Clean safe and quiet. Loved our stay here and very convenient location. We go to Shasta often and stay in many different places. This is one of our favorites and nicely priced

Hiked Mount Shasta this weekend and needed a place to stay. Inn at Mount Shasta was the perfect distance and all the amenities you may need are not too far away. It is an older building, but it has been updated. AC worked great, good water pressure, comfortable beds, great low-key area and absolutely excellent customer service. Also their parking structure offers good size parking areas. I hate door dents, so I am always picky of where and how I park my truck. Why I rate them a solid five stars. Excellent location and the people working made us feel very welcome.

We LOVE it here! We take two week long trip in Washington/Oregon every summer and split our drives to and from in half to make it less miserable--this was our first time staying in Mount Shasta. My husband booked a different motel and the pictures were deceiving to say the least. We quickly left and pull into the Inn at Mount Shasta and are so so happy we did. This isn't a "fancy" establishment, but is by far the nicest, cleanest motel I've ever stayed in. You can tell the owners and staff genuinely care about the little details; the interior decor is clean and updated, the beds were comfy with plenty of pillows, and there's even a lit patio with a fire pit and lawn chairs in the front to gaze at the mountains while the world wakes up in the morning. We were actually kind of bummed we were only booked for the night before heading home. Special shout out to the front desk receptionist when we checked in on 09/01 around 6:30pm--she had glasses and tattoos and was so sweet and accommodating!

Bed was comfy. Ended up getting the family suite. The staff were friendly. Pricing was great.

Impressed! When you drive up it looks like a old motel, but freshly painted with outdoor areas. Walk in to this adorable cozy lobby. We had a family suite with 2 double beds, flat screen TV micro and fridge. Then there is a bedroom with a king bed and flat screen. Beds were very comfortable and room was CLEAN! Remodled and modern. But let me tell you about the towels, awesome, large and very soft, everyone commented on how nice the towels were.

There is a train track nearby, but don't let that deter you from staying here! The hotel does an excellent job insulating the rooms from the sound, and I had no trouble getting a great night's sleep. The beds are super comfortable, too. What really impressed me, though, was the customer service. In my haste to catch my flight--I had to drive all the way back to Medford, Oregon--I accidentally left a couple of items behind. Christine and Ari went above and beyond to make sure my belongings were mailed back to me. I really appreciated the care and effort they put into helping me. This is a hotel that genuinely cares about its guests, and if I'm ever back in the Mount Shasta area, I will absolutely stay here again. It is a little pricier than some of the other hotels in the area, but it's worth it for the cleanliness, comfort, quiet rooms, and excellent service. The location is also really convenient. There's a large grocery store within walking distance, and the movie theater is right across the way. Highly recommended!

The rooms all run along a wooden walkway facing the parking lot. I was notified there would be construction from 9 to 5 which wasn't a problem for me as I was arriving after 5 and leaving before 9. What was a problem was that the parking lot was roped off so you had to park on the outer edges rather than in front of the room, I was in 18. This was a bit of an issue for me as one of the reasons I booked was that just coming off of a knee replacement I wanted a room that I could park directly in front of. If they had disclosed this, I would have gone somewhere else. Secondly, the pillow situation was pretty horrible, old feather pillows which flattened down to nothingness, no support at all. The heating unit was one of those old wall units with a really loud fan, so couldn't keep that on. Hot and cold water difficult to get in shower, so either scald or lukewarm. there was no space to put items above sink on tiny shelf. I would not stay there again.

Of course, the scenery was wonderful. We attended a wedding and the food was terrific. Our family wants to come back and just vacation and relax. My only concern is with the dishes/silverware. This is a major sanitation concern. IF the property thoroughly cleans and sanitizes the kitchenware between stays, this chore is an unnecessary burden on paying guests. If they do not reclean them, then the health and safety of incoming guests relies entirely on the honor system and the cleaning habits of previous occupants. It is incredibly unsettling to think the dishes we used may not have been professionally washed or sanitized. The cabin itself clearly got a "landlord special" French doors were stuck and wouldnt open. Had to call maintenance to get them fixed. The refrigerator and cabinet drawers overlap so tightly that opening the fridge makes the drawers to open, and vice versa. The fridge door is already dented, clearly from this problem. The blinds are old, broken, and don't close all the way. So we had to wake up with the sun every morning, spiderwebs in the ceiling corners throughout the cabin. For the price charged to stay here, guests should at least be guaranteed professional cleanliness. Unfortunately, this property missed the mark on all counts.

She also gave us a dinner recommendation that turned out to be a good call. The room was spacious and clean for two people. Good amenities... a safe, a fridge that's bigger than a mini but smaller than a full size, a microwave, and a dinette seating area. The LOGE was very communicative before the upcoming day to check in. Emails and texts were sent out every day to better improve our stay. Checking in was as simple as getting a four digit code and showing up to your designated room. Upon walking in the room we noticed how clean and welcoming it was. The bathroom was well-maintained and included two showerheads. However, I wish that there was a place in the bathroom to set your toothbrushes, toothpaste, shaver, etc. This did not feel like a hotel at all; It definitely gave me a house-like feel with raised ceilings, a microwave, a refrigerator/freezer, a heater/air conditioner, and even a hammock that drapes over both beds. The TV was quite small but I liked the option of signing in to your streaming accounts like netflix, Disney + etc. They do have other things in the room that you can take, but will be charged at your bill upon check out like a souvenir hat, beanie, blanket and hammock. A wine/bottle opener is also provided in the room. There are snacks in a box along with the drinks in the fridge for purchase as well. They even provided a SHOE DRYING gadget for your wet shoes which helped sooo much as well as a mount for your ski gear. Besides the room being awesome, there is a small café/bar, an office, meeting room, a rental center and a kitchen located in the front for guests to share. Something I really loved about the place is that they have plenty of space for outdoor gatherings! Designated fire pits/ bbq pits are spaced out and located around the LOGE. Speaking of fire pits, they also provide fire wood and s'mores supplies which is a huge bonus! The parking lot is decent, but I can see it getting packed during the busy season so try and get there early! We weren't sure how to check out so we called the front desk and told them our room number and check out time. The LOGE camps is at Avery convenient location up to mount shasta, with a nearby supermarket, gas station and snow gear store. I highly recommend checking out bunny flats for your snow activities! Anywhoo, do I recommend this location to stay for the night? Answer: helllls yes!!! 10/10!!
