally raw inside! By this time, my son and I were done with our meal while the waiter ordered yet another steak that came out some time later and it was mediocre at best. No flavor and still not really done right. We were told it was the last steak so we sucked it up and ate it anyway because they we're starving! And to make matters worse, the chimmichurri tasted like old stale jarred chimmichurri. I would've bet money that was NOT made back there in the kitchen. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE.... Revisit the name change of your restaurant and do not call it a steakhouse. It really gives customers the impression that your steaks are done right and we don't like being dissapointed. Now with all that being said, I will admit that the customer service from the manager to make it right was superb. I'm a firm believer in not being a jerk to people who prepare your food! So we really did try to be understanding, but when your HANGRY, it really takes self control and forgiveness! The menu had some nice steaks on it, and a variety of other choices. But it's not your standard steak house menu. More like an average restaurant with a couple of good steaks. The service was terrible. We changed waiters twice, and they kept forgetting about us. At one point, we had to go inside to grab someone to help us. The food was marginal. The food is tasty and the atmosphere is upscale, but still comfortable. My husband roots for a team that is out-of-market and he felt very comfortable here, seeing fans of teams from all over the country. The one thing that made it less than a five-star experience for me was that I had a reservation for a table and got to the place on time. A guy at the check-in station said he'd check on our table and then legit disappeared. Other people started pouring in behind us, while a girl came and seated them immediately. We stood at the check-in station for about 10 minutes, with no one helping us and no sign of the guy. The girl eventually came up to us and said, "Oh. He must've disappeared." She then went on to help someone else. Luckily, two people vacated the bar and we took their seats. Half an hour later I get an automated text asking me if I'm going to show up for our reservation. The appetizers, drinks, and michelada will keep you entertained as much as the staff and what seems to be like 20 TVs all competing with one another to keep you up to date from your favorite live streaming sports event. The excitement is as invigorating as much as being at the stadium itself, though the quality is obviously nicer at Napa Sport. I've known the owner Michael and bartender Nick for 15 years, their customer service and respect is why I started showing up & their leadership clearly inspires the rest of the team. This place is hit or miss. A few items on the menu are not bad. Beer selection is not good. No ambers, reds or Marzens. All light beer except for Guinness. Bartenders are what brings me back. We waited very patiently thinking maybe our server went on a quick break, but server never returned. The place wasn't packed, several empty tables. Had to be a good 30 min wait until we came to our senses and walked out.
