Reserved via Expedia, check in was smooth. Older, but quaint with vintage decor. Bed was comfy. Clean, safe and very quiet! I like parking right in front of my room. Several nice choices of restaurants close by, close to fwy. A delicious served breakfast of fruit, coffee and freshly made Belgian waffles.

SUPER CUTE! Honestly, I want to keep this review to myself and in my heart because I'm being selfish and don't want this cute little place to get overrun by A-holes. It was clean and there's a waffle breakfast in the morning. I'm allergic to berries and they made a batch without berries just for me to be able to have breakfast every morning . :) If you don't want a waffle they still have other non-berry fruit, toast, boiled egg, and oatmeal that you can have. They have coffee and tea for you all day and they have a complimentary wine hour, which I didn't partake in because I was out hiking and exploring with my dog. This place is so lovely I can't wait to go back again. Every single person there was kind and helpful. Cheyenne, Kim, Mindy, and Kathy THANK YOU for making my 50th birthday trip special. Jake had such a great vacation with me. It was difficult trying to find a decent hotel that would accommodate dogs and I'm so glad this place did. This place felt like a home away from home.

Pleasant boutique hotel. I had a wonderful stay. The place is a little outdated but it was not a problem to me. The host are great they made cute blueberry Belgian waffle, 2 hard boil eggs with a bowl of fruit and coffee to complement the breakfast after an exhausting day of hiking. I stayed for 2 nights but didn't have breakfast the second morning.

Found this little gem off the 5 Interstate for the night. It had such a cozy charm and appeal. Front desk staff was so friendly and so welcoming. Our room was so beautiful and spacious. It had a living room a built-in desk and a large four poster bed. So clean and nice.

The room was first floor near the stairs and smoking area outside, but that was not a problem at all. The room was clean, towels and bedding were clean and crisp. I liked the welcome note on the bed. That was really sweet of them! The room had a microwave and small fridge w/freezer. There was a small office desk with coffee and ice. Tv, a/c, heater unit. Two things to note: 1. If you use 3 ports to charge at the clock on the nightstand, it uses too much power and one of the electronics needs to be unplugged. There are wall outlets, so you'd need to use those. 2. We didn't have a shower curtain when we arrived. I thought it was one of those modern places where it's just open, but we definitely needed a shower curtain. I felt so bad showering and getting everything wet in the bathroom. Housekeeping was kind to answer quickly and gave us towels to clean up. The fan in the bathroom isn't that effective. I suspect they'll have a mold problem in the future. The light switch to the bathroom is on the outside, which I thought was odd. Other than that, we had a pleasant one night stay. We would stay here again!

The rooms all run along a wooden walkway facing the parking lot. I was notified there would be construction from 9 to 5 which wasn't a problem for me as I was arriving after 5 and leaving before 9. What was a problem was that the parking lot was roped off so you had to park on the outer edges rather than in front of the room, I was in 18. This was a bit of an issue for me as one of the reasons I booked was that just coming off of a knee replacement I wanted a room that I could park directly in front of. If they had disclosed this, I would have gone somewhere else. Secondly, the pillow situation was pretty horrible, old feather pillows which flattened down to nothingness, no support at all. The heating unit was one of those old wall units with a really loud fan, so couldn't keep that on. Hot and cold water difficult to get in shower, so either scald or lukewarm. there was no space to put items above sink on tiny shelf. I would not stay there again.

Even the deck and deck furniture was very clean. Nice kitchen with supplies, very comfortable bed. We brought our dog and it was nice having a room that is in an area where others bring their dogs which avoids being around people who are not dog fanciers. Nice lawn area with supplied baggies. Of course, the scenery was wonderful. We attended a wedding and the food was terrific. Our family wants to come back and just vacation and relax. My only concern is with the dishes/silverware. We had to wash our own, but did the people prior to use do the same and did they do a thorough job?

This is a major sanitation concern. IF the property thoroughly cleans and sanitizes the kitchenware between stays, this chore is an unnecessary burden on paying guests. If they do not reclean them, then the health and safety of incoming guests relies entirely on the honor system and the cleaning habits of previous occupants. It is incredibly unsettling to think the dishes we used may not have been professionally washed or sanitized. The cabin itself clearly got a "landlord special" French doors were stuck and wouldnt open. Had to call maintenance to get them fixed. The refrigerator and cabinet drawers overlap so tightly that opening the fridge makes the drawers to open, and vice versa. The fridge door is already dented, clearly from this problem. The blinds are old, broken, and don't close all the way. So we had to wake up with the sun every morning, spiderwebs in the ceiling corners throughout the cabin. For the price charged to stay here, guests should at least be guaranteed professional cleanliness. Unfortunately, this property missed the mark on all counts.

We had opportunities to ask questions or voice concerns during our stay if needed and the reminders for check-out were helpful. When I host guests at my house, I do everything I can to anticipate needs to make their stay as welcoming as possible. There are so many facets to hospitality. To say I was absolutely blown away by the level of care these owners put into their property is an understatement! When you read the other reviews about the cleanliness of the property/rooms, the fantastic communication and the attention to detail, believe them. Not only were the amenities more than we needed, but they anticipated our needs before we knew we'd have them. They're THAT good! The LOGE was very communicative before the upcoming day to check in. Emails and texts were sent out every day to better improve our stay. Checking in was as simple as getting a four digit code and showing up to your designated room. Upon walking in the room we noticed how clean and welcoming it was. The bathroom was well-maintained and included two showerheads. However, I wish that there was a place in the bathroom to set your toothbrushes, toothpaste, shaver, etc. This did not feel like a hotel at all; It definitely gave me a house-like feel with raised ceilings, a microwave, a refrigerator/freezer, a heater/air conditioner, and even a hammock that drapes over both beds. The TV was quite small but I liked the option of signing in to your streaming accounts like netflix, Disney + etc. They do have other things in the room that you can take, but will be charged at your bill upon check out like a souvenir hat, beanie, blanket and hammock. A wine/bottle opener is also provided in the room. There are snacks in a box along with the drinks in the fridge for purchase as well. They even provided a SHOE DRYING gadget for your wet shoes which helped sooo much as well as a mount for your ski gear. Besides the room being awesome, there is a small café/bar, an office, meeting room, a rental center and a kitchen located in the front for guests to share. Something I really loved about the place is that they have plenty of space for outdoor gatherings! Designated fire pits/ bbq pits are spaced out and located around the LOGE. Speaking of fire pits, they also provide fire wood and s'mores supplies which is a huge bonus! The parking lot is decent, but I can see it getting packed during the busy season so try and get there early! We weren't sure how to check out so we called the front desk and told them our room number and check out time. The LOGE camps is at Avery convenient location up to mount shasta, with a nearby supermarket, gas station and snow gear store. I highly recommend checking out bunny flats for your snow activities! Anywhoo, do I recommend this location to stay for the night? Answer: helllls yes!!! 10/10!!
