45 minutes wait in the lobby, have not even been called to be seen. Inefficient with scheduling.

Here is my 5-star experience with Schneider LASIK!!! I got my surgery done yesterday at 1:00 pm,…read moreand I feel incredible!!! From beginning to the end, it was all simply AMAZING. Alex, is the one who made all of the appointments for me. Paige, is the one who did all the pre-testing. The testing took less than an hour, and Paige walked me through everything. They are super efficient and also use high quality technology for all the testing. Dr. Schneider then comes in and explains to you what the options are. He listens to your needs, and then gives his recommendations. He recommended me to do the blended vision, which it is good for people that are in between 40 and 50 years old. He then explained everything to me in detail, visually showed me the difference, and pulled up all the pictures of my eyes x-rays. I put my trust in him and decided to go with his competent and professional recommendation -- the blended vision, and I couldn't be happier. After speaking with him, I then came back at 1:00 pm, and took my pre-med. Then they took me right in, and we started surgery at about 1:05 pm and ended at 1:25 pm. During the procedure, they give you a cute and cuddly teddy bear to hold for comfort. Dr. Schneider talks you through every single step. There's a nurse in the room counting down, so the patient knows how long the pressure will be, and it was so comforting to know that. You will understand, once you are there. Lastly, everything was sterile, clean, relaxing, professional, and I wouldn't have done my surgery any other way. Even though I had a post-op appointment the very next morning, they called me a few hours after my procedure to check on me, which I was thoroughly impressed with and felt so cared for. At the end of the day, this is what really matters. Schneider LASIK really blew me away with not only the surgery part, but their top notch care. They truly represent compassion and professionalism. I can't thank you all enough for the exceptional care you provided for me. Thank you so much!!!

Last year I had no issues with this office and was always satisfied with my visits. Unfortunately,…read morethis year has been a very different experience, and it seems to coincide with new staff and more aggressive sales tactics. I went in for a routine eye exam and simply asked for my prescription at the end. I did not report any problems with my current contacts. Despite this, I was encouraged to try one-day contact lenses instead. When I asked for my prescription, I was told they needed to order trial lenses for my current brand, which meant I had to come back again just to receive what I already use. When I returned for that follow-up, even though my appointment was on time, it still took about 10 minutes for someone to take me to the back. I had already clearly stated that I was not planning on purchasing contact lenses through the office so there wouldn't be any pressure, yet they still attempted to place an order at the end of my second appointment, and were reluctant to release my prescription until I firmly told them I was going to buy elsewhere. This was frustrating, especially since I'm paying for the eye exam and prescription and should not feel like it's being held back. To add to the frustration, I had a separate upcoming appointment scheduled for Monday that I canceled over the phone, yet I still received a text asking me to confirm that appointment after the fact. Overall, the experience felt pushy and disorganized compared to previous years. Because of these new tactics, I'll be switching to a different eye care office.
