The owners are very responsive and communicate regularly with you by text/email as soon as you make your reservation. Once you arrive, you will hear from them daily by text. They are also on the property daily and easy to reach. The suite was beautiful, and the full kitchen was well equipped with dishes/glasses, pots/pans, all kinds of utensils--a fine cook's dream! However, I am not a fine cook or dreamer so I did zero cooking. And the breakfast delivered to our room each morning was delicious and way better than anything I could have cooked. Still, I appreciated having a full size fridge, dishes/glasses, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. The suite also had two TVs (one in the living room and one in the bedroom) and a variety of streaming options if you wanted to stay in and watch shows/movies. We did not do too much of that because there are so many great wineries nearby (too little time) and those wineries not only have tasting bars but also restaurants! So we were on the go a lot, and I missed out on sitting on the patio on the property and gazing at the twinkling stars and visiting the cute chickens on the property. The only thing that needs improving is a fix to the sliding closet door (off the track and made it unusable). One day I hope to return to this lovely property and participate in star gazing and chicken meet and greets! P.S. Easy parking, circular driveway if you want to unload the car before parking, and welcoming lobby.

I was a little hesitant to book it because I never stayed at a Bed and Breakfast establishment before. I decided to give it a try after reading great reviews and we really enjoyed our stay. After booking, I received a text which included a list of activities, their favorite wineries, lunch, and dinner suggestions. We ended up booking a couple things based on their suggestions. On the day of our arrival, we received a text letting us know our room was available early. We definitely enjoyed that but we were having lunch and arrived around 3:30pm. The room was beautiful and had a sweet handwritten note on the bed. The hostess (wish I remembered her name) was nice and recommended Altisima for their frozen drinks. We went on a Friday afternoon and it ended up being our favorite winery of the trip. Breakfast was delivered to our door each morning at 9am with a nice setup and it was really good. The breakfast burrito was our favorite. We made coffee afterwards and enjoyed it on the patio overlooking the vineyards. When we returned in the evenings, we turned on the fireplace in the room and just relaxed. It was a relaxing stay. Only one small suggestion would be to add blackout curtains. The sun beamed through the sides and top of the drapes, making it hard to sleep in. Overall, we would definitely return.

We were especially impressed with the nice bathroom with large shower and separate tub. Check-in was easy; like an Airbnb a simple code for room entry was provided and payment was made online. The property feels secluded and private and is very well maintained. There were only 4 or 5 rooms, I think, at this property. Each room has its own designated parking space. Like an Airbnb, bring your own amenities; other than soap and towels, nothing else was provided in the bathroom. There is a pool and hot tub but I never even saw either as they were on the back side of the complex and we pretty much just wanted to chill in the room. We planned a stay here just to relax and rediscover what a nap is. The huge downside for us was that the walls here are paper thin. The noise from the room next to us kept us from being able to relax or sleep and even woke us up the following morning. Conversations, the television, and the lovely sounds of snoring could be plainly heard by us. The most irritating noises from next door were the sounds of a babbling toddler who enjoyed running around the room; we were mistaken to think this is an adult-only type of villa. While we loved the room the noise didn't conform with our want of a relaxing vacation space.

I would absolutely recommend staying here, cozy and quaint within walking distance to the village, our room was called Love Letter and had a gorgeous view of the lake, total of 9 rooms with ample parking gives you a feeling of staying at home rather than a hotel or Inn. Gail the manager, who has been there for only three months, was very nice and friendly and accepted us like family, they have their lobby filled with all sorts of snacks, coffee, tea, assorted fruits, fresh and delicious apples from the trees, chips, cereal and more, all open to the guests 24/7, she had even made homemade acorns with chocolate kiss on top, were delicious, all in all a great getaway, for sure a gem to be discovered.

The whole experience was great. Booking was super easy, pricing for the area was quite reasonable and then the actual space was super cute and fun. We stayed in the "Love Letter" room which had a fantastic view of the lake. The style was, as noted by previous reviewers, Victorian and beautifully done. We were greeted by Chris and given a tour of the spaces available to us which included a kitchenette stocked with snacks and goodies (midnight cereal, YES!), a wide selection of DVDs and board games. The room had a little fireplace, lounge room, large bathroom (no bathtub) and a super cozy bed. The ONLY thing that was less than perfect as that the blanket was a tiny stuffy smelling. We very much enjoyed this B&B. Be sure to check out the Belgian Waffle and the Village just across the way.

We enjoyed our snacks and beverages on our beautiful private outdoor patio each morning and evening overlooking the vineyards. The fire table and lights were nice touches. We spent some time at the pool too. The bed was very comfortable and room and bathroom were very clean and spacious. No detail was overlooked in designing / decorating the spaces. The breakfast-in-bed style service was a wonderful touch and very accommodating, adding to the overall charm and comfort of the experience. With all that said, they truly deserve an additional five stars for the incredible role they played in helping me create a magical wedding proposal. Their attention to detail, care, and genuine effort turned an already beautiful stay into a once-in-a-lifetime moment. My then girlfriend--now my fiancé--was completely blown away. I cannot recommend The New Inn Hotel enough for anyone looking for romance, elegance, and exceptional service

The negatives: If you like mildew smell on the linens, then this place is for you. They smell like the linens were left in the washer too long and then dried. We couldn't get rid of the smell from our pajamas. There's no onsite staff to get this corrected. The rooms do not have central air conditioning so many windows are open and there's a window fan. This means you hear all the noise outside. There's a train that runs all night long. Finally there was a loud humming sound that kept me up all night. Sounds like a condenser or something . For $370 a night, you expect better service and amenities.

Once inside you are greeted with a place that needs major work. The carpet is old and stained. The bed is really high off the ground and the furniture is worn. Because there is no air conditioning you have to open the windows, stripping away any perceived privacy. We were surrounded by other rooms, we either didn't have any neighbors or they were really quiet. I was able to hear someone talking through the wall as a mumble, but that went away. Because of the seemingly thin walls I avoided watching the laughably small and awkwardly hung t.v. The worst part was the bathroom which because of the ac situation makes you open a window that stares directly at the door of your neighbor. They do have a nice enough lobby area with some coffee and snacks as well as a good place to sit an enoy them. The location is the selling point, very close to the beach and a few blocks away from downtown, I didn't use a car while there. That was great. They also have a really cool rooftop hangout area with chairs to sit and relax. For what it's worth, my wife liked this place more then I did.
