The breweries we went to were great, but what really made the difference was our tour guide, Carrie.

The van was fully decorated, and champagne served and music on. Our first stop Maurice Carie, Tasted wines, enjoyed a great live band, charcuterie, and a fabulous pastry, baked Brie. Eddie showed us the Barrel Room and shared some information about the barrels. Our next step was Lorimar winery, we enjoyed wine, live music, the outdoor patio was packed with people having a great time. The air was chilly, but they had heaters for comfort. They served a buffet meal which was quite delicious and generous! Our server at Lorimar made herself available for anything we needed. Eddie, our driver even fetched our sweaters when we needed them. This was event first class, fun, and no hassle. We all had a great time! The only challenge, which is typical at public events, long bathroom line for the women at Lorimar. This place was rockin' and with music and dancing!

Its a fun concept; meet at a designated spot, get picked up by a cute bus that has a trolley-like…read moredesign, which then takes you to three different winery's. Debbie was our guide and Kurt was our driver. When you get to the winery, Debbie provides you with a drink card. You get six taste tests (1/3rd of a glass) that is checked off by the wine stewards. The whole adventure takes about 4 hours. Overall, it was fun and a great opportunity to try different wines and see the beautiful wineries in temecula. Now, why the 4 star rating?? ~The bus featured a great sound system where we could choose songs from an ipad. But it was unbelievably warm inside. It was a hot day and the AC seemed to not be working, leaving most of us sticky. We were told to open one window at the front and at the end of the bus to let the air flow. After the first stop, most people just opened all the windows to get a breeze. One guy was close to just taking off his shirt. ~We felt that one of our stops at mount Palomar winery was rushed. Our package did include a charcuterie. And we ordered some other appetizers right when we arrived. We ended up having to cancel them since it still wasnt done and we were heading out. This also led to rushing to get the remaining sample tastes. A reciept check showed it was a 30 min visit. ~My other minor disappointment was that our guide stated they could only take photos through their phone and not our own. But Debbie's photos often came out with this unfocused glare. Rather than something crispy clear. So we took group selfies instead. You might want to take a selfie stick.

Our Creative Careers in Hollywood program had the pleasure of working with Clarence as our bus…read moredriver for several weeks of site visits and industry engagements across Los Angeles, and he was absolutely fantastic. Clarence was patient and flexible when our group inevitably ran behind schedule, communicative about traffic and travel concerns, and always helped us adjust plans as needed. Coordinating transportation for a large group in LA is no small task, but he made it feel easy. Beyond that, he was simply wonderful to work with...professional, friendly, reliable, and always willing to help. He quickly became an important part of our program team, and our students truly appreciated having him with us throughout the experience. Thank you, Clarence, for helping make Creative Careers in Hollywood such a success. We would happily work with him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for transportation services in Los Angeles!

We contracted with Big C's for a three-week program in LA for college students from UW-Madison. Yes, he always got our group where we needed to go safe and sound, and he never complained when our ridiculous schedule crisscrossed LA in geographically inefficient ways. But most importantly, he became an essential part of our group, engaging our students and feeding their interest in what they were learning. It was very clear at the end of our experience that my students would miss Clarence deeply. I will too--but I know I'll see him again because there is no one else I would work with.
