Alex, is the one who made all of the appointments for me. Paige, is the one who did all the pre-testing. The testing took less than an hour, and Paige walked me through everything. They are super efficient and also use high quality technology for all the testing. Dr. Schneider then comes in and explains to you what the options are. He listens to your needs, and then gives his recommendations. He recommended me to do the blended vision, which it is good for people that are in between 40 and 50 years old. He then explained everything to me in detail, visually showed me the difference, and pulled up all the pictures of my eyes x-rays. I put my trust in him and decided to go with his competent and professional recommendation -- the blended vision, and I couldn't be happier. After speaking with him, I then came back at 1:00 pm, and took my pre-med. Then they took me right in, and we started surgery at about 1:05 pm and ended at 1:25 pm. During the procedure, they give you a cute and cuddly teddy bear to hold for comfort. Dr. Schneider talks you through every single step. There's a nurse in the room counting down, so the patient knows how long the pressure will be, and it was so comforting to know that. You will understand, once you are there. Lastly, everything was sterile, clean, relaxing, professional, and I wouldn't have done my surgery any other way. Even though I had a post-op appointment the very next morning, they called me a few hours after my procedure to check on me, which I was thoroughly impressed with and felt so cared for. At the end of the day, this is what really matters. Schneider LASIK really blew me away with not only the surgery part, but their top notch care. They truly represent compassion and professionalism. Although my eyes weren't yet fully healed nor at their peak vision, 8 hours from surgery I was able to read from a distance! Incredible! I had -3 & -4 prescription with astigmatism and wasn't able to see anything passed 5inches from my eyes and I was able to read from more than 15ft away. 2 weeks post-surgery and my vision is excellent. 2 months post-surgery and my vision still clocks in at 20/15. Results will vary of course since we don't all heal the same, but the doctors at IQ Laser Vision do a stellar job at qualifying you during your consultation.
